The moment Chu Yang and Qing Yi stepped off the small boat, Huang Yongyu suddenly rushed over from a small bench located just beside the area where the small boats going to and from the Pure Heart Island were docked.

Listening to what Qing Yi said, both Chu Yang and Huang Yongyu starred at each other blankly for a short moment a look of realization appeared on both their faces.

That's right! If the Flying Sword Sect lend a hand to the River Sect, it would be easy to solve the problem of the Ghost Howl Sect and other sects slowly moving into the River Sect's territory!

As Chu Yang happily agreed to Qing Yi's suggestion and Huang Yongyu bowed his head. Not clearly believing that two disciple would be able to do something like convincing their sect to help out his sect.

A loud explosion could be heard as a man covered in a completely black robe angrily stomped the ground with all his strength only a short distance away from the entrance to the Pure Heart City with a communication talisman in hand.

A low yet furious voice filled with killing intent could be heard coming from beneath the black robe covering the man's body as the few people unfortunate enough to be entering the Pure Heart City at the moment all began trembling in fear under the terrifying aura slowly beginning to spread out with the man covered the black robes at the centre.

The person in question was the Sect Master of the Ghost Howl Sect, who had hurried towards the Pure Heart Island where his son had been schemed against by someone. Only for the said people to have somehow escaped right under their noses.

Apparently, they had just been spotted by one of the Ghost Howl Sects disciples inside the Pure Heart City making their way off one of the small boats.

The main reason why the disciple had even recognised them in the first place, was because he was out searching for the group of three who had pretended to be part of the Ghost Howl Sect to sneak into the Pure Heart City…

When the disciple had confronted the group after one of them had just left for somewhere else, the disciple asked them about them pretending to be disciples of his sect, when they had suddenly attacked him for no reason.

Followed by this, he had according to his own explanation 'fought valiantly before being knocked out by them in long drawn out fight'.

"So, they are still inside the Pure Heart City!?"

"I think so, Sect Master! But they might have already made their way out of the city and trying to run away."

"Good! Like this I can just use my divine sense to find those two easily, hehe, I never expected for it to be this easy!"

Putting away his communication talisman as an evil smile appeared on his lips, the man chuckled menacingly to himself before entering the Pure Heart City where he began using his divine sense to search for the three people who dared to plot against his Ghost Howl Sect.

"Kekeke, there you are!"

Whoosh~

Without a single guard daring to step forward to stop him, the sect master of the Ghost Howl Sect suddenly let out a wicked laughter before rushing back out of the gate before moving over towards a certain place located just outside the Pure Heart City.

Being someone at the Nascent Soul Realm, along with him having been given a decent description of how the group of three schemers looked, the sect master of the Ghost Howl Sect used close to no time before he locked onto their current position inside the Pure Heart City.

His first target being the group of two who had apparently just knocked out one of his sect disciples and were in the process of escaping from the Pure Heart City!

"Hehe, just you three wait! I will make sure my dear son can get his revenge on you himself!"

"Do you think the Ghost Howl Sect knows we left the Pure Heart Island…?" Looking down at a disciple from the Ghost Howl Sect that had just showed up to confront them about pretending to be member of the Ghost Howl Sect, Qing Yi could not help growing a bit anxious as she clearly knew that the Pure Heart City was mostly under the control of the Ghost Howl Sect and the other sects working against the River Sect.

"No need to worry so much! For now, we just need to leave the Pure Heart City before the Ghost Howl Sect returns from the Pure Heart Island… After all, given the fact that they are most likely there for something important, I doubt they would suddenly return just because of someone who pretended to be part of their sect knocking out their disciple! It's not like we killed any of their disciples…"

Trying his best to calm down Qing Yi, Chu Yang explained to her logically. No matter what, they clearly didn't harm the disciple too much and the Ghost Howl Sect should not take the matter too seriously.

At most they would send one of their Core Formation Realm Experts over to investigate what happened, but at that point Chu Yang and Qing Yi would both have long left the Pure Heart City!

Looking over at the unconscious disciple from the Ghost Howl Sect, Qing Yi shook her head before both of them hurriedly made their way towards the river Chu Yang had used to enter the Pure Heart City before.

Neither of them having any idea that the sect master of the Ghost Howl Sect was just about to reach the gate into the Pure Heart City at this point in time.

Jumping into the river upon seeing that nobody was around to spot them jumping in, Chu Yang looked back up at Qing Yi who hesitantly stared down at the very clearly contaminated river water. "With this we should be able to avoid the guards at the gate that might recognize us from our little stunt earlier!"

"But… Hah…" About to complain about their method out of the city, Qing Yi could only give up after seeing the Chu Yang already making his way towards the hole in the city wall for the river to flow through.

Jumping into the river water before following after Chu Yang, Qing Yi did her best to not think about how disgusting the river water inside the city walls were.

However, the sight of someone standing on a small pier along with the sound of water hitting water did not help in the slightest, as Qing Yi directly dived under the surface of the river before swimming after Chu Yang at speeds more similar to a fish than a human.

"Hah! Finally, out!"

Reaching the other side of the city wall, Qing Yi almost jumped out of the water before rushing to clean herself under the bewildered eyes of Chu Yang who soon appeared behind her.

"With this, we should at least be safe for now… Let's find the demon beast from the-"

Just as Qing Yi had finished cleaning up and Chu Yang was getting ready to search for the demon beast they had used to travel, a loud voice could suddenly be heard in the distance as both Qing Yi and Chu Yang watched in horror as a middle-aged man appeared in the distance.

Before they could even move to attempt escaping, the middle-aged man had already appeared directly in front of Chu Yang and Qing Yi.

Both Qing Yi and Chu Yang knew very well from the speed alone that the person in front of them was not someone they could escape from with their current strength!
