11 Chapter 11 : Out of Themyscara

It's been a few days since I talked with Diana about going to the outside world and we already left Themiscyra.

Diana managed to patch things up with Aleka and they became friends again. Hippolyta was still not happy about Diana going to the outside world but I managed to convince her.

I explained the conditions about the outside world to Diana and made her promise not to act out since it will be troublesome for me if we attracted some unwanted attention.

I explained some of the histories of the World so far telling her everything she needs to be aware of and she listened very carefully. I could tell she wanted to lash out at some of the truths but she held back. I know she will come to act on these truths in the future but that's for later.

I managed to convince Diana to wear casual clothing for women in the 1880s and I wore the men's clothing. To be hon6est they are very uncomfortable and I didn't want to wear them either but they were necessary for us to blend in.

We teleported to New York and rented a place to live in temporarily. I had a clone journey here beforehand and leave a Flying Thunder God mark then with some mind alteration it didn't take much effort to settle in temporarily. We visited different parts of the city every day because Diana always wanted to see something new. She also saw some of the ugly truths of the world and tried to help some people out in her own way but I had to hold her back.

We are walking through the streets of New York at the moment. The city is crowded with hordes of people and carriages that were being pulled by horses since there were obviously no cars at this time. Even in this time period, there was still no room for breathing. I guess no matter what time period you are at New York is always busy.

I didn't like crowded areas but I did go to Time Square a few times with a few of my friends and I really enjoyed it. I don't know if it were the hundreds of flashing lights all around making the place look pleasing to my eyes or the feeling of being there with people I could share the experience with but I would always want to visit that place again. I drifted apart from my friends as we got older, I went my own way and they had their own lives but I will never forget the time I spent with them. They were one of the best moments in my previous life, I wonder how they are doing right now.....

Though I'm glad that this world will have a place like that in the future and maybe I will go there again with someone. Oh man, I sound sappy as hell.

"Hey, Krius! Did something happen? You didn't answer any of my questions!!" My thoughts were interrupted by Diana as she was pulling my hand to drag me with her. She was asking me to explain every new thing she saw. Even if it's nothing in my perspective, for her it's a whole new world she hadn't experienced before.

"It's nothing. Let's leave for now I have somewhere I need to go."

"Are you going to take me with you?" She questioned with a serious face.

"If you want you can come with me but you have to listen to what I say." I didn't mind her coming along as long as she doesn't interfere.

"Alright. I will go with you." She says putting on a fake smile, it's really suspicious but I will ignore it for now.

"Then let's get changed from these clothes. It's hard to move around in them." Her eyes widen hearing my words, showing an extremely thankful face.

She nodded repeatedly with my suggestion and I teleported to the room we were renting for the time being. I changed into my gear and I bought a Diana a red armor similar to her original but with dark blue leather jacket and pants with low heels.

"What kind of clothes are these? I haven't seen anything like these before." She asks curiously.

"Special clothes from my world. Women's battle gears." That's just a random excuse I came up with.

"Battle gears? Who are we going to fight?" She asks as she raises an eyebrow.

"Assasins I guess?"

"Why are you the one questioning? I should be the one asking!"

"Hahaha...You will know when we get there. Now go wear them." She gets a little angry with my comment but I laugh it off.

10 minutes later she comes out of the room wearing the clothes. I gotta say she looks like a badass in them.

"Looks good on you," I said as a compliment.

"Thank you but don't we need weapons?" Her face looked a little red but she still asked.

"Ah, I almost forgot here." I handed her a sheathed sword and a shield like the ones used by Amazons. She put them on her back saying,

"I'm prepared now." She says confidently.

"Finally, Let's go then." Without wasting any more time I placed my hand on her shoulder and vanished.
