Chapter 419 - The Baby (Part-1)

Eight months later.

The Royal Blu Hotel.

"Awwww… He is so cute." Lee Xuiye's heart melted looking at the little boy who had just woken up. His big bright and moist eyes were staring at the people who were coming to meet him here every now and then. Drool was continuously dribbling down his mouth that a familiar looking lady was wiping continuously and looking at her, he got excited and moved his fists and legs in excitement as he was sure that this lady must be his mother.

"Of course, he is my baby. He will be cute just like me. Right baby?" Su Wan sported a million-dollar smile on her face since her son was born.

Today, they had thrown a party to celebrate the completion of her son's full moon. Where Su Wan had a beautiful smile on her face, Li Yan had a poker face.

Only he knew how much in shock he was in when he heard the doctor saying that, 'Congralution Mr. Li, it's a boy.'

What was there to be congratulated?

He wanted a sweet and cute girl, however, he got a monster boy who had taken all the affection of his family away from him. Now no one gave any importance to him as one could look at his current situation where he was standing alone, far away from his wife, so how could he show a smile on his face? He couldn't even show a fake smile on his face.

The little boy had a temper like his father so when someone held him up in their arms, he cried out as he didn't like to be carried up in the arms of other people except for his family members but that excluded his unhappy father.

Since his father was unhappy with his birth, he wouldn't give any privilege to his father to carry his soft flower-like body.

Thus, Su Wan stood beside her son while gently wiping the drool from his mouth and making sure that no one would carry him otherwise her little darling would cry out which would break her heart that very instant.

Lee Xuiye was looking at the little boy intensely while c.a.r.e.s.sing her belly bump which looked like a huge ball. In the blink of an eye, nine months of her pregnancy were almost complete. The doctor had given a date of next week. In a week, her baby boy would be in this world just like Su Wan's son. Though they didn't ask the gender of the baby, she knew that it was a baby boy!

Thinking about this, her heart was overflowing with excitement but the nervousness was overwhelming too. It would be a lie to say that she was not scared.

"But my baby boy would be the cutest baby in this world!" Han Lau's excited voice came and in the next moment, she was zoomed towards her friends.

"Slow down, you are pregnant now. Where were you? I was looking for you!" Su Wan inquired while Lee Xuiye snapped back to her senses hearing the cheerful voice of her friend.

"I had an appointment with the doctor and you know, it is…"

"Baby boy, we already heard it!" Lee Xuiye completed her sentence.

It seemed that they would all be blessed with a baby boy.

Soon after Mo Lingtan and Lee Xuiye's marriage, Lu Yichen and Jenny got married as the good news knocked on the door of the Lu Family that Jenny was pregnant.

Thereafter, the couple went back to the States as their profession was being a wildlife photographer so they wanted their child to be born there. Chasing after them, Grandma Lu and Father Lu also left for the States to stay with their son and daughter-in-law.

Since all their friends were planning to have a child, Yang Rong and Han Lau thought that it was the right time for them to have a baby too. And with that, Han Lau got pregnant and now happily jumped hearing that she was going to have a baby boy too.

Whereas, Yang Rong came to stand beside Li Yan, far away from his wife and made a poker face as well.

Like every other father, Yang Rong was hoping to hear that they were going to have a baby girl but no!

Reality is a cruel bitch!

Beside them, Mo Lingtan stood up. Seeing that everyone around him was having a son, so as a reality check, he didn't have much high hopes in his case too.

Like Lee Xuiye always said that they would have a baby boy. Though they had decided to let the truth be revealed later at the time of the birth of the baby, still, Mo Lingtan thought to accept the reality and he had started planning to send away his two rascal sons; perhaps, the army would be better for them since they were boys who should learn to protect themselves and their family. After all, not everyone could be like him, no matter, it would be his own sons.

With the two rascals away in the army, there would be no hindrance between him and his wife.

Yes! That was a perfect plan!

With this thinking, Mo Lingtan didn't look distressed like his friends.

Thus, after patting his friend's shoulders as a form of courage, Mo Lingtan went back towards his wife as he had to take care of his wife. Yang Rong also followed suit. 

Many guests came toward to congratulate Li Yan but he sent them away with his cold stare and stood there alone.

The party continued in a pleasant manner with the tired little boy cring for the milk. So Su Wan took him back to the room while the guests started leaving after meeting Li Yan.

"Honey, I need to go to the restroom." Lee Xuiye said as they were about to leave as well.

Being pregnant was a very tough job as she had to go to the washroom every now and then, in addition to this, she was easily tired out.

Mo Lingtan understood these difficulties so he seldom left her side.

"Alright! Let me come with you."

"No! You go and meet Li Yan. Then we will leave, I feel very tired now."

"Alright, go ahead. I wait for you here. Be careful!"

"Hmm…"

With that, Lee Xuiye hurried to the restroom but as soon as she walked a few steps a sudden pain rose up in her stomach.
