Chapter 414 - The Wedding (Part- Till the death apart us(3))

The embarrassing moment was really here when Lee Xuiye got rooted at her place and forgot to walk further but luckily they had reached the altar to meet the groom.

Lee Xuiye had forgotten everything but not Mo Lingtan. Like he felt the past was in the past now, Lee Xuiye was standing in front of him in the bridal gown to be his for a lifetime; not only this one but every one whenever she would take birth in this world...no...no...the universe.

He opened his palm to wait for her hand which wouldn't have been placed on his if Zhang Wei wasn't beside Lee Xuiye.

Zhang Wei's movement brought Lee Xuiye back to her present senses and she started feeling more nervous until she heard Zhang Wei's words while putting her hand in his.

Though Mo Lingtan was a powerful man of their country and had billions of money in his bank account but still, like every other father, Zhang Wei didn't forget to give an open warning to him.

"I am giving you my daughter. You have to cherish her as a precious stone, bring happiness in her life and never dare to upset her and bring tears in her eyes. If you do, then don't forget I am still alive to make your life a living hell. Understand?" Zhang Wei sternly said with his stony stare towards Mo Lingtan.

Lee Xuiye who was feeling nervous a second ago, unconsciously got the strength as there was nothing to worry about when she knew her father was standing behind her to teach her husband a lesson if he dared to bully her.

Zhang Wei's warning amused everyone that they wanted to applaud him. No one had warned Mo Lingtan like this. Even if someone had done it, his/her life had turned hell instead.

But here, not only Zhang Wei had openly warned Mo Lingtan but also Mo Lingtan didn't feel offended.

Instead, he assured Zhang Wei. "I will make sure that you won't receive any complaints regarding me, Sir."

Then only a smile formed on Zhang Wei's stern face. "Congratulations!"

"Thank you, Dad."

After Zhang Wei securely handed over his precious daughter to her husband, he left, and from there Mo Lingtan securely held Lee Xuiye's hand with a promise to never let go of her hand even before the vows had been read out.

The couple turned to face Father Henry while the guests sat down and with that the wedding ceremony started.

"Family and friends, we are all gathered here today to witness the beautiful union of Mo Lingtan and Lee Xuiye…" 

Father Henry started reading the prayers and the importance of marriage in a person's life and the duty of the husband and wife which Lee Xuiye wasn't sure that she would stand up at each stated duties but she knew that she would stand up beside Mo Lingtan in any and every situation, whether it would be a good one or a bad one as a supporting and loving wife.

And here she heard vows from Mo Lingtan's mouth. 

"I, Mo Lingtan, take you, Lee Xuiye, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us apart, according to God's holy law. In the presence of God, I make this vow."

Mo Lingtan's every word was as clear as a crystal and loud enough for every person present in the church to hear out and be witness to his vows so that if he wanted, which of course he would never, to step back from his words, he wouldn't be able to.

And the same went for Lee Xuiye.

"I, Lee Xuiye, take you, Mo Lingtan, to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us apart, according to God's holy law. In the presence of God, I make this vow."

"I, hereby, announce both of you as husband and wife. Please exchange the rings."

Father Herny passed the rings to the groom and bride and the cheers sounded inside the church with the exchange of rings between the couple.

"Wow…."

"Clap…"

"Clap…"

"Owww…"

"Now you may kiss the bride." Father Henry said the last piece of the sentence to conclude the marriage ceremony and for which Mo Lingtan had been waiting since the morning.

Mo Lingtan lifted her veil and her beautiful, exquisite face came in front of his sight. His heart skipped a few beats here and thereupon looking at her face.

Yes! He was never wrong! Lee Xuiye was the most beautiful bride in this world. Whereas Lee Xuiye didn't know how to admire Mo Lingtan's looks, his handsomeness when his capturing eyes allured her so immensely that she couldn't take her eyes off of his stare.

Lee Xuiye was standing still and completely frozen in her place until Mo Lingtan's lips captured hers.

She closed her eyes and seemed to melt in his arms, flowing like a river to accompany him on their first intimacy as a wedded couple..

Lee Xuiye's alluring lips were soft and rosy that Mo Lingtan was feeling like he was kissing her for the first time just like the way he kissed her on the night when he confessed his feelings for the first time.

The same kind of feeling which he had felt ages ago and again now, though the journey from 'Lee Xuiye, be my girlfriend' to 'Lee Xuiye, I take you, my wife.' was full of ups and downs that a book could be written down and he was sure that the book on their life would be a success just like all of his business deals.
