319 Minimum Chance Part-3

"I want you to think again. It is not necessary to go through so much torture. We can adopt a child." Mo Lingtan worriedly said. 

Hearing his words, Lee Xuiye put down the knife as she didn't have a mood to continue with her breakfast, and irritatingly replied "We have already discussed it so many times. Why can't you let me do things as I want?"

Dr. Qian had mentioned that Lee Xuiye could get the treatment under traditional medical care in a hope to get pregnant but the chance was very slim.

"I just don't want you to go through so much trouble. A child doesn't matter for me, only you matter to me. If you really want a child we can adopt it. What is the problem with that?" Mo Lingtan frustratingly replied.

"I don't want a child for you, I want it for myself. I want to be a mother. I want to experience all the things through which all women go through whether it is the pain during the delivery or blissfulness while looking at my child for the first time." Lee Xuiye nodded and wiped her tears "Alright, I will listen to you."

"Okay, c'mon eat breakfast then I will go with you to see Dr. Si."

"Nooo...I can go alone…" Lee Xuiye wanted to deny his company but she stopped when she saw his angry face.

Although he had said that three months was the limit, she didn't have the intention to stop until all her hopes dashed.

Afterward, the husband and wife went to meet Dr. Si, the doctor who was recommended by Dr. Qian.

"Mrs. Mo. Dr. Qian has mentioned your case to me. But I have to say as you may be unhappy but your chance of becoming pregnant is very minimum. Your ovaries are badly demanded because of stabs on your stomach." Dr. Si straightforwardly said after examining Lee Xuiye's body.

Her fist was clenched so tight that her blood vessels could be seen as if it would burst out because of the stoppage of blood until Mo Lingtan's hand held her hands. Her hands were turning cold but his hands were giving her warmth as he understood how much she regretted her decision and how she felt.

"Doctor, is there no chance for recovery?"

"Well, I can't say there is no chance but the chances are very minimum. We can give it a shot but I can't give you any kind of guarantee." Dr. Si replied while her eyes were examining Lee Xuiye and Mo Lingtan.

Many couples came here to get the treatment but they gave up half-way after facing many difficulties in their day to day or sometimes, they even blame the doctors despite knowing that they were the party at fault.

While giving up or blaming the doctors, the couples never understood that they were not only wasting all their efforts but also the doctors' efforts.

Although the medical technologies had advanced very much, still the people came here only because of hope which they couldn't find in those advanced technologies.

Therefore, throughout her experience, Dr. Si understood that she shouldn't waste her effort on those couples who would give up easily.

"Then we will go for it!" Lee Xuiye said instantly as she couldn't lose her hope.

"Are you sure Mrs. Mo? Your efforts could be gone to waste, you can adopt a child instead of going through all this torture." Dr. Si suggested.

"No Doctor. I want to give it a try even though I might not succeed. Please, Doctor." Lee Xuiye replied with determination.

Dr. Si nodded and looked at Mo Lingtan. "Mr. Mo. what do you think? You can convince your wife for adoption. After all, you also have to suffer during this process."

"No Doctor, we will try but if we don't see any improvement in three months, we will give up." Mo Lingtan said his intention. 

He knew that Lee Xuiye might not take his words seriously but he wanted to be clear with Dr. Si as he had already heard that Dr. Si wouldn't treat those couples who would give up half-way.

While Lee Xuiye was not happy that Mo Lingtan had cleared his intention with Dr. Si. It was a deal between both of them, she didn't want to involve Dr. Si as she didn't have the intention to give up at all.
