Soon, she reached outside Mo Lingtan's office.

Mo Lingtan was sitting behind the table with the pile of documents in front of him.

Though the load of work seemed to be very high and Mo Lingtan immersed himself in his work without wondering what was happening beside him, he looked so damn handsome that Lee Xuiye just wanted to throw into the bed.

Seeing that this handsome man was now hers, Lee Xiuye's chest puffed up in a proud manner with her chin high and a bright smile on her face.

"Missus!" Qi Zhu called out when he saw it was Lee Xuiye otherwise he was going to reprimand whosoever the person was as everyone knew that Mo Lingtan didn't allow any staff members in his office except Qi Zhu. 

Even the directors of the companies weren't allowed in his office.

Obviously, many confidential information was keeping in Mo Lingtan's office and there were many people who wanted to use it against him.

Mo Lingtan immediately looked up hearing Qi Zhu's words and a smile appeared on his face. Seeing that his wife was here, he wasn't in the mood for work anymore. He closed the file and passed it to Qi Zhu who understandingly took it and left the office quietly in case he would become the third wheel.

"If I would have told you about my arrival, how would I do my surprise check on you?" Lee Xuiye asked with a mischievous smile.

"Surprise check on me? So do you find anything suspicious against me, Missus?"

"Mmm...so far no! But don't you dare take it for granted. The surprise check can happen anytime anywhere and if I find anything, then you will be in big trouble."

"I won't dare to…Now let me take a reward for passing my first surprise check!" Mo Lingtan said and immediately covered his lips with hers.

"Urgh…" Lee Xuiye annoyingly pushed him away "We did it last night!"

"She said that she agrees with your deal but you have to do something for her as well."

Mo Lingtan found it strange as he tried very hard to convince Yue Wanwan to help him, but she didn't agree with him no matter whatever he offered to her in exchange for her help and now after so many years, she suddenly came on her own to help him. There must be something fishy. 

"Did she tell you what the something is that she is asking for?" Mo Lingtan asked.

"No, she didn't but she said something which I don't understand."

"What?"

"She said that her negligence has already caused two lives to be wasted, now she wants to make up for them."

Mo Lingtan was in deep thought thinking about the possibilities behind Yue Wanwan's sudden appearance then he came back to his senses when Lee Xuiye tagged his shirt and asked. "Baby, what is it going on between the two of you?"

Lee Xuiye was his wife and since she had started sharing everything with him, Mo Lingtan didn't hesitate to share with her. "I think Xia Xiulan didn't commit suicide, Mo Qiwn was behind her death."
