Bazz lowered his hand once he heard Khal and stared at him with an expressionless face.
Only after several seconds of sheer silence later did he frown and ask, "You want to do... What?"
"I want to forge this metal's, Life Essence." Khal took out his Dark Oak Iron from his spatial ring as he talked and placed it atop the desk.
Bazz took a glance at the piece of metal before shifting his gaze back at Khal and ask, "You want to... Forge that Dark Oak Iron's Life Essence?"
"Yes, I want." Khal nodded, but deep inside he sighed as he did want to tell Bazz his real plan.
Originally, if he gets approval from Bazz he will unlock his God Creation Mode, and not only will he form the Dark Oak's Life Essence, but he will also make its God Essence, which until this very moment no living being achieved!
Of course, he will keep it a secret as things could become rather troublesome if his real plan was to known, thus that is the reason why he had to lie.
Bazz narrowed his eyes at Khal almost as if he planned to pierce his soul with his gaze alone and asked, "How sure you are you will succeed?"
"100%."
'...'
Bazz turned silent once again, his frown this time way deeper than previously. Even though he knew that Khal possessed a powerful Hidden Talent that can help him forge metals better than anyone else, he was still skeptical about him succeeding.
Though, just as he wanted to answer a voice came from the side which surprised both Khal and Bazz.
"Let him do it. I am curious to see if he can succeed or not, especially after his last time."
"Chief Rou!" Bazz quickly bowed at the man on the side.
Khal did the same as his master and once he straightened his back he asked, "Thank you very much!"
"Haha! Your welcome." smiled Chief Rou, but soon turned serious and said, "Now go and start forging. I want to see if you can really achive what you wish to do with that talent of yours or not."
Khal nodded and after picking up the Dark Oak Iron he walked away with Bazz and Chief Rou following him from behind.
"Then I will start it," Khal said and without a second thought entered one of the Safety Chamber, which doors closed behind his back once he was completely inside.
In the meantime, Bazz glanced at Chief Rou and asked with a slight frown, "Why did you let him forge Life Essence? Aren't you afraid that he will... Die?"
Chief Rou rested his eyes on the now-closed doors before he closed them and sighed, "Dark Oak Iron, huh? It can indeed be a dangerous metal if forged without proper knowledge, but considering that he succeeded in forging a Scorching Sun Steel into an Inferno Steel previously, it shouldn't pose a problem for him."
"Basically, it shouldn't, yeah. But still, if he truly fails in creating its Life Essence, he can tru-"
"I know, but there is no reason for worry. The Safety Chamber is not called that way just for fun. If his life seems to be in danger, the arrays will turn active on their own and teleport him outside. He won't die." Chief Rou quickly ended Bazz's question and continued to stare at the door with a nonchalant gaze.
Bazz remained silent after that and decided to wait too and not ask any other questions in fear of angering his boss.
Meanwhile, inside the room, Khal stood in one place before a voice appeared in his head.
[Ability God Creation Mode activated!]
"Perfect, let's start it then." Khal opened his eyes and grabbed the Dark Oak Iron on his side and brought it to the fireplace.
Once before there, he activated his newly acquired ability, causing the familiar sensation to appear in his body while holograms around him emerged one after another.
"There are quite a few, huh," Khal exclaimed with surprise as he stared at the holograms around him that reached almost twenty in numbers!
Though, he felt shocked only for a second as the very next moment his eyes turned sharp and started to heat the Dark Oak Iron.
Bit by bit, the black iron became brighter and brighter, first, it was brown and it gradually became dull red and yellow. And exactly half an hour later, when it has reached the color of bright yellow, Khal moved quickly and with a smooth move took out the iron from among the blazing fire.
However, to his great surprise, instead of taking the iron to the anvil in the middle of the room and starting his forging there, his body moved toward the side where several metal tools hung from the wall.
Once there, he put the bright and extremely hot Dark Oak Iron atop a small iron surface with one hand and held it there firmly while he extended his other hand to grab a tool from the side that looked quite like a crosscut saw but with a pretty big size, almost thrice as big as a crosscut saw!
Khal watched his hand grab the tool and with a speed that seemed like a flash he cut off all sides of the Dark Oak Iron's, giving it a perfect cube shape in no time at all!
After that, Khal quickly picked up the chopped pieces with his tool before placing them into a bucket and tossing it back into the fireplace that still burned with crimson fire since the start.
While the sliced-off pieces seemed to melt and turn into a boiling mess inside the bucket, Khal grabbed the now perfect cube and brought it to the anvil where he clutched two hammers in both of his hands and started to strike the Dark Oak Iron with rapid strikes!
CLANG~!
CLANG~!
CLANG~!
Several sharp but melodic sounds reverberated in the room almost simultaneously, while the Dark Oak Iron's size and color became smaller and whiter with each strike!
