27 Ruler of the Eastern Spirit Dynasty

After the Wu Clan situation, Wu Tian bought the groceries and rested for the rest of the day. He then the next morning started cultivating his inner energy and martial arts and eating breakfast before jumping back onto the game.

Wu Tian firstly checked his stats and saw he got 2 new titles:

-Demon Slayer: Increased affinity with titled NPC's by 50 %, health regen of 10% every 1 min.

-Hero of the Human Race: Player has received the quest, Save the Human Race, and so declared you are declared the Hero of the Human Race. All non-titled NPC's will act before you with complete reverence and all title NPC's will treat the player with respect as a friend or foe. For 10 seconds every 3 days, if your health gets down to 1% an indestructible shield will form that will allow the user to take infinite damage within that time.

In the game, there are two types of NPC's, titled, an example would be the 4 Grandmaster Brothers or Count Drax. Non-Titled NPC's would be the common soldier or shop owner. The advantage of having high affinity with common and titled NPC's has already been seen by Wu Tian and was extremely excited to have these two new titles.

Wu Tian looked up and the first thing he did was get out of the Valley of Fire. He went around as to try and avoid the people searching in the valley for his whereabouts but there were stray people who still found him. Wu Tian left the valley and went back to the Capital because this was where the ruler of the Dynasty lived. There was a giant area at the center of the city which held all government activities including the rulers where about.

When Wu Tian walked by all the NPC's would do a half bow, which confused other players when they were walking around. Wu Tian reached the outside of the gate which led to the Government areas but was stopped by a guard. Wu Tian looked at the guard and said: "I have something I need to show His Majesty, please let me pass."

The Guard was about the tell Wu Tian he couldn't when a man walked up to the gate and whispered into the guard's ear.The guard shouted, "OPEN THE GATES! Sir, you may go in."

Wu Tian watched the guards open the gates and he walked inside. The man who whispered to the guard was wearing a customary Chinese Battle Armor and had a sword on his hilt. The man introduced himself "Hello, Demon Slayer, I am Commander Yu Heng of the Eastern Spirit Dynasty. His Majesty has sensed your presence and wants to meet you in person."

Commander Heng led Wu Tian inside the main building into the main hall, where the Ruler sat on a throne. The Ruler was a somewhat normal looking man, he wore a robe and jewelry of a ruler, but Wu Tian felt something was off about this guy. Wu Tian knelled showing his respect and rose.

The Ruler nodded and sent the servants and staff out of the main hall. The ruler's voice echoed around the great hall "Hello, Demon Slayer, I thank you for getting rid of that pesky cult. My spirit here tells me you have great power and even absorbed the Divine Spirit Flame which my family has failed to do for many years, Commander Heng told me you have something to show me."

Usually, a king wouldn't act nice in front of people like this but because Wu Tian had the Hero of Humanity title, Titled NPC's like the ruler of the Dynasty acted respectfully before him. Wu Tian was confused when he heard the Ruler say "My Spirit" but Wu Tian realized when he saw a small person on the king shoulders that was made of flames. Wu Tian took out the notebook of Count Drax and the small flame spirit grabbed the book and brought it to the ruler.

The ruler opened the book and read it, after completing it he opened his eyes and a mysterious thoughtful face appeared. But he then looked at Wu Tian and asked: "So why have you shown me this?"

Wu Tian cupped his hands and asked: "Your Majesty, I need the title of Ambassador of the Eastern Spirit Dynasty to travel around the continents and stop these cults from growing and causing a war breaking the Human Race to split apart."

The Ruler nodded his head in agreement, he called his servant back and took out a red scroll. The servant showed a shocked expression and looked back at Wu Tian before running out of the hall. A few minutes later an old man dressed in a scholarly robe appeared and bowed before the ruler. He then looked at Wu Tian and asked "The king was moved your pure will to save humanity, his flame spirit can tell if a person is good or bad and he determined you are a good person wanting to save humanity for the sake of humanity, not for greed or self-gain. His Majesty decided he wants to appoint you as the Guardian of the Eastern Spirit Alliance. Do you accept."

Wu Tian was shocked, being Guardian of an entire kingdom is a big deal. So not only would he need to protect the country but he had to weed out all the cults which would be a difficult task by itself. Wu Tian sighed, he knew this was his only chance so he decided to say yes.

The ruler smiled and the scholarly old man, a sword was brought out and Wu Tian was coronated as the Guardian of the Eastern Spirit Dynasty. Once the rituals were done a message appeared:

"World Announcement: Player Martial Asura has been set as the Eastern Spirit Dynasty's Guardian and Ambassador."

Everyone went crazy, being the guardian was even a status above the noble and just below the king, as a Guardian, he would be allowed to lead the army during a time of war and even has the permission to start a war if needed.

Wu Tian saw his new 2 titles:

Ambassador of the Eastern Spirit Dynasty: You are allowed to travel to any of the countries freely and legally.

Guardian of the Eastern Spirit Dynasty: You are the guardian of the Dynasty and have an obligation to protect the royal throne, you have the ability to command all troops, guards, militia, etc. in the Dynasty and have certain powers over domestic and international issues of the Dynasty.When inside the Eastern Spirit Dynasty or during a war with more than 500 troops in your command, a 100% Damage Increase is added to all attacks.

Wu Tian bowed before the king and left the main hall, while Wu Tian walked to the gate all every soilders, generals, and commanders always greeted Wu Tian as the Guardian before going back to their business.
