In the blink of an eye, three eyes have passed since he got his revenge, ever since then his body felt lighter and his days in the Da continent were peaceful. It took him a year to reach the ranks of a Cadet, a feat his father couldn't achieve and most of the people in the Da Continent. When his grandfather found this out he wanted to celebrate, however, Chen Ming forced him to keep it a secret. During the second his older brother came back for a little vacation. All five of the brother and the grandfather spent some quality time together before Chen Ming had to leave for the Sao Continent. Chen Ming left his pet dragon with his family to keep them safe. While in the Sao Continent Chen Ming was able to reach the highest rank of Sergeant with the help of a few friends he made along the way. Finally being strong enough to head towards the Demon territory, Chen Ming used a special transportation portal to get to the no-mans land.
In the no-mans-land, a young man was wandering around. The place was empty, just sand. As the wind blew the sand beneath Chen Ming's feet swirled up and flew away. Chen Ming has been here for a few days, he's been trying to get into the Demon territory but he doesn't seem to have any luck. Everywhere he looked all he could see was sand, sand and more sand. He needed to find the path that leads to the Demon Continent before he runs out of the water, once he does there might be no hope for him to find his parents.
On the fifth day in the no-mans-land Chen Ming finally grew desperate, he was now out of the water, the hot weather wasn't helping much either. Chen Ming walked around trying to find a portal of some sort that might take into the Demon Continent. Chen Ming walked around in circles, his body slowly started to get dehydrated. His eyes starting to get fuzzy but he still carried on walking, his body suddenly collapsed. His eyes were open but he couldn't see much.
Suddenly Chen Ming felt his body being lifted by someone, but he wasn't able to turn around and see who it was, nor was he able to resist and break free. Chen Ming started to panic, he thought that he was gonna die. The heat from the sun was too unbearable that Chen Ming fainted.
Chen Ming woke up, the first thing he saw was a small room. The place was dirty and cramped, however, Chen Ming didn't say anything after all these people might have helped him. His body no longer felt heavy and strained. He walked towards the room's door and opened it. The house wasn't very big so as soon as he opened the door he was in a small room that looked like the main room. There he was greeted by 4 males, one of them looked like he was in his mid-forties, one of them looked like he was in his twenties and the other two boys looked quite young around ten each. When the middle-aged man saw Chen Ming, he got up from the floor and went up to Chen Ming.
"You're finally awake, how are you feeling?", the man asked concerned about the young looking boy. Chen Ming gave a smile to the man and answered.
" I'm fine thanks to you", Chen Ming said as he did a 90-degree bow to thank the man in front of him. The man guided Chen Ming to where he was sitting before. The man was going to find a chair for Chen Ming but he refused and sat on the floor with the other males. The meal was a simple male consisting of bread and porridge, however, Chen Ming enjoyed it very much. After eating Chen Ming found a bit about where he was.
According to the middle-aged man who goes just by the name Yu, said that he was now in the Demon Continent. One cannot enter this place easily unless they have someone to guide them or they have a map to lead them in. The reason why Yu brought Chen Ming in wasn't said. Yu explained the general rules of this place and even gave a quick tour of the place.
Chen Ming stayed with the Yu family for a week, during the time he got to know the family more formally, he also took the time to cultivate. The eldest son also took him out every day to let him get familiarised with the place. At the start of the second week, the Yu family informed Chen Ming that they will be moving to the capital. In the capital, the Yu family will start working at the palace, what they will do is unknown.
Although Chen Ming wasn't part of their family Chen Ming insisted that he go with them to the capital. This way not only with Chen Ming be able to look around for his parents, but he might also be able to get some information on them. The Yu family and Chen Ming set off on their journey, from the countryside it took three days to reach the capital. Upon reaching they were faced with much difficulty moving around. Usually, the capital is busy and packed, however, today seemed overcrowded.
A large number of people moving around from one side to the other leaving a massive gap in the middle for carriages to drive past. Chen Ming didn't understand what was happening around him until Yu explained to them that the Emperor was coming back after being away for quite some time. The Yu family and Chen Ming stood among the people for some time before they headed off, not bothering to stand in such a crowed. Just as they were walking away they could hear cheers coming from the crowd of people, they all looked back to see a huge carriage, it looked elegant and sophisticated with its black and gold colouring.
Looking at the carriage Chen Ming couldn't help but think about the only person that has been running through his mind for the last three years. This looked like something that Li Jun would ride in. Chen Ming gave a sign of sadness and turned towards the Yu family and indicated for them to carry on their journey. What Chen Ming didn't realise was that from the carriage there is a pair of eyes staring at him eagerly until his figure completely disappeared.
