Chapter 55: The Lady’s True Feelings (2)

She paled as she said that; to what extent was she foolish? I'm sorry?

Amber was the perpetrator and Ernest was a victim. Amber felt foolish, she was timid and tearful and full of sadness. She bit her lips to stop herself from crying.

Ernest smiled bitterly as he said, 'Really…?'

She wanted to tell him that it was not as it seemed, but it was too late to refute. She could no nothing once the chance was gone. (Zuben: You could open your mouth)

Amber was puzzled by a situation that was vastly different from her expectations; she had no idea what to do. She opened her mouth, fearing that her weakness would make her unqualified thoughts come through when she saw a dark flame burn in Ernest's eyes.

He kissed her, biting her lips.

'Hn!' she cried out as his teeth grazed her delicate lips and he forced his tongue into her mouth. The kiss was not sweet or tender. He kissed her ferociously.

Amber was overwhelmed by the intensity; she tried to push Ernest away from her. But he held her tightly disallowing any resistance. His body was heavy on top of hers. Amber realized he had been cherishing her this past few weeks as she experienced his entire weight bearing down on her.

Even if it was untrue, Amber realized how deep his love for her ran. She could feel his uncontrollable pain and sorrow.

Ernest plundered her mouth as Amber bore tears that threatened to spill. He was everywhere, sucking and licking the little tongue that tried to escape him. He squeezed it as though he wanted to rob her of her heart.

His kisses were rough but Amber did not feel aversion to him, her body was filling up with familiar pleasures. She was happy despite knowing this was not real; she thought herself stupid and shallow.

She grew flushed and began to paint. Her sight became blurred as she began to cry,

'Ernest…' she called gently trying to placate him, 'please stop now.'

She was now determined to release him from the curse of the love potion. She will give him the antidote - for his happiness. After that, he would regret his actions today more than he would regret taking her. He was not the kind of man who would use a woman roughly without her consent; he would never. She knew, from these past six weeks, that he was a bright, generous and loving man.

She did not want her beloved Ernest to regret this day. She put her hand on his wide shoulders intending to stop him when she heard a light scrape of metal ringing loudly in the room. Ernest had reached down for his belt and was taking it off.

Why was he removed his belt?

Ernest grabbed her slender wrists and tied them together with his belt to keep her from resisting.

'Ernest, take it off.'

'No matter how much you wish it, my mind will never change in this lifetime.' He growled making her tremble, 'You absolutely will not escape.'

His golden eyes burned with dark intensity as he bound Amber.

'Ernest, please! Release me!'

She begged him, her violet eyes full of fear.

He gave her a mocking smile that looked sinister in the half-light of the evening.

'If you want to leave me, I will just keep you from leaving.'

'What do you mean…?'

His words induced a dark thrill within her; knowing that his love was mixed in his dark anger sent sweet shivers down her spine.

'I just love you, Amber.' (Zuben: Telling her you to love her isn't the answer to this clusterfuck)

Why was his large hand running down her dress to her lower belly? (Zuben: Why is it that Amber asks stupid questions)

'Let us make our children now so that you will never think you can leave me.'

Ernest's voice shook her tympanic membrane, she gasped. Despite the feel of the belt around her wrists, she felt his impossible love for the first time this evening.

His voice sounded so sweet it made her hips ache, so luscious that her brain felt like it would melt. (Zuben: He hasn't even done anything yet. And then when he starts doing, you start protesting)
