Chapter 32 - 32

Suddenly Zhao Yang felt his body being lifted by someone, but he was not able to turn around and see who it was, nor was he able to resist and break free. Zhao Yang started to panic, he thought that he was going to die. The heat from the sun was too unbearable that Zhao Yang fainted.

Zhao Yang woke up, the first thing he saw was a small room. The place was dirty and cramped; however, Zhao Yang did not say anything after all these people might have helped him. His body no longer felt heavy and strained. He walked towards the room's door and opened it. The house was not very big so as soon as he opened the door, he was in a small room that looked like the main room. There he was greeted by 2 males, one of them looked like he was in his mid-forties while the other one looked really young maybe 10. When the middle-aged man saw Zhao Yang, he got up from the floor and walked up to him.

"You're finally awake, how are you feeling?", the man asked concerned about the young-looking boy. Zhao Yang gave a smile to the man and answered.

" I'm fine thanks to you", Zhao Yang said as he did a 90-degree bow to thank the man in front of him. The man guided Zhao Yang to where he was sitting before. The man was going to find a chair for Zhao Yang, but he refused and sat on the floor. The meal was a simple male consisting of bread and porridge, however, Zhao Yang enjoyed it very much. After eating Zhao Yang found a bit about where he was. According to the middle-aged man who goes just by the name Yu, said that he was now in the Demon Kingdom. One cannot enter this place easily unless they have someone to guide them, or they have a map to lead them in. Yu explained why he brought Zhao Yang, and that was because he had saw him in the sandy desert, watching him for 5 days. He felt bad for him and decided to bring him. Yu also explained the general rules of the Kingdom and even gave a quick tour of the village.

Zhao Yang stayed with the Yu family for a week, during the time he got to know the family more formally, he also spent his 18th birthday with them. Although the family was not rich the Yu father made a delicious meal for his birthday. At the start of the second week, the Yu family informed Zhao Yang that they will be moving to the capital. In the capital, the Yu family will start working at the palace, what they will do is up to their employer. Although Zhao Yang was not part of their family Yu father insisted that he go with them to the capital. He did not think this was a bad idea as he could look around for his parents and maybe get some information on them. The Yu family and Zhao Yang set off on their journey, from the countryside it took three days to reach the capital. Upon reaching they were faced with much difficulty moving around. Usually, the capital is busy and packed, however, today seemed overcrowded.

A large number of people moving around from one side to the other leaving a massive gap in the middle for carriages to drive past. Zhao Yang did not understand what was happening around him until Yu explained to him that the Emperor was coming back from the inspection of the neighbouring Kingdoms. The Yu family and Zhao Yang stood among the people for some time before they headed off, not bothering to stand in such a crowded place especially with a young child.
