Chapter 350 - POP’S NEW FAVORITE

Song Dei Si was preparing to leave the mansion for an early trip to the country side with Yan Mor Tee and her in-laws to visit Old Master Gu when her phone rang. 

She knitted her brows when she saw Ho Min Lin's name flashed on her mobile phone screen and it was not just a phone call but a video call. 

It was 6:30AM, why would her bestfriend call her at this early and on a Sunday morning? Isn't she supposed to be still sleeping at this hour?

"Hello!" Said Song Dei Si when she picked up the call.

"Song Dei Si!!!!" Ho Min Lin scream and her pretty face flashed on the screen.

Song Dei Si furrowed her browsed again when she noticed that Ho Min Lin wasn't at home. "Where you at?" 

"Guess what, I'm here at the airport right now!" 

Ho Min Lin said and put the camera to the person next to her. 

"You're going on a trip with Tan Ji Nan? Thought you're about to come back working starting tomorrow?" Song Dei Si asked.

"We've extended our honeymoon leave for 1 week, because we're going to have our real honeymoon!" Ho Min Lin said. "We're about to board the plane that will be taking us to Maldives in about 10 minutes from now."

"Wow! Maldives!!!" Song Dei Si could not help but get excited for her bestfriend too. 

"Uhm! And I just can't wait!" 

"Mrs Yan let's go!" Song Dei Si heard her husband voice calling her out. 

"I've heard Yan Mor Tee's voice. You're also going somewhere?" Ho Min Lin asked.

"We're going to visit grandfather. It's been a while since we have been to his villa at the coastal area. Mom and Dad will travel with us too." 

"Oh okay, so bye for now then, I've just called to say that we're going to the place where our first child will be made!" Ho Min Lin said, she was giggling as she said it. 

Song Dei Si laughed too "Goodluck then! Bye!" She hang up the call and went inside the car. Her husband and her in-laws were already there and they were just waiting for her. 

"Who were you talking to?" Asked Yan Mor Tee. Wasn't it too early for a phone call? 

"Who else could be calling me at this hour?" She said.

"Min Lin?!" Yan Mor Tee asked as he started to drive. 

"Uhm!"

"Why would she called you at this hour?" 

"She called to say that they were about to board a plane that will take them to Maldives" 

"Maldives?"

"Yes, they were going for a real honeymoon!" 

"Woah!" Yan Mor Tee was quite excited too for them. And then thought of something "Why don't we go to Maldives too for another honeymoon?!" 

Song Dei Si got excited too. "For real?!"

"Just tell me you want to and I can ask PA Su to arrange everything." 

Song Dei Si can't contain her happiness until she remembers "But I still have a class, and it's crunch time now since approaching the final stretch." She said as she pouted. 

"Then we can go for another honeymoon trip when your class is over!" He also wanted to have some alone time with his wife. They have been married for 8 months now so going on another honeymoon trip will be a good opportunity to make a baby. He can't deny it but he really wanted to see a little Mor Tee. 

"Okay!" Song Dei Si said. 

"Madam Yan, why don't we go on another honeymoon trip too?" Master Yan who was sitting at the back seat asked his wife.

Madam Yan hit his arms! "Honeymoon at our age?!" 

Yan Mor Tee laughed and looked at his father at the rear view mirror "I'll support you Dad, go ahead and have another honeymoon trip with mom." 

"Thanks son!"

The Old Master Gu was already outside the door waiting for them when they arrived.

"Pops! What are you doing outside your door? How long have you been standing here waiting for us?" Yan Mor Tee asked, he could not help but felt worried for his grandfather. They have reached the villa around 8:30 in the morning. 

"I haven't been standing here for a long time." Said Old Master Gu."

"You sure Dad? You keep on calling me on our way here asking where we at? Hope you're not standing here as you made those calls." Madam Yan said

"Sun at this hour in the morning is still good" The Old Master Gu snorted. 

Song Dei Si smiled. She knows where her husband got his reasonings. He was like his grandfather, even if he knew that he already make a mistake he can always find a way to justify it.

She hugged Old Master Gu "Pops!" 

"My lovely grand daughter-in-law. You getting more beautiful as days goes by. Let's go inside, I have something for you." 

Yan Mor Tee "..."

Does this old man stood outside the door because he was too excited to see her wife again?

And what did he say? He has something for his wife?!

He followed his grandfather and his wife as they entered the house.

"How about me Pops? Do you have something for me?"said Yan Mor Tee, acting like a 10 years old boy jealous of his sister because of the attention she got. 

"What else should you need. You have everything?!" 

Yan Mor Tee "..."

Master Yan and Madam Yan could not help but smile as they trail behind them. 

The Old Man's favorite was no longer Yan Mor Tee and they felt bad for their son's fate. 

Old Master Gu has a habit of spoiling his favorite by giving them gifts. They wonder what gift she was about to give to Song Dei Si this time. 

Old Master Gun went straight to the living area and ask his Butler to get the gift at his room. 

"Pops, you don't need to give me anything." Song Dei Si said. She felt shy with the attention she was getting from the old man. Imagine, she was the only one who has a present from him. 

Madam Yan tapped her shoulder telling her that it was okay and just enjoy all the privileges.
