Chapter 95 - Shopping!!

Xin Mei looked at the advance of Su Yuchen and panic attacked her. She turned her face to the other side before Su Yuchen could kiss her.

Su Yuchen chuckled when he saw his now nervous wife. He placed his index finger under her chin and turned her face in his direction.

"Still not trusting your husband wife?" He asked with a slight hurt in his voice. "What should I do to prove that I will be always true to you?"

"I trust you Su Yuchen, It's just after my last relationship I think I have become a little insecure." She shrugged. "I couldn't take it that you were cheating on me. I lost all my logic before thinking the worse."

"Stop thinking the worse wife. Trust me, I will never cheat on you." he took her hand in his and kissed her knuckles.

"By the way, were you nervous when I was going to kiss you?" he asked in a teasing manner, he tried to change the topic to a lighter one.

Xin Mei blushed upon hearing him and nodded her head. "We haven't kissed before so..."

"Haven't kissed?" Su Yuchen raised his right brow and looked at her. His eyes were filled with mock accusation. "Don't tell me you still don't remember the night in city B where you have kissed me like an expert, wife."

Xin Mei's eyes widen when she heard him. Vague flashes of that night appeared in front of her. She couldn't control herself from blushing very hard.

"You remember that night, don't you?" he caressed her cheeks. The pink on her cheeks and ears was a giveaway that she remembered it. "You remember how badly you have attacked poor me and had taken away my first kiss."

"First kiss?" Xin Mei looked at him with surprise. Her wide eyes looking into his dark eyes.

"Yup, first kiss wife. You were and will always be my only kiss. That night, I was a novice but you have kissed me like an expert and have taught me a lot, my expert kisser wife."

Xin Mei blushed hard when she heard the endearment. She also blushed in embarrassment because she didn't think that she had taken away his first kiss.

"I think I am a very bad drunker." Xin Mei rubbed her nose.

"Nope, you are very good drunker. I will love to make you drunk in the closed walls of our room. I love that bold Xin Mei of that night."

"Stop teasing me." Xin Mei tried to protest and push upon the chest of Su Yuchen but he tightened his hold around her waist.

He pulled her closer and leaned toward her. "If not you then whom should I tease wife?"

He rubbed his nose against her before brushing his lips against hers. She closed her eyes in anticipation and clutched hard on his shirt.

'This time I am not going to push him away. I have already kissed him so he had all the rights to kiss me.' She thought and waited for the kiss.

She waited and waited for the kiss which never arrived. She opened her eyes and looked at Su Yuchen. He was looking at her with dark eyes.

"I will not kiss you till you start to completely trust me. I want you to trust me before we can take our relationship further."

He spoke and parted away from her. Seeing his dark gaze and lower body part, Xin Mei could say it was hard for him to leave her.

Su Yuchen was about to enter the bathroom when Xin Mei called for him. "Su Yuchen, do you trust me?"

"I trust in you, wife. I can trust you with my eyes closed. I know you will never cheat upon me. I trust your good heart and value of your parents which you have."

Xin Mei smiled when she heard him. She watched him entering the bathroom and scolded herself. How could she doubt on a man like Su Yuchen? She mentally made a promise to herself to never doubt him!

Next day, when Xin Mei woke up, Su Yuchen had already left for the office. She woke up, only to come across the small note which was left by Su Yuchen for her.

There is an important meeting in the office

So I have to leave for the office. I have prepared breakfast for you. Have it before starting your day.

Your husband (the one who is trying to gain your trust)'

Xin Mei smiled when she read his signature. She also smiled with happiness that he informed her where he was going, unlike others.

Xin Mei stood up from the bed and walked toward the bathroom. She freshened up before calling Gu Nan, reminding her of the shopping.

"Xin Mei, do you need to remind me of shopping? Don't you know what a big shopaholic I am? From the past two days, I am waiting for today!" Xin Mei could hear an excitement-filled voice from the other side of the phone. She could only shake her head at her foolishness.

After hanging up on Gu Nan, Xin Mei made her way to the kitchen. There she had the food cooked by Su Yuchen. She must say that he was really good cook. She didn't think her husband could cook so well.

After breakfast, Xin Mei packed a small purse, which contained her id, cards, and mobile. Once ready, she reached the parking and selected a car, making her way towards the mall.

Xin Mei reached their destination, which was the unity mall. Unity mall was one of the biggest malls in the city. This mall had a showroom of every brand, big to small. This mall was also famous to have early collection stock of every brand before the other malls.

The stock of brands at this mall was always up-to-dated and that was the reason Xin Mei decided unity mall as the place for her shopping.

'Xin Mei, I am waiting for you at café. Come and meet me at our regular booth.' She received a message from Gu Nan.

Xin Mei knew about their favourite café and the booth so she made her way towards it. When she reached her booth, she found Gu Nan who was drinking a milkshake and was having a hamburger.

"Take a seat, Xin Mei," she waved her hand toward Xin Mei. Xin Mei sighed and took her seat. "Now start telling me about your marriage and other details, meanwhile I will finish breakfast."

Gu Nan didn't beat around the bush and directly asked Xin Mei for the gossips. She was dying to know how her friend got married and what they did after marriage.

Xin Mei sighed. She knew Gu Nan wasn't going to leave her without getting any gossips. So she told Gu Nan about her marriage, in very much details without missing anything.

"Aren't you a lucky girl? You found yourself a gem like Su Yuchen," Gu Nan grinned and placed her glass back on the table.

"I can't wait to see the faces of Zhou Mingyu and Qian Fan when they will know about your good luck. They wanted to see you in the loss but see who is in loss now."

"Gu Nan, don't forget that our marriage is a secret. You are not allowed to disclose about it to anyone." Xin Mei reminded her with little scolding.

"Aye, aye captain. I remember not to disclose it. Besides, I will help in hiding your relation. You know media has this much power." She said with smug.

"Now stop talking and finish your breakfast. We are getting late for shopping."

Gu Nan nodded her head and quickly finished her food. Then both friends made their way inside the mall.
