Chapter 251: Teaching Bai Ning

Standing together in front of the Sect Master's pavilion, Xuan Hao and Feng Chen listened attentively as Shu Yao talked about how they could deal with the Raging Flame Sect once and for all.

In the end, it was decided that Xuan Hao would hide his cultivation from the rest of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom for now.

During the time it would take for Shu Yao and Feng Chen to prepare for their attack against the Raging Flame Sect and thoroughly deal with them.

It had to be remembered that the Raging Flame Sect did not only have their main sect, but also had several branches spread out across the entire Heavenly Sky Kingdom.

Dealing with the Raging Flame Sect, meant dealing with the main sect and all their branches at once to prevent them from escaping and possibly taking revenge in the future.

The moment it got out that Xuan Hao had reached the Domain Lord Realm, the Raging Flame Sect was sure to scatter in all directions as they would try their best to run away before he showed up to destroy their sect and different branches!

"I will hurry back to the Spring Flower Sect and get some of our elders to come and help out, I should be back in around one week or so. We will move out at that time! Me and Feng Chen will handle the branches and Elder Xuan will deal with the main sect by himself!"

Stating this as a matter of fact, Shu Yao quickly turned around and disappeared into the distance.

Most likely making her way back towards the Spring Flower Sect as fast as she could.

"Well, I will return to my pavilion for now and check up with my disciples… By the way, can I trouble you to register a child named Bai Ning as my third disciple for me?"

"Haha, no problem at all! Something like that is simple, you can leave it to me!"

Looking at the departing figure of Shu Yao, Xuan Hao remembered that Bai Ning had not been registered as his personal disciple yet and turned to the sect master Feng Chen for assistance, which he was more than happy to provide.

"That's great! Thank you for the help, I will be returning to my pavilion for now… I will see you in a week or so when we take action against the Raging Flame Sect!"

Bowing his head slightly as a gesture of thanks, Xuan Hao turned around a flew back in the direction of his pavilion under the stunned gaze of the sect master Feng Chen.

He had clearly not expected to suddenly see Xuan Hao float up into the air as he soon flew away! Due to his shock, he didn't even get to say anything to him before he had already left…

Making his way back to his pavilion, Xuan Hao used his divine sense to scan over the training ground and discovered that both of his disciples were still sitting in a meditative position. Completely oblivious to the outside world as they remained focused on their cultivation.

Even the earlier commotion caused by him breaking through into the Domain Lord Realm, had not caused them to slip out of their current deep meditation.

Thinking about this, Xuan Hao felt like he would need to personally shake them awake to get them out of their current state. This was of course not something that he would do.

After all, their cultivation realm was improving by leaps and bounds as their aura continued to grow stronger and more stable with each passing minute.

"Hm… I should go and check up on Bai Ning and see how he is doing… After helping him reach the Qi Condensation Realm, I wonder how far he has gotten over the past few hours…"

Looking towards his pavilion, Xuan Hao landed a few meters away from the entrance as he made his way inside. Moving in the direction of Bai Ning's room, where he was currently in the process of going through his first ever cultivation session by himself.

"Hm?"

Coming to a stop in front of Bai Ning's room, Xuan Hao could clearly see the scene happening beyond the door through his divine sense as he watched how Bai Ning was trying to absorb the surrounding qi between heaven and earth through the method shown in the cultivation mantra that he had been given.

"This is… Interesting…"

Deciding not to knock on the door and disturb him, Xuan Hao instead completely hid his presence as he entered the room and observed what Bai Ning was doing.

"Argh! W-what if I try to absorb the qi like this… And… Argh! Not again! Why is it so hard to get the qi to stay in my dantian!?"

Compared to both Qing Yi and Chu Yang, who had both experienced cultivating before becoming his disciples, Bai Ning was different and had never tried doing something like absorbing the qi from heaven and earth before gathering it in his dantian.

Xuan Hao had left in a hurry earlier due to his pseudo sword domain going out of control and had not managed to explain how he should go about absorbing and storing the qi in his dantian properly.

All he had really done was help him reach the first stage of the Qi Condensation Realm and show him how to absorb the qi between heaven and earth according to the Unformed Mantra… He had not gotten to teaching him how to actually store the qi in his dantian and from the looks of it, the Unformed Mantra did not really do so either…

The reason for this was quite simple, as the process of gathering and storing qi in the dantian during the Qi Condensation Realm was mostly the same everywhere and thus was normally not recorded as it was something everyone would normally know about…

Xuan Hao also forgot about this and the fact that Bai Ning had never been introduced to cultivation before in his haste to fix his pseudo sword domain earlier, thus resulting in the current predicament of Bai Ning absorbing the qi between heaven and earth into his dantian. Followed by said qi staying around in his dantian for a few seconds before leaving and returning to nature again.

"…"

On one hand, the process of him absorbing the qi helped strengthen it and make it purer… Truly a sad sight…

Whoosh~

Seeing the sight of his disciple helping his surroundings by strengthening the qi and releasing it out into the world again, Xuan Hao quickly left the room as he soon appeared in front of the door leading inside the room.

Knock Knock

"W-who is it…?"

Gently knocking on the door two times, Xuan Hao heard the voice of his third disciple Bai Ning echoing out from inside.

"It's me!"

"Master!"

Listening to Bai Ning stand up before rushing over to open the door as he heard his voice, Xuan Hao could not help but smile a bit to himself upon seeing the young boy appear in front of him full of excitement.

"H-how come you are here…?"

"Ah, I remembered that I forgot to teach you how to properly keep the qi that you absorb stored inside of your dantian earlier due to something urgent coming up all of a sudden, so I came back to finish our lesson from earlier and get you sorted out so you can begin cultivating by yourself!"

Saying this, Xuan Hao watched the confused look on Bai Ning's face transform into an understanding one as both of them made their way inside of the room without saying anything.

"S-so… Master… H-how is it that I keep absorbing the qi between heaven and earth, but whenever I try to store it inside my dantian, it always ends up escaping a few seconds later… I really can't figure out how to do anything about it…"

"Haha, no need to worry so much. Cultivating was never easy in the first place, and you just started cultivating a few hours ago! Now sit down and I will slowly guide you through it."

Nodding his head, Bai Ning once again sat back down in a meditative position as he looked up at Xuan Hao waiting for instructions.

"For now, begin gathering qi like you did before… Yes… Just like this! Now that your qi is inside the dantian, you will first have to create an anchor for it to gather around. The anchor point will act as the centre of qi for your dantian before you reach the Foundation Establishment Realm, I already helped you reach the first stage, so an initial anchor should be present at the centre of the qi you already have inside your dantian! Try to use that as foundation for…"

Guiding Bai Ning along the way as a small spiral of qi slowly appeared in his dantian, Xuan Hao happily observed how Bai Ning's cultivation began progressing.

The qi that he absorbed from the surroundings no longer leaked out after a few seconds into the environment, but instead added to the small spiral of qi inside his dantian as it slowly grew bigger.

All he had to do now was continuously refine and grow the qi spiral inside of his dantian to reach the peak of the Qi Condensation Realm!
