In their way to the south, Hammed used his elemental swords to kill every beast they passed by. Now that he was at the Second Heaven Tribulation Realm, his fight technique [World Essence Sword Intent] already was equivalent to a quasi-heaven level one and its cultivation was at the Mid Minor Success.
So, when he formed them, they already looked like real weapons and could fly and kill opponents kilometers away, distorting space and time smoothly.
...
As they got close to their destination, the tokens started to shine. This indicated that someone was around.
About thirty miles ahead, a group of people was surrounding a Mid Sovereign Realm beast, trying to kill it. As Hammed's wagon passed by, they finally took down the beast.
This group was formed by youths of the same clan. They were from the Divine Tortoise Clan, well known race from the seas, because of their strong defense, almost invincible in battle on the same realm. The group had about 10 members, with cultivations varying from High Essence Plane Realm to Second Heaven Tribulation Realm.
...
From close, the outline Hammed saw back then looked more like a giant pavilion. This indicated that in the past, this micro realm used to have intelligent races, and that means theirs treasures inside.
As Hammed's group posed at the ground, the Divine Tortoise guys got close and the strongest of them came walking in their direction.
Hammed also stepped ahead and said "Greetings, I'm Hammed, what's your name?" clapping his hands.
"Greetings, I'm Gabriel, from the North Sea's Divine Tortoise Clan." Gabriel said in a friendly tone, since all the members of the other group had a Second Heaven Tribulation Realm cultivation.
"Oh, so you're from the North Sea too. We are the sovereigns of a new formed country, Heaven Conquering Country. Have you heard of it ?" Hammed asked.
"Yes, I heard about the Lesser Tiger Clan being defeated by an assassination organization some time ago, so they were you guys. As we're from the same place, was do you think of teaming up to explore this pavilion ?"
Gabriel proposed.
"It's okay for me, but how will we divid the loots ?" Hammed said as he looked at Gabriel.
"Well, since my group is in bigger number, how about 60% for us and 40% for your group, but you guys have the first choose. Of course, that for was we get together. Everything obtained by ourselves is ours. What do you think ?" Gabriel said his conditions.
"For me, it's okay, but let's make a oath." Hammed agreed.
"Okay"
He two of them stepped ahead and Gabriel took out a Blood Oath Contract. He used his essence to write down the conditions and Hammed read them. After everything was okay, both of them dropped a bit of blood in the paper. It burned up and ascended to the heavens, consolidating what was sworn.
Them, the two leaders came back to their groups to explane the alliance formed with the other party. After that, the two groups headed together to the pavilion's gates.
The two parties were very friendly with each other, since they were from same place. Specially Rafael, he was happily chatting with a First Heaven Tribulation Realm female expert. Only the cloaked expert form Hammed's group stayed by himself.
As they got close to the gates, their was a giant square stone besides them, with some ancient writings in a strange language. Although nobody knew the language at first, the text was writing with a intent. Writing with intent permits experts to read something even if they don't know the language, and also helps who's reading to learn the new language.
The only difficult thing about it was that to write with intent, one had to have a profound understanding of a Heaven Path* and a Realm Sovereign cultivation.
On the stone was written:
"Here lays the last stronghold of the my Heavenly Scholar Race. All the members of my clan abounded their lands and cities to fight for the glory of our race in a final war against the Hellish Crow Clan. Of the 10 Great Elders, I'm the last alive and responsible for keeping the race legacy. If your a descendant of my race, I feel extremely proud to have accomplished my mission. But if your an outsider and all of my clansmen has perished, come take our legacy to the world one more time."
Seeing the lasts word of a grand expert of the past, everyone bowed to the stone and thanked for the opportunity. After that, the group entered the giant pavilion.
...
The layout of pavilion was that of a great hall divided in alternative ones. Gabriel's group headed to the Weapon Hall. As he got in, Hammed stopped and turned to his mates
"Since we recently created a country, it's techniques are somehow lacking. What do you guys think we head to the Martial Hall and the library?"
Rafael and Leonard agreed.
Then Hammed looked to the cloaked expert and asked
"How about you? If you don't want to, fell free to explore around. If you find some trouble, just use the Communication Button."
The cloaked expert looked at him and said "No, I'm okay with going to the Martial Hall."
Since everyone agreed, the group headed to the Martial Hall. The Martial Hall was a great room filled with books and scrolls. As they got there Hammed turned to his bros and said " Look for the most subtle techniques, and give preference for Low Earth Level or above. Let's move fast because I'm don't have a good feeling about this pavilion, everything is just to peaceful and easy."
After Hammed's reminder, the group started to pick up books and scrolls form the bookshelves, looking for the better ones.
The trio already agreed that what the cloaked expert picked up would be his, since they were in three and could collect much more than him. It was good to not be greedy.
*(Note: Until a cultivator is below the Sovereign Level, he comprehends the elements of the world. When he passes through the third tribulation, he receives a bigger understanding about the elements he chose to comprehend and a general knowledge about the others. So when someone steps in the Sovereign Realm, his comprehension of the elements finishes and he has to choose a Heaven Path to continue cultivating. Exemples are the Sword Path, Spear Path, Panting Path, and so on.)
