Chapter 39 - 39

" Why couldn't you leave, also why should I come looking for you, do you know how hard it was to come here?", Zhao Yang replied back with another question. Li Jun did not reply for quite some time, seeing that he does not have any intention of answering his question, Zhao Yang got up from the ground and was about to walk away when he felt someone grabbed his wrist. Zhao Yang already knew who it was, so he did not turn about to look.

" I'll tell you everything slowly but surely but let go home first. How does that sound?", Li Jun asked trying to convince Zhao Yang to come with him. Zhao Yang turned his head around with raised eyebrows as if questioning Li Jun. However, Li Jun did not seem to understand what Zhao Yang was trying to say which made roll his eyes.

" Guide the way", Zhao Yang said turning his body fully towards Li Jun, before they both walked out of the forest, hand in hand.

The moment Zhao Yang and Li Jun walked out of the forest they came face to face with ten, bulky built men standing in front of them. The grip on Li Jun's tightened, Li Jun thought that Zhao Yang was scared, however, that was not the case. Zhao Yang could sense that these men were not stronger than him.

Beating the crap out these men together would be easy; however, he had totally forgotten that Li Jun is much stronger than him and all these people combined. If he wanted to he can kill them all and leave no traces. However, Zhao Yang totally forgot how strong Li Jun was, he did not realise but he had subconsciously pulled Li Jun behind him, his action not only surprised Li Jun but the men that were standing in front of them too.

Unknown to Zhao Yang, who had his back to Li Jun, who had the biggest smile over his face. Seeing his smitten face the men froze on the spot. Seeing this man in front of them smile is rarer than anything in this world. They could see how protective this small man was of their master, they could not help but have a good impression of this man. Li Jun could not help but let out a peal of small laughter, hearing his laughter sent shivers down the men's spines. All of them one by one kneeled and greeted their master.

" Your Majesty", all the men said in union, leaving a confused and shocked expression on Zhao Yang 's face. He turned to look at Li Jun, who just shrugged his shoulders in response. Seeing his lover look more confused Li Jun could not help but engulf him in a hug from behind.

"Let's get into the carriage and I'll explain everything", Li Jun said as he let go of Zhao Yang who pouted at him for not hugging him longer, but he did not voice his thoughts. Zhao Yang watched as the man he had been searching for wait by the carriage, no one would know what was going through Zhao Yang 's mind at this moment. Deciding he was going to thoroughly interrogate Li Jun in the carriage Zhao Yang walked towards Li Jun. Before Zhao Yang got into the carriage Li Jun offered his hand to help Zhao Yang get into the carriage.
