370 Hmph! Spoiler of the joy.

"But this gown is for the photoshoot. Where is my actual wedding gown?" Lee Xuiye asked as she knew that Mo Lingtan had prepared two gowns for her.

"That's a surprise. You will get it on the day of our wedding." Mo Lingtan replied to which she responded back with only 'ohhh' and helplessly sighed. Now the bubble of excitement started forming in her heart for their wedding and especially to see her wedding gown.

Only twenty-five days were left.

Afterward, everyone got busy packing up that no one had given attention to Lee Xuiye's extra sensitivity and because of this lack of observation, they were missing out on the great news for which the couple was waiting for so long.

Later, Mo Reng was also insisting to come with them. Lee Xuiye had softened her heart and was about to allow him but Mo Lingtan rejected his insistence without any second thought.

Therefore, Mo Lingtan left along with Lee Xuiye with a smug smile on his face while heartlessly left Mo Reng behind under the care of Song Zhilan whose eyes were swollen red seeing his father had taken away his mama.

With that, Lee Xuiye and Mo Lingtan had flown directly to Los Angeles as before their wedding photoshoot, Mo Lingtan wanted her to meet someone.

When they reached Los Angeles, it was already midnight so the couple had gone to bed after a round of 'battle'.

Then the next day, Mo Lingtan had taken Lee Xuiye to meet Li Yan and Su Wan.

"Li Yan and Su Wan? You must be joking. How come they are together? Did I miss something?" Lee Xuiye confusingly asked when Mo Lingtan told her that they were going to meet Li Yan and Su Wan and they were now a married couple.

It was a piece of shocking news and she didn't even get a hint about it.

It seemed that she had missed out on a lot of things and Mo Lingtan had filled her lack of information starting from Li Yan and Su Wan's night in the hotel till present life.

Lee Xuiye was startled to hear about Li Yan and Su Wan. She didn't know much about Su Wan except hello and bye and that was only in their college days but she had heard about Su Wan's confession to Li Yan as well as Li Yan's rejection. At that time, she had felt that Su Wan would be a better life partner for Li Yan than Lin Shashi.

However, Lee Xuiye couldn't force her opinion on Li Yan so she didn't bother with them back then. But now she seemed to be bothered with them as she knew that Mo Lingtan had something in his mind that was why they were going to meet them.

"What is on your mind?" Lee Xuiye suspiciously asked Mo Lingtan to which he responded by flashing her a mischievous smile.

"You are a smart woman. You know what to do once you meet them." Mo Lingtan said with a hidden meaning.

"I thought you always considered me dumb." Lee Xuiye suddenly said as she narrowed her eyes.

"This is your delusion and you will fall very badly because of this. Hmph!" Lee Xuiye harrumphed and looked outside the car while ignoring him.

"Really? Then I am sure my wife won't let me fall with her intelligence." Mo Lingtan didn't let her ignore him and pulled her in his embrace and kissed on her nape which caused shivers to swarm in her body.

"You...Go away!" Lee Xuiye tremblingly pushed him away but she knew that she couldn't escape from his clutch.

With that, their sweet fight continued until they reached Li Yan's house. It was still early in the morning and the couple hadn't had their breakfast. Instead, Mo Lingtan had brought breakfast while coming here.

'Ding...Ding…'

Li Yan and Su Wan didn't know that they would have guests early that morning. When Li Yan opened the door he was startled to see them as well as Mo Lingtan.

Mo Lingtan immediately stood in front of his wife so that she couldn't see any other man only in shorts. Even Li Yan shut the door in the face of Mo Lingtan.

'Thud!'

Everything happened in a matter of one minute that Lee Xuiye was oblivious to what these men were trying to do.

"What happened?" Lee Xuiye tried to peek in front of Mo Lingtan but he didn't budge from his position and let her see anyone.

But before Mo Lingtan could say anything, Li Yan opened the door after swiftly dressing up in a proper manner, and then only Mo Lingtan moved aside.

"What are you doing here early in the morning?" Li Yan flusteredly asked while rubbing his eyes and yawning.

"Why? Are you unhappy to see us here?" Mo Lingtan unhappily asked and walked inside the house with Lee Xuiye.

"No! I mean...you should have called me before coming here. I would have prepared breakfast or something for you guys." Li Yan hurriedly explained.

"No need for that! We have already bought breakfast. Go and freshen up. And where is Su Wan?" Lee Xuiye asked while holding up the packages of breakfast to show him.

"Aa...she is still sleeping. I will go and wake her up." Li Yan embarrassingly smiled and swiftly took his pillow and blanket from the couch and went upstairs to wake up Su Wan.

Though Li Yan was quick to hide the pillow and blanket behind him, Mo Lingtan and Lee Xuiye had sharp eyes that nothing could hide from them.

Mo Lingtan and Lee Xuiye exchanged a look and understood what Lee Xuiye had exactly to do.

Soon, Li Yan and Su Wan came down while in the meantime, Mo Lingtan and Lee Xuiye had already set up breakfast on the table and took a look around Li Yan and Su Wan's house.

It was a small one-bedroom house with a small garden in the backyard.

Afterward, everyone was happily chit-chatting during the breakfast about Mo Lingtan and Lee Xuiye's wedding and other things with occasional banters of Mo Lingtan and Lee Xuiye with each other but it didn't overlook their love for each other which brought a flush of envy in Su Wan's eyes.

Su Wan never had anyone in her life to take care of her. When she was born, her parents had left in front of an orphanage letting her live alone. Afterward, when she was twelve, a lady had adopted her but dismally, God had taken her away when she was sixteen. 

Since then she had always been alone. Though now she had Li Yan as her husband and he had been taking care of her very well but she knew the reason behind his care was not love but a pang of guilt for what he had done to her.

When she confessed her feelings to Li Yan, she thought that she would live a blissful life with him but his rejection had dashed all her dreams that even when he was with her as her husband, she knew that she wouldn't live the life which she had dreamt of.

Su Wan, in her jealousy, didn't notice the envy in Lee Xuiye's eyes. Su Wan had a blessing for which Lee Xuiye was yearning.

Although Lee Xuiye didn't let anyone notice it, Mo Lingtan had noticed how longingly Lee Xuiye had been looking at Su Wan and especially towards her belly.

Though Lee Xuiye didn't say anything, her hope to become pregnant had been crusting with the passage of time and her heart as well.

Afterward, Li Yan and Mo Lingtan left to visit Li Yan's new office leaving the ladies behind at the home or in Mo Lingtan's words, leaving his smart wife to do things to help their friend, Li Yan.

"So how's your job going?" Lee Xuiye asked while walking beside Su Wan as they thought to take a walk around the park which was set up near Li Yan and Su Wan's house.

"It's going well but sometimes they give extra work and considering my current condition, it's tiring. So Yan is suggesting that I quit it and join his company to help him." Su Wan replied.

"Well, it's not a bad idea."

"Hmm...I am thinking about it." Su Wan gave a small reply as she didn't want to talk about it but it didn't mean Lee Xuiye would let it go as she understood Su Wan's turmoil regarding her relationship with Li Yan.
