Chapter 204: Silver Robe

"Moon Token?" Khal asked Jas as he inspected the item in his hold.

"Yes, it is an extremely valuable token that you will be able to use once you reach the Second Realm. I recommend you put it away and show no one or you can easily find yourself in great trouble."

Khal raised his gaze at Jas and nodded before tossing his Moon Token into his spatial ring.

"Now then..." Jas extended his arm toward Khal and showed a smile that was rare to see from him.

"Congratulations on becoming a Real Cultivator, I can't wait to see what the future holds for you."

Khal upon hearing Jas's compliment smiled and accepted the handshake, however, was deeply surprised since the end of the battle.

'Just what happened? Why did my blood turn solid?' Khal felt confused as he couldn't get his head around what happened just now.

[Since you reached the Sixth Cultivation Stage, each of your Power Cores became stronger.]

'Yeah, I know that, but that doesn't explain how my blood became solid.'

Until this moment, Khal clearly understood that the stronger he became, the stronger his Talents turned to be too.

For example, in the beginning, his Heaven's Eyes was able to see things only in a five-meter radius, while only boosting his reaction speed a bit. However, now that he reached the Sixth Stage, the radius became 20 meters while things in it seemed to move relatively slowly thanks to his enhanced reaction speed.

Furthermore, the same went for his Stellar Domain. At the start, the area where he could affect others was smaller than 10 meters, but now it has already expanded more than 50 meters, which was an extremely huge difference!

Though, neither of these abilities seemed to show that they have achieved to obtain extra features. Like, his Bloodshed Touch's main purpose was to suck and draw other beings' blood with a single touch and not to make his blood turn solid.

Even though he wished that he could manipulate blood with this power, he didn't feel like it would be possible to do so. Yet, after what happened just now, it seemed he will definitely be able to manipulate his blood if not others.

Jas obviously noticed his surprise, and shifted his gaze at the sword stabbed in Khal's hand, which was still stuck there because of the solidified blood.

Khal noticed Jas's gaze thus looked at his arm and asked from Nova, 'How can I take the weapon out of my hand? Even though I don't feel any pain, it's still uncomfortable, especially when I move.'

[Just think about them as if they were a part of your body and try to relax them.]

'Try to relax them as if they were my muscles?' Khal was confused, but when he saw Logan's gaze too on the sword, he realized it should be best to try and take it out as fast as possible.

Hence, after taking a deep breath, Khal closed his eyes and imagined as the blood around the blade was his own muscles and attempted to relax them.

And to his great surprise, it worked!

Just like how one's muscle would loosen, the blood did the exact same, and the previous firm hold softened and Khal was able to pull the sword out of the wound.

Though, the moment he did, immense pain priced his arm, almost making him yell up, but thanks to him anticipating it beforehand he just clenched his teeth and handed the sword to Logan.

"If you don't want to die from blood loss, eat this quick." Jas seeing as Khal's round began to bleed like crazy, threw a golden pill to Khal, who didn't even hesitate to toss it right into his mouth!

And exactly a second later, the gap that would have needed at least several months to recover, began to heal at a speed visible to the naked eye, and a few minutes later it vanished wholly as if it wasn't even there in the first place!

"Thank you very much!" Khal bowed to Jas, showing his gratitude.

"It's nothing." Jas just waved his hand, and asked, "Instead tell me, what are you planning to do now that you have stepped on the path of cultivation?"

Khal hearing this began to ponder as the question was indeed a good one. He had quite a lot to do and accomplish, even after he succeeds in killing Alde.

He had to find out the origin of his bracelet before helping Neo get out of Soul prison while also protecting Liza, who was still oblivious about their shared past.

And to do all of those, he had to become stronger, much stronger than he was now.

He not only has to become stronger in Cultivation Base, but he also needs to refine his Secret Arts and mastery over his Talents. Just like how Logan showed him, only a simple sword technique that was honed through countless years of hardships and difficulties was way more than enough to surpass him.

Furthermore, Khal was no fool to think that Logan used all his strength during their battle as it was obvious he didn't. Maybe he took him a little bit seriously in the end, but if he wanted to he could have killed him with a single strike from the get-go. The only reason why he didn't was that it was a graduation test and not a deathmatch.

However, if it were the latter one, then Khal was pretty sure he would have graduated not from Moon Acadamy but his life instead!

And this is why Khal turned serious, and with a determined complexion, he said, "I will become stronger and enter Realms where no humans have ever been before!"

Jas and the experts that have already walked closer, upon hearing this widened their eyes, but soon all smiled, some even chuckling as if what Khal just said was something funny.

Jas however just smiled and nodded, "If that's what you truly wish to do then I won't stop you at all as everyone here and on this planet has the very same dream as you. To become the strongest and be the one on the very top."

Khal nodded, but still felt confused why the rest laughed at what he just said. If everyone had the same aim as him, then what made his previous statement so funny?

However, little did Khal know that the reason why all the experts smiled and laughed was that in their eyes his declaration was like a child saying what he wants to be when he grows up.

If it were so easy and reach the higher Realms just because one decided to do so, then humans would have reached them a very long time ago.

Nonetheless, reality was harsher and much crueler than one belived it to be. Let alone surviving in the Second Realm where other terrifying races existed alongside humans, the Third Realm or even the ones above that were extremely dangerous, to the point where the slightest mistake could mean your demise!

This, hearing Khal say he will be the very first one to reach the Realms above the Third Realm was not only funny, but in their eyes, it was an insanely bold and extremely arrogant proclamation to say.

"Anyways, now that you have completed your final test, you have no reason to remain in Moon Academy. However, if you want, you can naturally decide to remain here as long as you wish, but then you have to do a few things." Jas said to Khal after a moment of silence and waited for Khal's answer.

Khal, however, immediately nodded and said without a moment of hesitation, "I will stay in Moon Academy. I still have a few things to do before I can decide to go and explore the world."

The experts seemed curious what Khal had to do that made him so serious, but as it was not their business they simply remained silent. Only Jane had a slight hunch of what Khal wanted to do, but as she wasn't sure she could only narrow her eyes slightly.

Jas seemingly unaware of the hidden meaning of what Khal just said nodded, "I see, then please hand over your key. As you are no longer a student of Moon Academy, you can't carry that key. But don't worry, you will be given a normal room until you don't decide to leave."

Khal knew it made sense thus handed the V.I.P key to Jas.

"Thank you, also, you can keep your Moon Robe as you deserve it, but please wear this until you are inside Moon City." Jas waved his hand, and soon a robe that looked the same as the Moon Robe appeared, with the sole exception it had a beautiful silver color with golden patterns on it that seemed noble.

After taking the robe away and bowing to Jas and the experts, Khal walked away with Rubie.
