"Reporting to vice Captain, there was no daily report from the guards who were assigned to the entrance of the cave!" A Level 5 Spirit reported to his higher up, a level 7 Spirit.
"Hmm! I got it. Keep up the good job!" The level 7 Spirit, 'Merit', nodded and waved his subordinate away.
Once his subordinate left, Merit left to find his boss, the level 9 Spirit. He transversed through numerous twists and turns, finally stopping before an exotically decorated room. Unlike the other parts of the cave which were dimly lighted by moonstone, this place was more brighter and more luxurious. After all, they could not expect a level 9 Spirit to live his life in the prison.
"Mmh! I see. I guess we have intruders for the first time in a century. How interesting! I wonder which brave soul wanted to challenge us?" The Level 9 Spirit, Maxwel, laughed gently upon listening to Merit's report.
"Captain, What do we do now?" Merit lowered his head and asked in a low voice. He did not dare voice his opinions out and respectfully inquired his Captain's thoughts.
Give a suggestion to his captain? Merit did not want to lose his head! He did not have the qualifications!
"Since they have killed ours, I am 90% sure that their target is our prison. They were able to kill all of our guards without letting a single one escape, so I am sure that they must have sufficient strength or some uncommon methods, either way, all we have to do is increase our security. From now on, increase the number of patrols and you three take personal charge of it." Maxwel gave out his orders with a smile.
"Yes Captain!" Merit accepted his orders without showing any emotion. He did not dare show an expression.
Exiting his Captain's quarters, Merit sighed in relief. Every time he reported back to his Captain it seemed as if his life was in extreme danger. If Merit did not have strong control over his mouth and his face, he would have been killed long ago.
Spirits were cowardly creatures! They would easily betray their parents to save themselves! Precisely because of this, the Higher Up Spirits would never allow their subordinates to have different thoughts.
If Merit had voiced out his opinions in front of Maxwel, and if Merit's thoughts differed from Maxwel's, Merit would have no choice but to say goodbye to this world.
Precisely because of this reason, one must control their mouth and face when faced with their bosses!
"Now, I better follow Captain's words!" Merit hurriedly left to carry out the orders. Their 12th Squad oversaw the outermost part of the prison! Any intruders must pass through them to reach deeper into the cave. They must catch the intruders before they could wreak havoc!
....
"Is it me, or did the patrols suddenly become more frequent?" Little Feng's brows creased into a frown as she carefully avoided the third patrol in the last ten minutes.
"Hehe! It seems like they found us out! Feng come here, we are going to use this opportunity to increase your level." Hei Wang deduced the situation before pulling the invisible Feng Xue'er into his arms. She might be invisible, but she did not evade his Spirit Eyes.
Feng Xue'er let herself be pulled without resistance. "But, killing one would attract their attention, wouldn't it? It would only be a matter of time before the others surround us!" But she seemed worried.
"Hehe! Don't worry, I will show you some of my skill. Don't be surprised though, it is natural that I would have many talents, because I am Hei Wang!"
Little Feng rolled her eyes upwards to his face. Why was this guy so boastful all day?
But the next second, under her shaking expression, Hei Wang pulled out arrows, one after one, and placed them against the bow.
Under her bewildered eyes, he leaned front, touching his cheek with hers, he drew his fingers back and released the bow.
Whoosh!
Five arrows flew like the wind at the same moment and struck the five Spirit's abdomen, killing them in an instant!
"Grandmaster...." Feng Xue'er muttered.
Grandmaster, this term was in no ways used to describe a normal expert. A Grandmaster is someone who was said to have comprehend the true essence of the art. Because of this, Grandmaster could randomly give pointers to a noob, and the noob would be enlightened!
With his Spirit Eyes, Hei Wang obviously practiced Archery in his previous life. But unlike Feng Xue'er who was using Morpheus's help to advance smoothly, he treaded on this path solely, taking steps while carving a new path with his own hands.
Originally, he had planned to challenge Morpheus and ascend his Godhood as an Archery God, but he had changed his mind in-between and chose to challenge the Goddess of Darkness instead. Unfortunately, he lost and was forced to accept her help, thus cutting his potential to surpass her!
Anyway, his attainment in Archery was only a step below Morpheus before he chose the path of Darkness! Don't mention Grandmaster, calling him an Ancestor in Archery would be a understatement!
But that did not matter now! All that mattered was taking advantage of little Feng while she was still in a daze by his skill.
Hei Wang discreetly slipped his naughty tongue out and stealthily licked little Feng's cheek, also, he did not forget to lightly touch the end of her lips! His hands, which were free, quietly moved to her breasts, and stayed there, unmoving! Feeling those perfect ..... Hei Wang's eyes burned with praise and lust!
Poor Feng, she never found out that she was violated, still in trance with his skill, cough, Archery Skill.
