Using the library, Song Yifeng found a suitable Soul Beast for his two Martial Spirits

"Hmm, with my current physique I should be able to handle 100 Thousand Year old Soul Beasts. Time to give it a go." he thought

Sitting cross legged on the ground, Song Yifeng slowly started absorbing the Black Lightning Qilin's Spirit Ring. As he absorbed it, the domineering power from the Spirit Ring caused his entire body to shake from pain as it became entirely red whilst beads of sweat fell like a downpour of rain

Shh* Shh*

After an hour or so, Song Yifeng still couldn't absorb the powers of the Spirit Ring and coughed a mouthful of blood

Ppk!

Putting his all into absorbing the Spirit Ring, Song Yifeng endured the hellish pain he felt throughout his body as his bodies constitution slowly started getting used to it and improved at a slow pace

Another two hours later, Song Yifeng's body stopped quivering as he had successfully absorbed the Spirit Ring after three hours

Opening his eyes, a big red and black ring floated around his body without moving from its position

"Damn, I really underestimated the power of a 100 Thousand Year Soul Beast. No wonder T*ng San and the other 6 had so much trouble absorbing them. Anyways time to see what my new Spirit Ability is." he thought

Focusing his mind on the newly absorbed Soul Ring, new knowledge suddenly appeared inside his mind as if it had always been there

[Creates black lightning around any part of the body. Can be shot/thrown or can form any shape as long as it is connected to the body]

"Oh? Looks like I gained more offensive power, I can even make a weapon out of black lightning it seems. For my next Spirit Ring I should probably get a defensive ability."

After wiping off the sweat from his body, Song Yifeng waited until he reached peak conditions before preparing to absorb the other Spirit Ring

"Well I should be fine now, hopefully it won't take as long to absorb this next one."

As he absorbed the Spirit Ring, Yifeng noticed that his tolerance towards the pain had increased by a little bit as he endured the painful process once again

After two or so hours, Yifeng completely absorbed the second 100 Thousand Year Spirit Ring

[Gains the ability to travel through the void]

"???"

"The void seems to be related to space… Guess I'll give it a go." he thought

Releasing his Silver Dragon Martial Spirit, Song Yifeng used his second Spirit Ability as a crack appeared suddenly in front of him as it quickly shattered. A portal like space appeared in front of Yifeng as he took a step into it

Looking around, Song Yifeng saw a vast space filled with a bunch of bright purple lights. He also noticed that he could see the original plane where he had been previously and could sense the presence of others whilst inside the void

"Looks like I can use this to escape or travel quickly to places. It's also useful for combat though it doesn't seem to have any use for control purposes??? Well I'll think of a way to use it after all the library already filtered it out to match my Martial Spirit." he thought as he went back out of the void and appeared in the original plane

Song Yifeng scanned the surround area before taking out his Flying Sword then jumped on top and took off

Once he arrived at his dorm room, Yifeng took a shower before realising a major problem

"Hang on I don't have a storage ring how the f*ck am I gonna bring stuff with me?"

Ding*

"It's been a while hasn't it Yifeng."

"Old man!" Yifeng replied

"Well I can solve your current predicament, put up one of your arms in above you and then bend one knee then turn your head sideways." God said

Song Yifeng did just that before realising something was wrong. "Hang on I didn't need to make that pose did I?"

"Nope just making fun of ya." God said before a light flashed as a plain white ring appeared on the palm ofSong Yifeng's hand

"..."

"See ya." God said before disappearing

"This damned geezer…"

"Well at least he gave me a storage ring, time to chuck everything I'll need into it." he thought as he begun throwing things into the ring

After taking everything he needed with him, Song Yifeng put his wallet and phone into his pocket then sent a text to Shuhang to inform him of his outing

He then left the University campus as he jumped onto his Flying Sword then took off

"Time for me to go on a journey, I hope that by the time Senior White comes out of seclusion I will be close to the 5th stage Spirit Sovereign. I also need to get myself a high grade ghost spirit too.."
