387 Danger! Part-2

Since Mother Li came to stay with Li Yan and Su Wan, Li Yan had brought a new big house for them. Now he was living the life which he had dreamt of since long.

A happy life with his mother and wife.

Things between Li Yan and Su Wan were also getting much better, the distance between them on the bed had reduced and now Li Yan hugged his wife every night and slept soundly. Though he wanted to take things a little further, he had to respect her wishes. Thus, he had decided to wait until she completely trusted him.

Su Wan was also trying to get rid of her fear from that night in order to live a happy life with Li Yan like a normal couple. Besides, the presence of Mother Li was a great help for her to ease her heart, especially during this time of her pregnancy, when her emotions were overly sensitive.

Mother Li was now showing her the love and care which she had always yearned for. Thus, being a cry baby since childhood, Su Wan's eyes were moist most of the time throughout the day. 

Mother Li's heart ached for her daughter-in-law hence, she had been treating Su Wan with more love and care as if Su Wan was her biological daughter and Li Yan was her son-in-law.

Of course, Li Yan was displeased with this treatment and felt jealous of Su Wan. Sometimes, he thought about what would happen once his child would arrive in this world. His mother would dote on the child more, then when would he get his chance?

Perhaps...Never!

But Li Yan disregarded his unhappiness when he saw how much his mother was happy with Su Wan.

Mother Li always liked to do household work and make her home a paradise but Father Li was an ambitious person. Thus, he was expecting the same from his wife. Unfortunately for him, Mother Li didn't share his ambitions and desires. Thus he never showed any respect to her. Considering her status in the family, Lin Shashi also never treated her with any respect.

However, Su Wan was different!

Though everyone was lacking in something, they were living a good life.

"Good Morning Mom!" Su Wan came downstairs and greeted her mother-in-law.

"Xiao Wan, you have woken up. Give me two minutes, I will set your breakfast." Mother Li immediately rushed to the kitchen to get breakfast ready for her daughter-in-law.

"It's okay Mom. I can make my breakfast." 

"Why? Don't you like my cooking?" Mother Li worriedly asked.

"Yes, she has set the kitty party at her home but that is in the evening. Till then I am free so you don't need to worry about me. I don't like to sit idle all day besides, I love cooking. In fact, I am thinking that you have been tiring yourself with the office work and you should rest more, especially now." Previously in city B, Mother Li never cooked because Father Li never liked it nor did she have any friends, all thanks to Father Li who constantly judged what kind of people she met. Thus, in the end, she had stopped meeting her friends which eventually made her lose contact with all her friends.

However, now things were different. Now there was no Father Li here. Therefore, Mother Li could make friends with anyone whom she wanted and could cook whenever she felt like it.

"Don't worry, Mom. I am perfectly alright. Besides, Yan has already reduced my workload. It's already 10 am and see I am still here." Su Wan replied with a smile.

"So what? You are the lady boss of our company. You can go to work whenever you feel like it. If Xiao Yan says something to you, let me know, I will teach him a lesson!" Mother Li wouldn't hesitate to smack her son if he dared to bully her daughter-in-law.

"Okay, Mom!"

After that, Su Wan had a hearty breakfast with her mother-in-law and left for the office.

"Xiao Wan, don't forget to call me once you reach the office." Mother Li said while seeing off Su Wan in the cab.

"Sure Mom. Bye! Enjoy your kitty pretty!" The cab slowly drove off and soon disappeared into the crowd of cars.

Due to pregnancy, Su Wan always felt sleepy especially when she was sitting idle. Thus, it didn't take long before her eyelids turned heavy and she dozed off.

This was human nature. When life is peaceful, he is always caught off guard but unexpectedly something bad would happen because of the constant cheer and joy masking the darkness.

Su Wan was no different. She didn't notice that the cab had been driving to another unknown route until it came to halt at the unknown place.

"Hello, Su Wan!" A sweet voice disrupted Su Wan's sleep.

Su Wan opened her eyes drowsy eyes with a thought that she had reached to the office but...

No!

Why was her surrounding looked so different?

Where was she?

Su Wan instantly got alter and then she found an unexpected person in front of her in the car.
