338 Try To Make Up! Part-3

"What happened? Is she here?" Lu Yichen came up and asked.

An hour had passed and Li Yan didn't show up, Lu Yichen got worried and came up.

"She is here but she didn't listen to me." Li Yan helplessly replied.

"She must be scared of you. Why don't you come another day?" Lu Yichen suggested, to which Li Yan objected. 

"No! She is badly injured. She needs a doctor's treatment."

"But you can't do anything if she doesn't come out. Listen let's go home. If you stay here and people recognize you, you will be in trouble. I will let my men stay here and inform us as soon as there are any updates."

"No! I can't go like this...she is badly injured and very scared of me." Now Li Yan didn't want to leave, especially after seeing her bad situation.

He was the cause of it and he couldn't overlook it.

"What do you suggest then?" Lu Yichen asked.

"Call a female doctor and locksmith. I need to go inside." 

"Alright!"

Soon, Li Yan unlocked the door of Su Wan's house and then her door with the help of a locksmith and entered with a female doctor and Lu Yichen.

The bed was empty but Li Yan knew that Su Wan was inside her house and sure enough, she was sitting on the cold floor at the corner.

Li Yan didn't want to scare her off but he couldn't let go like that. He quietly went towards her in case he would scare her off again and softly called out "Su Wan…"

But she didn't respond back. Not even to scream at him. He lightly shook her shoulders and her body fell forward, luckily Li Yan caught her immediately. 

Su Wan was passed out and her body was burning like fire. 

Li Yan immediately held her up and put her down on the bed and let the female doctor treat her.

Su Wan's condition was far more serious than he saw from outside the door. He was wondering how did she come back to her home?

It was all his fault!

Even if she would have given him the drug, he shouldn't behave like this breast with her. 

Now even if she would forgive him, he couldn't forgive himself.

The doctor had treated Su Wan and came out to give instructions to Li Yan "I have bandaged her injuries but she needs five IV drips. I have attached one, you just have to change it once it finishes. Make sure you look after it. Call me when she wakes up, I will come again to check on her."

"Thank you doctor but please make sure word won't go out" Li Yan respectively warned her.

"Don't worry Mr. Li, you can trust me." The doctor said as she knew the status of Li Yan.

After the doctor left, Lu Yichen also stood up to leave. "Okay, I am also leaving, let me know if you need some help."

"Thanks for your help!" Li Yan was really thankful for Lu Yichen if he wouldn't have been with him, he didn't know what to do and how to do it.

After, Li Yan went to check on Su Wan whose body was covered with bandages. She must have gone through pain. Li Yan helplessly sighed and sat beside her bed.

The sky was starting to turn bright as the darkness from the night had gone, but in Li Yan's life more darkness had been added, again all thanks to Lin Shashi. 

Subconsciously, Li Yan's sight went to the photo frame placed on the side table. It was a photo of Su Wan and an old lady. If he remembered correctly the old lady must be the adopted mother of Su Wan who was no longer in this world.

Li Yan still remembered that Su Wan hadn't attended her classes during the entire month when her adopted mother passed away. Now she didn't have anyone in this world.

Unknowingly Li Yan envied her, at least she could do anything she wanted to do in her life without having people who would force her to do things as per their accord.

But...perhaps...she was not also happy living alone.

The entire day, Su Wan didn't wake up and Li Yan stayed beside her to look after her.

The next morning, Su Wan woke up while groaning in pain which caught Li Yan's attention. As soon as Su Wan looked around and found that she was in her room but she saw him, she immediately moved back which caused her more pain but she could care less about it. She just wanted to move away from Li Yan…far away.

"Please...let me go...I didn't give you the drug...I swear…" Su Wan begged him and was moving away from Li Yan.

Li Yan's heart sank in guilt from which he tried to overcome it. 

"I know...I know… and I am sorry...I was drugged and that waitress had said that you had sent those wines so I thought...I am so sorry...please...don't be scared of me...I mean no harm to you…I just want to help you." Li Yan softly explained to her.

"I don't want your help….go away from me…" No matter whether Li Yan was drugged or not, she was the person who was hurt and now she was scared of him.

"Su Wan...Please...listen to me...you are injured...let me help you...please...I won't harm you…"

"No! Just go! I don't need your help. Leave me alone!" Su Wan yelled and continued to cry out.

Li Yan knew that no matter what he would do to help her, he had hurt her so she wouldn't accept his help. Therefore, he decided to leave.

"Okay! I'll leave. This is my card, just call me if you need any help."

"I don't need your help. Just leave!"
