297 I suffered a lot, Brother Lingtan Part-2

When Lee Xuiye saw the person in front of her, she was shocked for a moment, and instantly in the next moment, her eyes turned red and moistened.

Lee Xuiye didn't notice and her wheelchair got stuck on the side table. She moved the wheels forward using her hands but no matter how much she tried, it wouldn't move forward.

Mo Lingtan saw her struggle and thought that she would call him, but she didn't seem to have that kind of intention as she was still wanting to show her strong self in front of him. Therefore, Mo Lingtan also didn't go towards her.

Lee Xuiye was getting frustrated so she frustratingly gave a huge push to the wheels which caused a sharp pain in her arm. "AHH!!"

"What a klutz! Let me take a look." Mo Lingtan immediately chided her and went towards her to check her arm.

Thankfully, he didn't find any kind swollenness in her arm but still, he thought to call the doctor later to check her arm.

"Still being stubborn!" Mo Lingtan angrily said and helped to unstick her wheelchair from the table and pushed her toward the side table where he had arranged the food.

Mo Lingtan moved in front of her and found her shoulders were trembling badly and tears were rolling down on her cheeks.

This stubborn girl would make him crazy.

Mo Lingtan helplessly sighed and bent down in front of her. "Alright, don't cry. Tell me where did you get hurt? I will call the doctor."

"I ...am...not like him...Hu...Hu!" Lee Xuiye looked at him with her red eyes and said with sobs.

Him meant Wang Hui.

"I...I suffered a lot, Brother Lingtan…" Lee Xuiye sprang in his arms and cried aloud.

Hearing her high pitch crying voice, Mo Lingtan felt his heart was pierced with millions of needles.

Mo Lingtan didn't know what to say. He knew that she had suffered a lot but he never expected that her suffering made her lose all trust from him.

Mo Lingtan just hugged her tightly to console her and hear out all her grievances. Perhaps, this would increase her trust in him

"I...I….was all alone...no...no one was with me...not even you... not...even Wanwan...They used their money...to hurt me...badly...I didn't have anyone...to help me…."

Lee Xuiye was in Mo Lingtan's embrace and told him everything which she had suffered. She had never mentioned to anyone those dark five years in France, not even to Lee Chang-You. Talking about those incidents was like opening her old wounds which was very painful to her.

However, she now decided to open her wounds on her own to let Mo Lingtan see how much she had been hurt all these years.

Mo Lingtan was quietly listening to her and with each passing moment, his grab around her was getting tighter. 

Mo Lingtan didn't investigate Lee Xuiye's whereabouts or her condition as he thought she would tell him on her own. He thought she would come to him and tell him about getting bullied and let him take revenge for her like she used to do in their school.

However, he had never dreamt that Lee Xuiye had suffered so much silently and didn't dare to come towards him and tell him about her suffering because of her guilt towards Mo Yinan's death. 

It was all because of Mo Mushan's selfish reasons.

Mo Lingtan regretted that he had left Mo Mushan without letting the latter pay much. However, now that Mo Lingtan had heard Lee Xuiye's suffering, he had changed his plan for Mo Mushan and decided to let the latter suffer more.
