Chapter 209 - Stop slandering Xin Mei!

Xin Mei felt glad that she had asked her expert brother to retrieve this three-year-old video. She had lost the hope to find this video, but Xin Yan had done this impossible thing. He found the video and sent it to her within two hours.

Xin Mei opened the video on her mobile and showed her mobile screen to everyone.

"You all were slandering me without any proper proof. Now I will see what you will say after seeing the reality of Chang Xinyi after seeing my proof. Please focus on the video which I will play on my mobile."

And with that, Xin Mei played the video on her mobile. In the video, two girls could be seen, one was an unknown girl while the other was Chang Xinyi. The quality of the video was very clear, so everyone could easily identify Chang Xinyi.

"Xinyi, do you love Chen Bai?" the unknown girl spoke with shock in her voice.

"Are you mad?" Chang Xinyi chuckled. "I don't love him. I am with him only for his fame and money. By being with him, I am sure that I will get a quick success in the film industry."

The unknown girl sighed when she heard Xinyi. "I am glad to hear from you. Otherwise, I thought you have fallen in love with him and would also leave your filmy career only for him."

"Nah, I can never fall in love with him. He is not my type. I want to marry a very rich businessman who can place this whole world on my feet, unlike Chen Bai."

And with that, both friends shared a laugh. Video in the mobile of Xin Mei also ended.

Chang Xinyi looked at Xin Mei and her mobile screen with wide eyes. Her face had also turned pale. She didn't think her conversation with her best friend was recorded by Xin Mei.

Then Su Zixin dialled the number of the manager who was handling the auction ball. The manager was by his side within a minute and Chang Xinyi was thrown out of the hotel before she could create any drama.

"Everyone, please take your seats. We are about the start the bidding. Please don't let a crazy female spoil the mood for the night." Mister Mo, host of the night announced in his microphone.

Hearing him, everyone walked to their appointed seats. They were still talking about the drama which had unfolded in front of their eyes. They were also regretting that they had said bad words about Xin Mei.

"Now that everyone is here, I have an announcement to make. Due to some unforeseen reasons, Mister Su cannot be present here. So, he had appointed Mister Chen Bai to bid in his place."

Silence fell upon everyone when they heard the host. They all thought Su Yuchen would enter royally after some time. They didn't think that he was absent from the night.

"Hash, I came here without any use. I thought I will meet mister Su and will talk business with him. But now my time is completely wasted."

"Don't say that. I have heard that Mister Su will personally thank the highest bidder. Now, we have to bid highly to get his attention."
