The sound of a siren resounds

A crowd appears to be surrounding a young man lying on the ground covered in a pool of his own crimson red blood

"No! No! You can't leave! Yifeng!" a young woman screams as she holds the young man known as Yifeng in her arms whilst being dyed by his blood

"Ling er, you.... must be happy... without me..." Yifeng muttered

"No! How can I be happy without you?!" the young woman cried desperately

"The ambulance is here! You'll be fine!"

"Stay with me Yifeng!"

Within an eternal darkness, Song Yifeng wakes up to an extremely bright light

"Huh did I go to hell? Why is everything so dark?" Song Yifeng muttered

From out of nowhere a voice speaks to him "Greetings mortal."

"Hmm? Where is that voice coming from?" Yifeng thought

Cough Cough*

"Oh, there you are sorry about that old man." Yifeng apologized

"Old man..." the voice who spoke to him earlier is revealed to be from an old man

"Oh sorry." Yifeng apologized again

"No, no you're right I certainly am old. Now about where we are. We certainly aren't in hell but rather my own space I created eons ago." the old man said

"Eons ago? You are hella old dude.." Yifeng couldn't help but say

"Anyway the reason you died was a mistake, you see the child you were about to save would've been fine even if you didn't save him. The driver would've swerved to the side just before hitting the child." the old man said

".. So you're telling me I died for nothing?" Yifeng asked

"Well yes, so now I will give you a choice for your deed even though it wasn't necessary. I will let you reincarnate into a world of your choice, any person and even the time period. I will also grant you up to three wishes of your choice." the old man said

"So, you must be what they call God then?" Yifeng asked

"That's right, now have a good think before choosing." God replied

"Hmm... Alright, I've decided reincarnate me into Cultivation Chat Group as Song Shuhang's elder brother by one year. As for the time period... I guess a year or two before the events of the original story where Shuhan accidentally gets invited into the group chat. Yifeng said

"As for the second wish, I want the same library from L*brary of Heavens Path along with all the cultivation techniques and knowledge from every cultivation novel. Now for my final wish, would it be possible to bring my fiancee Ling er with me?" Yifeng asked

"That is possible, however, it will depend on whether or not she agrees, so I will bring her here for you to have a chat. I will give her knowledge of your wish so you don't need to explain it to her when she gets here." God said

"Thanks!" Yifeng said

God's eyes had changed at the mention of Yifeng wanting to bring his fiancee with him as if he had experienced the long years of loneliness and solitude. Yifeng noticed this and wanted to ask however he couldn't afterseeing the look of desolation and despair

"Yifeng!?" the young woman referred to as Ling er shouted

"Ling er!" Yifeng cried

The two lovers ran into each other's arms and hugged for over 10 minutes before finally letting go of each other

"So, do you agree to reincarnate along with Song Yifeng?" God asked

"Of course, I have no parents and no attachments to that world aside from Yifeng. Since his death I wished that I could join him however he said that he wanted me to live as his final wish.." she replied

"Ling er.." Yifeng said as he caressed her head softly

"Alright, since you agree then the two of you may go together I wish you luck." God said before pointing at them then a white light flashed and brought the two away

"Wait will keep our memories?" Yifeng shouted

"Yea don't worry!" God replied as they disappeared

A few moments later God sighed and said "Sigh, my wife if only I could see you again. This everlasting immortality has brought to me nothing but despair. These countless eons of loneliness seeing the generations go in a blink of an eye.."

"Hey, Song Yifeng! Song Shuhan you two better wake up or you'll be late for school!" a middle-aged woman shouted

Yawns*

Hearing his mother shout at him, Song Yifeng slowly got out of bed and opened the door to see his mother knocking on his little brother's door

"Song Shuhang! Yifeng has already woken up, what about you?!" Mother Song shouted

"I'm up! I'm up!" Song Shuhang cried

"Mom, I'll go change now and get ready" Yifeng said as he went back into his room to change and make his bed

"Sure thing." Mother Song replied as she went to the kitchen to fix breakfast for the family

Inside his room, Song Yifeng brushes his teeth as he looks into the mirror and thinks to himself "So it's already been a couple of days since I've reincarnated huh.. I wonder when I'll be able to see Ling er, my appearance is still the same so hers should as well.."
