Chapter 132: Third Star Peak Summit

" Are you guys going to the Third Star Peak as well?" Walking up the steep mountain path towards the Third Star Peak, an elderly man came over from the side and asked curiously as he observed Xuan Hao and his two disciples.

While it was normal for people to come and visit the Third Peak, it was normally only people from the elderly generation that came to check out the place in case they needed to come there in the future to try and look for an opportunity to breakthrough.

Young people like Xuan Hao and his two disciples were a quite unusual sight for the elderly man as he wondered why these young ones would bother going all the way up the Third Star Peak.

"We are just here to enjoy the view and see the tallest reachable peak of the Shattered Star Peaks." Smiling kindly at the elderly man, Xuan Hao answered truthfully.

"Hm, I see. The view up there is indeed amazing, back when I visited for the first time, I even managed to gain a momentary enlightenment and have a breakthrough. Haha, I hope I will be as lucky as I was back then once again…" Wearing a slightly sad expression on his face, the elderly man shook his head a bit before he turned around and inspected Qing Yi and Chu Yang walking behind Xuan Hao.

"Are these two also going up the Third Star Peak? It might be dangerous for both of them, the qi up there is way more chaotic compared to the Ninth star Peak." The voice of the elderly man had turned a bit worried as he inspected Qing Yi and Chu Yang. It had to be known that the violent qi on top of the Third Star Peak was way more deadly than the Ninth Star Peak.

The elderly man thought that Xuan Hao and his two disciples might not be aware of this, so he kindly reminded them just in case.

"Haha, no need to worry about this! Both of them have already reached the Foundation Establishment Realm, so they should be fine if we just go up there for a quick look." Chuckling a bit upon seeing the worried look on the elderly man's face, Xuan Hao reassured him as he signalled for both of his disciples to release a bit of their aura to show the elderly man.

"How remarkable! The young ones will surely surpass the older ones with time, back then I had barely reached the middle stages of the Qi Condensation Realm!" Looking at both Qing Yi and Chu Yang filled with admiration, the elderly man shook his head a bit upon mentioning his own achievements back when he was around their age.

"They are indeed impressive! In the future they will become even more remarkable!" Feeling like he, himself was the one getting the praise from the old man, Xuan Hao happily joined in and began to praise his two disciples.

Qing Yi and Chu Yang both felt embarrassed upon hearing their master's praise for them and with a few nearby elderly cultivators joining in to praise the talented young people as well, Qing Yi and Chu Yang soon found themselves at the centre of attention for a group of elderly cultivators making their way to the Third Star Peak.

"Ah, I wish I could be so young and lively again! This boy reminds me of my younger days when I was still full of energy and fighting spirit!"

"Who are you fooling old Hu, you were so lazy back then! That is why you are still at the Core Formation Realm even to this day!"

"Haha, I remember back when the old master tried his best to get old Hu to cultivate but he just ended up running away and hiding at the nearby farm!"

"That's true, I still remember how lazy the rest of you were as well! Young ones, remember never to slack of or you will end up like this group of disappointments!" Motioning towards the group of elderly people that had gathered, the elderly man that had just praised them warned in a serious tone as he walked over join the other elderly people cursing at him from the side due to the warning, he gave Qing Yi and Chu Yang.

Xuan Hao did not say much as he watched the group of elderly people chat along with each other, cursing and laughing from time to time. Reminiscing about the old times.

"We should get going before it starts getting too late." Casting one last look at the elderly cultivators talking with each other, Xuan Hao motioned for his disciples to follow him as the group made their way up the Third Star Peak.

The path up the Third Star Peak was wide and had more than enough space for several people to walk beside one another.

Xuan Hao looked up at the place just in front of them where the end of the path was located where the summit of the Third Star Peak began.

Looking closely at the path, it almost seemed like it had just suddenly been cut in half as it just stopped. Not continuing onto the summit of the Third Star Peak.

In the past before the Star fell from the heavens and destroyed eight out of the nine Star Peaks. The path would have most likely stretched up to the top of the Third Star Peak.

What was located at the Peak of the Third Star Peak and the other Star Peaks in the past?

Whatever it was, it was clearly manmade.

Maybe there would be an answer at the top of the Main star Peak that still remained intact to this day.

"Master, a-are we at the summit now…?" An exhausted voice came from behind him as Xuan Hao looked over to see both of his disciples exhausted to the point of not being able to walk any further.

The Third Peak was truly tall to the extreme and even with their cultivation at the Foundation Establishment Realm, they found it difficult to climb.

"Yes, we are here, we can rest a bit at the summit before looking around." Saying that, Xuan Hao decided to carry both of his disciples the rest of the way as he waved his hand upon reaching the summit, causing a small stone bench to appear from the ground before settling his two disciples there to rest for a bit as he began to look around the Third Star Peak's summit himself.
