Chapter 11

Name:Come Here, Tyrant! Author:Park Mina
The next day, he suffered from a high fever and aroused the fear of his servants with his reddened face, but he had no regrets even though he felt sorry for them.

If she hadn’t finished her story, he would have been there for days and would be willing to listen to it.

So he may have hardened like a stone. But the stone was probably smiling brightly.

Finding out Annie’s identity was easier than he thought.

The only family who had the rare trait of purple eyes was the Dsev family. She was already favored by many nobles and was known as the Lady with the sharp personality.

It was very natural. Anyone who had a conversation with Annie would fall in love with that smile and bold attitude.

Now he envied her close aristocrats. It was a bit embarrassing, but he was even jealous of the maid who served her at that time.

Now he wanted to say something to Annie, but he had to be patient.

Because his favorite woman must be afraid of him.

‘If I suddenly say I want to be friends, she’ll think it’s weird, and if I approach her, she’ll be afraid…‘

He couldn’t stop the heartbreaking worries, as if sprinkling coarse salt on an overly inflamed wound.

He wants to look good in front of Annie, but he couldn’t do it at the same time. Even if he couldn’t see her every day, he wanted to see her again even for a minute, but he had to put up with it.

What does Annie do when she is overwhelmed?  His father, who was a great emperor, always hinted that the beginning of love is caring for them.

Now Ejed agreed too, and he hated everything that would make her feel pressured.

So he planned a confession, and he even had second-hand experience while reading romance plays or books.

Even on a hot summer day, he had a hard time wearing a mask or cloak to watch the performance in case the actors would be afraid, but it was a joyful process.

When he was ready and found Annie, Ejed stopped breathing.

A friendly man named John was with her, who looked more beautiful than anyone else.

As if it had been poured by black ink, the front of his eyes became dark.

As if black ink poured in front of him, all he saw was darkness.

[John, try this.]

[Thank you, Miss Annie.]

Tuk.

Drop.

The love letter in his hand fell to the floor.

When they fed each other ice cream and kissed, a sense of despair swallowed him up. It was incomparable to when he was surrounded in the middle of an enemy camp.

It was also stupid.

Another man couldn’t let such a good woman go. On that day, for the first time, he drank strong alcohol.

Annie smiled more beautifully than anyone else during Ejed’s six painful years.

He blamed his stupid self, but thought it was fortunate. It was the first time she looked so calm.

He comforted himself by saying that her happiness was important, but he could not come to terms with this fact… until he heard the news that made his heart drop.

[Lady Dsev broke up with someone!]

‘Really?’

He heard the story from the maids of the Imperial Palace and asked them if it was true.

If people weren’t afraid of him, they would have stayed.

‘Annie broke up…’

He was both happy and worried to the point where he was going crazy. There was no day when his nails weren’t being bitten by nervousness.

Thinking hard about what to do, Ejed came up with a way to meet her and confess his feelings under the pretext of a birthday banquet.

He had a party at once where he invited the Dsev family, but he stopped at the story of her complaining to her maid.

[Well… I’ll have to keep my eyes on this since my parents are worried. Still… it’s been 6 years since I met him and yet I might need a year to clear my mind.]

1 year…

He was breathless. 1 year, 365 days, 8760 hours, 525600 minutes, 31536000 seconds.

It was by no means a short amount of time.Especially in Ejed’s case, who waited for six years. Wasn’t it too late to confess his passionate love for her right now?
