After the abrupt and unexpected spectacle by Seila, Khal looked at the three Golden Star in his grasp and asked, "Is there any special benefit of these Golden Stars except showing others my status among blacksmiths?"
Elder Sige raised a brow upon that question as he didn't expect Khal to ask that, but still nodded, "There are indeed other benefits except showing your level of status. For example, you can accept tasks on or below your Star Level in the Request Hall."
"Request Hall? Where did I hear this name?" mumbled Khal but soon his eyes brightened and said, "I got it! During one of my sessions with my Master, he told me he had to deliver one of his forged items into the Request Hall. If I'm right, he forged a long sword for someone but as for who he didn't mention."
"Exactly," nodded Elder Sige and proceeded on saying, "In the Request Hall, until you have at least one Golden Star, you can accept any type of task related to your profession let it be forging swords or armors, creating pills or potions, or simply doing something completely else."
"I see, thank you very much for the detailed explanation. Now that you excuse me, I shall leave." bowed Khal, but just as he was about to leave, Elder Sige cleared his throat before asking, "Wait for a minute young one. Before you leave, can you please tell me who is your master?"
"It's Master Bazz, from Moon Academy," replied Khal without hesitancy.
"So it's him... I see..." nodded Elder Sige then waved his hand, "Thank you, now you can leave."
After bowing at Elder Sige, Khal turned around and left the room under many sharp stares from the rest of the participants that were still struggling to finish their work.
However, he didn't forget to throw the Scorching Sun Steel into his spatial ring as he could clearly remember the rules stating he was allowed to do so.
Once outside, Khal looked at the sun that was still high above the sky and sighed, "Master told me to wait here, but I don't really want to sit in one place as he said his competition could last for days."
After glancing at Rubie on his shoulder Khal had a sudden idea and thought, "How about we check out this Request Hall? Maybe we can see ourselves what we can accept with 3 Golden Stars."
Sometime later, after asking around to locate the Request Hall, Khal stood before this huge building that was twice as bigger as the Star Mansion!
'So this is the Request Hall, huh? Except for its size, nothing special so far.' thought Khal with an indifferent gaze and entered the building through the huge doors.
Though, when he did, what opened before his line of sight was an extremely spacious hall, with thousands if not millions of bulletin boards with numerous papers pierced on their surface, similar to notice boards from taverns!
"Well, this sight is... Unexpected, if I can the least," mumbled Khal and approached the closest bulletin board that had almost a hundred pieces of paper pinned on it.
'Shadow City needs 500 High-Quality Essence Pills! - Rewards: 5,000 Gold Coins!'
'Madam Mio searches for 2 Supreme-Quality Blood-Vessel Potions! - Rewards: 10,000 Gold Coins!'
'Elder Yill is looking for a 4 Star Blacksmith for work! - Reward: 2,500 Gold Coins!'
Khal read one request after another, and watched as there really were a ton of different tasks one could accept. And what's more, the rewards were heaven-defying too!
'Damn, with these tasks one could get rich in no time at all!' thought Khal to himself and stepped to the next bulletin board.
However, when he did, a guy pushed himself to the side, almost making him fall onto the ground!
"Get out of my way, brat, or I will shove my feet right up to your ass!"
The guy that seemed bulky and half a head taller than Khal turned to look at him, his eyes piercing daggers right at him as if he wanted to kill him with a single stare!
'...' Khal frowned when he heard this as the man was the one bumping into him not the other way around, but knowing he was in another city, he knew the best choice was simply to ignore these types of people.
Hence, he turned around, ready to leave, but who would have thought that the guy would grab his shoulder and halt his movements!
"Hey, I was talking to you, kid. And when I'm talking to you, you will remain here until I say so!"
Turning around, Khal glanced at the guy once again, but this time his eyes were firmly fixed on his figure without any emotion on his face.
"What? You have a problem?" the guy noticed Khal's indifference and misunderstood it as arrogance, thus became angered whilst even small veins started to pop out on his thick neck.
"Look, someone angered Mad Claw! Who is this time?"
"What? Really? Where?"
"There! Are you blind or what? Who can not notice Mad Claw's figure from this close?"
People began to whisper among each other when they noticed Khal and the guy, named Mad Claw's little quarrel, curious to see what will happen next.
However, soon a guy among the crowd suddenly frowned and asked loudly, "Wait, that boy... Why does he seem so familiar?"
Soon, everyone began to ponder and it wasn't long before someone gasp with shock and said, "That's him! The boy from the Thousand Life Tournament who almost achieved victory against Young Miss! It's him!"
This caused a ruckus among the crowd, all starting to feel even more excited to watch what will happen. Everyone there knew just what kind of person Mad Claw was and how he felt toward this Young Miss who was in truth Seila!
It could be said he was in mad love with her and even that would be an underestimation!
When Mad Claw heard the whispers among the crowd he turned to look at Khal and a cold smile arose on his face.
"I see, so it turns out it's you... I didn't think I will meet you so soon, but it seems even the heavens want me to crush you, haha!"
Mad Claw was about to tighten his palm around Khal's shoulder, obviously with the attempt to crush all three bones inside his shoulder into dust!
Khal obviously noticed this and even though he wanted to avoid causing a ruckus, he no longer had a choice.
However, just as he was about to move and use his Bloodshed Touch to teach the guy a lesson, a figure appeared between them, halting both his and Mad Claws' attempts.
"I hope you all know what are the consequences if you try to fight inside the Request Hall, right?" a young man that appeared to be no older than 30 looked at Khal then slowly shifted his gaze at Mad Claw, whose grip was still firmly on Khal's shoulder.
Even Rubie, who was about to attack seemed to freeze and tremble slightly, as the presence the guy was emitting was extremely terrifying, could be said blood-freezing!
'Ninth Stage! Another expert on the Ninth Stage!' cried Khal inwardly, feeling his back soaked with cold sweat upon feeling the guy's aura that had a hint of killing intent!
