"Nothing." Su Wan smiled mysteriously and continued to look at her husband who couldn't hide his true emotions within him.

Actually, Father Li was the role model of Li Yan since his childhood like any other child whose role model was their father.

Father Li was the best businessman in Li Yan's eyes who took Li Corporation to immense heights right from the scratch.

However, things changed when Father Li forced Li Yan to get engaged with Lin Shashi, and thereafter, his behavior towards him and Mother Li had changed for the worse with each passing day.

Now Father Li had changed his behavior again and this time, he had changed for good, just like before he had forced him to get engaged with Lin Shashi.

Thus, it had been proving to be difficult for Li Yan to be indifferent towards Father Li when the latter continued to be nice and sweet with the former every day; not only with him but also with Su Wan; in fact, it was more on Su Wan.

Now Su Wan was getting all the affection from his mother and father while he was left to burn in envy. The situation was getting quite awkward at the same time as he had been seeing the things which he had dreamt of but never dared to expect that dream to turn into reality someday.

A dream where his father and mother were living happily with him and his wife.

Though he had been continuing to maintain his indifferent attitude, his mother couldn't do the same and forgave Father Li after a few days of Father Li being caring towards her.

It was a good thing that Father Li continued to be good towards Mother Li even after she forgave him and now she was feeling content with her life and had a wish to go back to Country X but since Li Yan continued to wish to stay here, she hesitated.

Everyone kept their mouth shut and didn't force Li Yan as per their wish which included Su Wan's wish also.

Though they didn't force him, their longing eyes were indirectly creating pressure on him just like how Su Wan was looking at him at that moment.

"Are you not happy here?" Li Yan asked while sitting beside her and subconsciously wrapped his arm around her waist.

Su Wan was now getting used to his closeness and didn't seem to be afraid of him anymore.

Perhaps, since he saved her and confessed his love for her, her heart was now settling and beating for him though she didn't reveal her feelings for him yet.

"I am happy but I will be more happy if we stay in our home country." Su Wan didn't hide her true intentions.

"Okay!" With his simple reply, their conversation was about to end like always as he loosened his grip around her wrist but she suddenly wrapped her arms around him and stopped him. "Lee Xuiye and Mo Lingtan are going to get married next week, don't you want to go to their wedding?"

Su Wan frowned hearing his response. It was the first time that she was witnessing the weak side of Li Yan, her husband who always stood strong and calmly in a very difficult situation.

Though Su Wan didn't spend many decades or years with him. However, in one month and so, she was beginning to understand his nature a little bit. She realized that he always showed his strength and never his weakness.

Even in their new company, Li Yan was calmly handling all the difficult situations as if he wasn't scared of anything.

However, now she realized that she was wrong. There was a thing that caused fear in Li Yan's heart.

Su Wan continued to stay silent and waited for him to continue.

"Wan...I am scared...that I will lose everything...once I go back to Country X...I will lose everything...you...mother...father and your smile, mother's smile which I have never seen before...and…" Li Yan hesitated to continue but Su Wans coaxed him in order for him to open up, "And?"

He continued " And father's care...I don't want to lose these things."

Su Wan's crystal clear eyes were showing her surprise that she knew that the family was important to Li Yan but she didn't expect that it was that much important to him that it turned into a fear in his heart.

Fear of losing them.

He was ready to live far away from his home country, his friends who were important to him and leaving a big company like Li Corporation, he was ready to work for a small company just to have his family be happy and together.

Su Wan didn't know that her strong-looking man had such a weak heart for his family in which she was also included, even her smile.

So how could Su Wan not love her weak-hearted man?

Su Wan held his face from the sides and said in a firm voice, "I will never leave you."

She didn't know about Mother Li and Father Li but she knew that she wanted to spend her whole life with this man.

Li Yan knew that she was just saying such things to comfort him as he had revealed his weak side to her which he never did before.

However, Li Yan was wrong. She meant it which she proved by covering his lips with hers.
