In the middle of a vast green field where only a few bushes and trees could be seen with some small boulders here and there, a young man stood motionless with his eyes gently closed, seemingly enjoying the sun's hot gleam on his skin.
Standing there in one place for several straight minutes, the young man gradually opened his eyes, revealing a pair of green eyes that seemed to sparkle like two pieces of emeralds under the light!
"It's finally over..." Khal sighed with extreme relief after taking a deep breath, feeling the heavy pressure, which was akin to a great mountain, falling down from his heart.
"Even though it took me faster than I had originally anticipated, I killed this dog once and for all," mumbled Khal and suddenly a figure's image popped up in his mind, causing him to shake his head once again.
'Now you can rest in real peace, Miss Mary.'
After staring at the spot that now was only a deep crater filled with burned debris and melted jam, Khal was about to leave when suddenly his eyes caught a glimpse of something, halting his steps immediately.
"A spatial ring?" Khal seemed surprised that Alde's spatial ring was still intact even after he used his Hell Blaze, but now that he found it, it would be foolish for him to leave it there.
Thus, he picked it up from the ground before pouring a bit of his Body Essence into it to see what was inside it. But when he saw the amount of stuff inside the ring, his eyes suddenly widened as huge as saucers while his jaw dropped below his knees just from pure shock!
"T-This..." Khal tried to find the words to describe his current feelings, but strangely nothing came out of his mouth even after he stood there for a whole minute!
He was just simply too shocked to speak, that's all.
And to be honest, his reaction was not exaggerated, not even the slightest. Inside the spatial ring, Khal watched as numerous pills with different colors, scrolls with different thicknesses, and weapons with different shapes and sizes lied on top of each other, almost like they have been tossed inside without the slightest care in the world!
Furthermore, including these things that could be sold even for tens if not hundreds of golds each, Khal could see several hundreds of strange stones together with coins, the majority of it having gold and shiny cluster!
"That dog... He had all of these things all this time yet he used none of them. Let alone the weapons that seem to be Middle-Quality ones, just these Expert Level Secret Arts alone could have helped him stay alive a little bit longer, yet he decided not to use them... What a waste!" said Khal to himself as he inspected the Secret Arts one by one, and realized each of them were extremely useful!
There was a Secret Art that could make one skin harder, while there was even one that could tame and force an unbreakable contract on beasts, turning them into Tamed Beasts!
Every single Secret Art was capable of turning an average Cultivator into an extremely powerful expert in its own Cultivation Stage, yet, for some unknown reason, Alde decided to just toss them inside his spatial ring like some kind of trash!
But how would he react if he would have learned that Alde decided not to use these things as he indeed saw these items as trash, which, in fact, was not a huge surprise, considering that in the Ourvi Family he could easily obtain items with better quality than all of these combined!
"And these pills... There are several Low and Middle-Quality Essence Pills, even a few High-Quality ones while I can see several others I have never seen before! Just what did he do until now that he was only on the Fifth Cultivation Stage? With so many Essence Pills, anyone could have reached the Peak of the Fifth Stage in a single month much less two! Was he wasting his time on purpose?"
However, as Alde was no longer among the living while he also didn't really care about just why was Alde such an idiot, Khal quickly tossed all the items and money from Alde's ring into his before throwing the now empty spatial ring far away into the distance.
"Well, now that we have done with this too, it's time to get back." Khal clapped his hands together merrily before summoning his armor back on and leaving the murder scene as if he did nothing special at all.

Somewhere far away from Moon City, inside a huge mansion, two men were sitting inside a luxurious and spacious room that was filled with nothing but luxurious decorations and furniture, both drinking some expensive-looking wine from crystal glass.
"Haha! Those bastards from the Silk City really thought they can fool us! A hundred Golden Coins for a single Essence Refiner Pill... They should feel blessed that they are still alive!"
A man in a black robe talked with obvious detest, his right hand gently circling the crystal glass that was half-filled with dark-red wine.
The other man next to him, who wore the same colored robe with the sole exception that he had beautiful golden and silver symbols on it, just shook his head mildly that held a smile.
"Calm down Edvin, they just wanted to make a good business, that's all."
"Hmph! Good business my ass!" snorted the man called Edvin and continued, "Even though an Essence Refiner Pill is hard to make and requires a lot of material, it is nowhere near as a hundred Golden Coins! If it weren't for me saving face for the Ourvi Family and you, Anred, I would have cut off their ugly heads right there and then!"
Anred hearing this shook his head once again and was ready to talk, but suddenly the door on the side was burst open and a man with a pale face came in with ragged breathing.
"M-My Lord, emergency! Young Master had been attacked and had gone missing!"
"WHAT?!"
Anred stood up immediately, the glass full of wine in his hand falling out of his hand and breaking into fragments. However, he couldn't care about the mess he just made, and instead, he looked at his subordinate with an ice-cold glare, his body leaking terrifying presence together with blood-freezing killing intent!
Even Edvin seemed shocked, trying to figure out just who was foolish enough to offend the Ourvi Family, especially the son of its leader to top it off! In his eyes, anyone who was bold enough to do such a stupid thing had balls as large as the skies or simply got bored of their lives.
"Tell me what happened, now!" hissed Anred in a terrifyingly low voice, resisting his urge to choke someone alive.
