Chapter 69 - Origin Stones!

Origin Stones.

There was a story among the people of the Tower that the one who created the Tower was a powerful person who could destroy worlds on a whim and create miracles of his will. It was said that he was a being who overcame time, space, and death. He was pictured as a man with Eleven stones hovering around him.

They were called the Eleven Origin Stones.

What happened to that man or where he was, nothing about him was ever known to the people but what they knew was that that person scattered the Elven Origin stones all around the Tower by creating secret trials for the one who is worthy of wielding them.

It has been millions of years since the man disappeared and gradually the tale about the Origin stones faded into a folktale.

It was not known if the Origin stones had found their owners or not. Where they are? What are their powers? And why did 'That person' Scattered them all around the Tower? Nothing was known.

{You can't imagine the Power of an Origin Stone} The words of the Old Sage echoed in his ears, Shiva pondered while riding on the black of Ugram's head 'Are the stones really that powerful?'

{I have seen it, The Origin stone to be specific 'The Time stone', The absolute one is in possession of that}

One of the Eleven Origin stones had found its owner!

{He transcended the concept of time with the help of the 'Time stone'}

{He became an entity who could live in Past, present, and future}

The Old sage's admiration worlds constantly resounded in his mind.

Shiva was pondering about his words thinking 'how could a person live in the past, present, and future?'

gradually he thought about the 'Soul stone', about which he had gotten a clue.

'Then what is the Power of the Soul Stone?'

Tony, who managed to hack the Tower and lost everything, also got some information that could make him a big shot, just relaying this information to any of the big guilds could have made his life easier, he could have enjoyed at least the position of an elder on the major guilds with nothing to do for his whole life, but he chose something else.

He was a maniac who was obsessed with machines, his hunger for discovering the principle behind the 'Golem core' made him think of everything else as inferior.

Golem core was indeed an amazing item but it was nothing when compared to Origin stones.

'He is a one, who has gone beyond the realm of obsession for machines'

Shiva understood this in his life with Tony in the past three months, all those three months he saw nothing but Tony working with his mech and sketching a blueprint of something. if it wasn't for needing to eat to maintain his energy he would have settled inside the workshop itself. He was beyond obsessed with machines, proof of that was his prosthetic metal limbs that made a cracking sound whenever he did something.

"There lies a Stone where the Tower ascends, in the bosom of Earth and the care of nature. That which could devore the formless lies within the depth of the darkness which is isolated from the light of the World"

It was a message in the form of a puzzle that Tony told him, even though Tony was a genius he couldn't understand what it meant and he didn't want to understand what it meant too because all it mattered for him was the Golem cores.

'I traded three golem cores with him and told him that I will give him three more if he helps me find it but-'

He looked towards the side where Tony was sitting on the bone dragon while holding a pencil and something like a blueprint in his hand.

'It seems like he had no intention of leaving my side in the first place

Tony after trade with shiva got himself busy with the research he doesn't even bother to ask Shiva anything about how he got it or something else. But after a day he came to Shiva saying,

"Make a deal with me, I will make a most powerful machine for you so support me monetarily"

It seemed like he was short on KP, but promise to give his work to Shiva….

'He is just obsessed with making it not using it'

He thought seeing him, who was now scrubbing the pencil on blueprint again.

'But that will work for my advantage'

Shiva smiled slightly as the sides of his mouth curled upwards!

He had essentially gained another slave for him to make machines in this way.

'But the problem is…'

Shiva looked towards the weird clown man whom he didn't like to talk with due to his annoying character.

'I can't trust him' He was fine besides Tony, who was a machine maniac, and Anna, with whom he has signed a blood pact.

But this man was an exception, he neither asked for anything from Shiva nor did he do anything suspicious, which was suspicious in itself.

'He is not dumb like those two…'

Shiva was right, Kannada was not a fool if anything he was a genius, a genius who could plan things before even the war began.

'Anyway he is weak, let's just make Karna keep an eye on him'

Saying so he looked towards a pitch-black crow that was leading in front.

'That was a good skill to have'

It was Karna's class-specific skill that made it possible for him to transform into a crow. There were many uses for the skill, be it in spying or escaping.

As for solving the puzzle, he had the Sage with him so what is there to think about.

{There lies a Stone where the Tower ascends….it means where the tower starts, that place must be on 1st floor}

As expected of a great sage he was deciphering the puzzle bit by bit.

{bosom of Earth and the care of nature….It must be in a forest, pay more attention to any underground caves}

{That which could devore the formless lies within the depth of the darkness which is isolated from the light of the World….I need to look at the places to confirm some more}

Shiva understood as he asked Karna,

"Karna, dispatch the Shadows to 1st floor, I need information about all the large forests and tell them to especially look for any large underground caves and I want it to proceed secretly"

The last thing he wanted now was to get the attention of the big guild so he asked for the shadows to work in the dark.

"Yes, my lord"

The Crow which Karna transformed into split into ten or so small crows as each traveled in a different direction.

'And until they finish searching…'

He turned his head looking at the beautiful woman sitting on the backbone of the dragon, her white hair was swaying in air which gave a boost to her beauty.

'Ah! I really need to refrain from looking at her.'

{Our boy is thinking of naughty things huh?}, The Old sage playfully said as he sensed Shiva's face turning slightly red.

{Disgusting pervert} Nicholas was also back to normal cursing Shiva for every single thing that he did.

He ignored them as he opened his status window seeing the blank space of his main skill,

'I want to choose the best summon for this slot'

All his previous summons are forced to be summoned or by curiosity he summoned them, but he didn't want to repeat that mistake again and wanted to clearly chose the best body for this summon.

'It had to be at least stronger than Virupa'

Even though Virupa was strong but when compared with Kapali, Ugram, and Bhima he was weak, so he wanted his next summon to be at least more powerful than Virupa.

'Ah!! There are so many things to do, damn it! That's why I need more servants!'

Now that was the reason he made Karna his servant in the first place he was too lazy to do all the work by himself.

"Anyway, let's take a short nap"

Like that he fell asleep on the Bone dragon dreaming about a hot nig.... *beep* *beeeeeeeep*….
