"If you don't mind me asking, why do you plan to go to Seashell City?" asked Gar calmly, "If I am correct, you are from Moon City, right? Do you have a mission there too?"
Khal shook his head and said, "No, I don't have."
"Then why are you traveling from such a distant place to Seashell City, especially alone?"
"I plan to go to the Western Continent. And because the only place which could help me get there is in Seashell City, I had no choice but to go there," replied Khal while began to walk together with Gar and Neal following him.
"What? The Western Continent? Why?" Neal expressed his shock and awe, not quite understanding why someone like Khal decided to go to such a dangerous place like the Western Continent.
"I have reached a bottleneck in my cultivation and the only thing that can help me is in that place."
Gar and Neil looked at each other once they heard the answer, their confusion growing even deeper than before.
After a while later, Gar turned to look at Khal and once he took a deep breath he asked, "If I am not being rude, what is your cultivation base?"
Neal glanced at Khal with curiosity as he too was interested in the answer. Knowing that Khal was only at the Fourth Cultivation Stage during the tournament yet now he was able to kill a Thunder Spirit as easily as lifting his finger, he was more than eager to hear his answer.
Khal however just merely smiled and waved his hand.
Swish!
Immediately after he did that, Gar and Neal watched as their surroundings vanished and what replaced them was an infinite cosmos filled with uncountable stars, planets, and galaxies!
"T-this... Impossible!" Neal couldn't help but blurt out his thoughts, staring at Khal like a ghost.
Right now, Khal's body was emitting a powerful presence that only those on the Eighth Cultivation Stage had!
"It's real... He is truly on the Right Cultivation Stage!" Gar mumbled with shock and couldn't help but feel as his back got soaked with cold sweat once he realized that if Khal wanted to, he could have easily killed them numerous times already!
Even Neal looked pale while deep inside, he thanked the gods above that he didn't act recklessly when he wanted to attack Khal.
If he decided to attack him, he was pretty sure he would have died under a single second while putting his friend's life into danger which was the last thing he wanted to do!
Seeing their complexions, Khal shook his head gently and waved his hand once again, causing the infinite cosmos from the surroundings to vanish at once.
When the pressure finally vanished from their bodies, the two finally were able to breathe properly as though their necks had been just freed from a tight grip.
"This guy is just way too scary," mumbled Neal as he massaged his neck as though he was just choked.
Gar nodded and glanced at Khal's back, pondering just how was he able to reach such heights under such a minuscule amount of time.
The three proceeded to walk forward in silence while killing creatures on their way that luckily were weaker than the Thunder Spirit from before. However, because the two guys now feared Khal because of his superior cultivation Base, they let him consume all the Essence without any complaint.
Khal felt a little bit strange because of this, but because Gar and Neal refused to consume the Essence even after he told them to do so, he decided not to be polite any longer and consumed them all.
Thus, his 1,004 units of Body Essence grew once again, rising all the way to 1,143 units until they finally reached Seashell City.
"And we are finally here." Khal grinned merrily as he looked at the huge city wall before him.
Entering the city, Khal turned around and said, "Well, it seems this is where we have to separate our ways. It was fun traveling together."
Gar and Neal nodded and after thanking Khal again that he saved their lives they bid their farewell and walked away.
Meanwhile, Khal didn't immediately go to find the teleportation point where he will be able to enter the Western Continent, but decided to find a place where he could refill his empty stomach.
After finishing his meal, which cost him three Gold Coins, Khal walked to the center of the city, where a huge, circular construction was built.
It was made out of metal and white marble, while on its surface numerous and complex carvings were visible, glowing with gently white light.
'So this is a Teleportation Array, huh?' Khal thought calmly.
[Pathetic.]
Khal was caught off from his guard when he heard Nova's cold sneer in his head and asked, 'Pathetic? Why?'
[You really ask that question even after ready about arrays from that book? Just take a closer look! Teleportation arrays are extremely easy to form, yet they made it look so complicated for no reason!]
[Such a huge waste...]
'...'
Khal remained silent, unknown what to say at that statement.
Easy to form? Of course, for someone that lived for thousands of years and came from the Sixth Realm, such an array was easy to create, but for cultivators in the First Realm was not.
If it were, then there wouldn't be a total of ten teleportation arrays on this planet, but more!
This, Khal could do nothing but shake his head helplessly and walk toward the teleportation array, where a guard clad in silver armor was calmly standing with a somewhat bored face.
"I would like to go to use the teleportation array," Khal said the very moment he was before the guard.
The guard, however, only gave Khal a quick and boring glance before averting his gaze.
"It will be a thousand Gold Coins, kid."
"Sure." Khal nodded and quickly took out a pouch which was filled with a thousand Gold Coins.
"Huh? What?" the guard looked perplexed when Khal took out the amount he told him, but quickly snapped out of his daze and said, now with a wide grin on his face, "Oh, did I just say a thousand? Haha, sorry kid, I wanted to say two thousand."
