14 When I grow up, I’ll be a mortal enemy OR the karma is a vicious circle!

I stand before a cavern, but what surprised me is not that it's a cavern! It's what it looks like!

Some members of the sect are dressed in black, transformed in shadow, lying in the lush grass, while children dressed and transformed in the same way are playing next to them, and some others are watering carpets of flowers, quietly and peacefully with a watering can…

My arrival is projecting rubbles, which kills 2 or 3 children by mistake, while the grass is teared off and the flowers are crushed.

-Uh?

Why do I have the impression to be the bad guy, here?

A child is crying and lamenting, beside her dead friend, a rubble stabbed in her skull.

I get a bit closer, to comfort her, being a reasonable and wise guy.

I'm still surprised, for three things:

The young girl is an elf, the dead girl is a dwarf, and a spear is closing in dangerously to my face!

-Woah!

I evade the blow at the last moment.

It seems they now have something against me!

But well, it's not like it's my fault anyway…

[…]

I'm standing before the only child alive.

I free my hand of the skull of the last adult.

Being decided to not kill nor traumatize innocents, I take a handkerchief and wipe the blood stains on her face and her clothes, before I wipe mine.

The child seems to be a bit terrorized, so I give up the idea to reassure her.

I leave to the next cavern.

After I'm gone, I don't see the child turn her head in my direction, her eyes burning of a new determination, with a bit of killing intent.

[…]

After some caverns, I can say I'm really troubled:

The hundreds of people I crossed until now are all innocents!

Unfortunately, I didn't have the key so they all attacked me. I had to defend my life unwillingly.

I have the impression that an invisible force is attracting innocent people so I'm forced to defend myself …

I feel like a MC breaking the 4th wall …

But well! I know I'm a pure, innocent and perfect man absolutely transparent, modest and honest!

[…]

I only crossed the path of civilians until now, so I started to worry.

But I learned something very interesting.

It is the base of the rebellion!

My arm totally lied to me!

He did that to assure that I do too much damage to reverse the situation!

Above all I'm quite for the rebellion against the empire, after all I'm not really the prince of the Empire, I would have liked to construct a relation with them.

But I still succeeded to explain myself with a lot of talent.

Anyway they have ways to resuscitate inside their base, so as long as I didn't destroy their souls, everything is fine.

To prove my goodwill, I released the soul of the assassin.

The door didn't necessitate the blood of a child, it was a lie, the important part was pure and innocent, adult or child… I never said I didn't pass, just that I was revolted by the idea to put child blood…

This is how I created an alliance with the rebellion.
