Chapter 347 - SAME FATE COULD NOT HAPPEN TWICE

This wasn't the firs time that Song Dei Si enter her feet inside the Tan's Mansion. She was here when she attended Tan Ja Nin 18th birthday party. Nothing much has change on its appearance thru the year. The mansion was well-maintained. 

The servants at the Tan's Mansion gave a warm welcome smile to them. Those who were serving the Tans over the years have already known the Yans. You can see the happiness on their faces when they saw them again in the Tan's Mansion. 

"Good evening Master and Madam Yan! Young Master and.."the butler made a short pause when his eyes landed on Song Dei Si.

"Young Madam. She's Yan Mor Tee's wife." Master Yan told the butler. 

The butler greeted Song Dei Si with respect "Good Evening, Young Madam." He could not take his eyes off her because she was quite looks familiar. 

And then Ho Min Lin came and was so excited to see Song Dei Si.

"Bestfriend!" She said as she hugged Song Dei Si. 

So this was also the Tan's Young Mistress bestfriend? The butler said to himself. 

Song Dei Si hugged her besftriend back and smiled at Tan Ji Nan who was behind her. 

"Good evening Uncle, Auntie!" Tan Ji Nan greeted the old couple.

Ho Min Lin greeted the old couple too. "Apologies Uncle and Auntie, I wasn't able to greet you first!" 

Madam Yan flashed a smile on her face. "That's okay, I know how excited you are to see your bestfriend again." 

"Well as if they haven't seen each other for ages. They were together few days ago!" Yan Mor Tee snorted. Sometimes, she really hates Ho Min Lin for snatching her wife's time away from him.

"True. If these two has given an opportunity, it's possible that they married each other instead!" Tan Ji Nan said with a tinge of jealousy on his voice.

Madam Yan laughed "You two, stop being jealous. It just normal for two female bestfriend to treat each other as their wives." 

"Yeah, just like you and your bestfriend." Master Tan said.

"Speaking of my bestfriend, where's your mom, Ji Nan?" Madam Yan asked.

"They were already at the backyard. C'mon let's go, they are waiting for you!" Tan Ji Nan answered and took the lead. 

"Is Ja Nin's here?" Song Dei Si asked Ho Min Lin in a low voice that only she can hear. 

"Not yet." Ho Min Lin answered. "She said she's coming."

"Yeah, I texted her earlier and she said she'll be here. How's your husband now?" Song Dei Si asked. 

"He is still sulking. But I'm pretty sure he will be glad to see Tan Ja Nin here." 

Yan Mor Tee turned around at the two women who were mumbling with each other and snatched his wife away from Ho Min Lin. 

The two women eyes widened in disbelief.

Petty Young Master. 

Madam Tan excitedly welcomed the Yan's family when she saw them. Master Tan who was busy preparing the grill with the helper stopped with was his doing to greet them. 

Madam Tan and Madam Yan took a corner to chitchat while Song Dei Si, Yan Mor Tee, Tan Ji Nan and Ho Min Lin sat at the table. But before Yan Mor Tee sat beside Song Dei Si, he tapped his father shoulder to go ahead and approach Master Tan. 

Master Tan who went back to the grill and continue with what he was doing earlier. He started putting some meat already. 

Master Yan put some meat at the grill too.

"I'm glad were able to do this again." Master Yan said. They always had a BBQ night either at the Tans Mansion or Yans Mansion when their relationship was still good. 

Master Tan took two cans of beer at the bar table and gave one to Master Yan. 

"It's not too late to do this again until the sunset of our lives." he said as he raised the can bottle that he was holding. 

Master Yan raised his bottle too and nodded. They do not to say anything else to each other because they knew that from that very moment they have just revive the friendship that never been lost. It was set aside but never vanished. 

And just like what bestfriends always does that even if they didn't talk for years or seen other they always picked up where they left off. 

Master Tan looked at his wife and Madam Yan as they happily chatted. "I'm sure they are chatting where to buy the latest signature items again." 

Master Yan laughed "Agree. And we will never get tires giving them their shopping money." 

"How are you and Xiao Yi?" Master Tan asked. 

"Our relationship got better." Master Yan answered

"Have you already confessed your true feelings to her?" 

Master Yan nodded "I can't believe that we have the same feelings towards each other from the beginning." 

Master Tan scoffed "I told you so, she wouldn't marry you at such a young age if she didn't have feelings for you even if it just an arranged marriage." 

Master Yan nodded, they can always back out from the arrange marriage but both of them did not even try. It was because deep inside, both of them have the same secret affection towards each other. It was just so sad that Yan Mor Tee and Tan Ja Nin's fate wasn't the same as him and his wife.

"Same fate could not happen twice, now I realized that. The success in your arranged marriage would not be the same if we married off our children. I'm glad you broke off the engagement." Master Tan said after awhile. He looked at the table where his son and his friends were seated. He saw how Yan Mor Tee looked at Song Dei Si. Full of adoracion which he never did when Yan Mor Tee was looking at his daugther. 

"You spare Tan Ja Nin's heart to be broken apart to the point that she could never pick it up again" 

"Where's your daughter by the way?"
