23 Chapter 23: Furious Diana's Beatdown

"Mother!!" Diana burst through the massive wooden door yelling out for Hippolyta. As soon as she enters, she doesn't even glance at me and analyzes Hippolyta all over.

"What has happened to you? Why are you so energetic so early in the morning?" Hippolyta stays calm and composed like her usual self and questions Diana. I already told her about the situation but she didn't tell me anything so decided to see how she was going to handle the situation.

"Mother...You...you are alright?" Diana was surprised to see Hippolyta all okay which was really understandable.

"Of course I'm alright. Why wouldn't I be okay?" Hippolyta tries to feign ignorance and questions her. I don't think Diana would fall for that.

"But these past few days...where were you for the past few days?" Diana doesn't fall for it and asks again. As I thought there isn't any other choice, we would have to tell her.

"What nonsense are you talking about?" Hippolyta questions again pretending to be confused.

"I know mother! I know that you have been gone for the past few days!" Diana yells out loudly. She was visually disturbed and didn't know what was happening. She didn't know what Hippolyta was trying to hide from her.

Hippolyta who gets shocked by Diana's words looks at me. I am actually extremely nervous right now, any wrong move and it's awrap for Diana and I. Right now I could still somehow convince her but still I'm not sure at all. I nod at Hippolyta and join in on the conversation.

"Diana, we have something to tell you but before we do I need you to stay calm." I use a very calm tone which alerts Diana. Hippolyta knows what I am about to do so she resigns herself for however, Diana would react.

"What? What is it that you want to tell me?" Diana controls her breathing and stands up straight staring right at me.

"Okay...I think.it would be better to just show you." I breathe out and don't say anything else and slowly walk up to Hippolyta, bringing her closer to me then kiss her on her lips. She tries to resist but gives it within a few seconds. I don't look at Diana and continue kissing Hippolyta. We finally separate after a while and both turn to look at Diana.

"Hippolyta and I are in that kind of a relationship..." I don't know why but my heart started beating very fast which was really abnormal for me.

"Wha...why...why would you do such a thing?" Diana grinds her teeth as her fists tighten. I could see her muscles tightening as her face displays her furious rage. I don't say anything and walk closer to Diana. I know what she wants to do right now and I know I deserve it.

After a while I finally open my to say something, "Dian-" *booom* I couldn't hear the sound right away but I know I was hit as I flew across from the side of the room, making a gigantic hole in the wall and landed outdoors. I was hit right on my face and if I didn't harden myself using [ Armament Haki ] my jaw would have definitely been broken. But even after using Haki I couldn't defend all the way. Streaks of blood were dripping down from the corners of my mouth but my regenerative powers were already healing it.

I turned towards where I was to look at Diana as she radiated unknown energy. She was glowing with blueish white energy as her eyes turned blue. Her body was giving off a tremendous amount of heat which burned of the white cloth and sandals she was wearing made her expose her entire naked body. Damn...I knew she was hot but woah...wait now isn't the time to think about that!

Did I make her so angry that she managed to awaken her godly powers? She is so mad that she didn't even notice her clothes burning off.

She was walking towards me with slow steps as the energy from her body became fiercer and fiercer. I stood up straight and gathered all my powers within my body. Parts of my body becomes covered in [ Armament Haki ] then I use [ Blut Vene ] to cover my hands. After a few seconds, my whole body shines yellow with chakra. Even after training with Kurama for so long I was only able to the first Chakra mode from Kurama. My only goal right now is to defend I won't go on the offensive and let Diana vent out her anger, I know I deserve most of what's coming.

Diana suddenly jumped towards me pulling back her fist. The area she jumped from immediately caved in, as agust of wind blew behind her. I readied myself to take the punch by putting up my arm in a cross. As soon as I was hit by her fist the ground beneath me caved in, then within a few moments, a ginormous crater appeared beneath me. With that one punch, she easily broke through my defense but I was still able to hold on. There was a numbing pain coming from my arms but they already started healing.

Without much thought, she started to repeatedly punch me into the ground over and over. The area all around me caved in even more as the crater got bigger and bigger. She was letting out all her fury without holding anything back. In the middle of it all, I summoned my [ Hollow mask ] and covered my arms and back with [ Ice Devil Slayer magic ] as my previous prepared defense started to wear off.

All of a sudden she stopped punching and grabbed my leg, throwing me high into the sky. Dammit!! This was too much!! I encased my whole body in ice and prepared to take her hit as she jumped off from the ground leaving behind a trail of dust. Within moments she got above me and threw another punch which knocked me back to the ground. The punch immediately shattered the ice as the punch sent me rocketing towards the ground.

I crashed through several of the Amazon stone structures before finally stopping. Without wasting a single second Diana arrived right in front me again and pulled her fist back. At that moment,

"DIANA STOP!!" Hippolyta yelled with all her might towards Diana pleading her to stop. Her fist stopped right in front of my face as if she had finally regained her consciousness.

"Why...why would you do that?" As beads of tears flowed down for her eyes and a sad voice leaked out from Diana's mouth. Suddenly the blueish aura disappeared from around her as she collapsed on top of me.
