Chapter 296 - He is also very cruel!

Su Yuchen was not done celebrating the first success of Xin Mei by baking only a cake. He wanted to throw a big party for her to celebrate her success and it was not a new thing in the film industry.

So, hiding behind the name of Xin Jin and He Ye, he planned a party for Xin Mei, which was to be kept as a surprise from her. 

He planned a list of people who were to be invited to the celebratory party, the only difference was, the invitations were given by He Ye, Xin Yan or Su Zixin.

He could not disclose his identity to others but he could use his family to hide about his identity.

Su Yuchen had planned the celebratory party at the top hotel in the city and from the morning itself, he was looking after all the arrangements, personally.

He had called Xin Yan and He Ye to the hotel, but from the time they had arrived in the ballroom, they were sitting on chairs and were looking at Su Yuchen who was giving orders. He did not let them do any work.

"What is this? Do not place that poster there, yes place it on that wall. Not that wall, but on that wall!" from the morning itself, Su Yuchen had given the same instructions to many workers. He was not satisfied with the decorations which were  by the staff.

We wanted everything in the party to be perfect. He wanted to make Xin Mei very happy with all the preparations which were done under his supervision. 

He wanted every flower, every decoration to be placed very properly and for that, he was continuously giving orders to the useless event management team.

"I thought only Xiao Mei is dangerous when it comes to party planning, but look at Su Yuchen. He is more dangerous." Xin Yan gulped in fear and looked at Su Yuchen.

"Yes, he is more dangerous. Look at those poor workers."

He Ye felt bad for the workers who were climbed up on the makeshift stairs and were decorating the ceiling of the ballroom. Many workers very hung on the railings and were trying to decorate it.

"Boss, here is the camellia as ordered by you." A worker passed the said flowers to Su Yuchen, only to froze the very next second.

"Didn't I specially said red and white flowers instead of blue and white?" he glared at the worker and at that the flowers.

"But boss, red and white camellia are available only in City I. I can't find them anywhere in the city A."

"I don't know if you can find them here in the city A or City I. I want those flowers. Drive to the city I is hardly of three hours', make the journey and give me the flowers in the next five hours."

The worker looked at Su Yuchen with wide eyes. He was to make six hours of total journey within five hours. He also had to find the flowers!

"But boss…."

"Stop arguing with me." He glared at him. "Run, run, your time is running fast."

The worker knew Su Yuchen was serious. He prayed to god and dashed to find the flowers.

"If you can't find the flowers then make yourself and your family disappear from this city," Su Yuchen threatened him which increased the speed of the worker.

"Please save me today." He entered the car and drove it at the fastest speed, at which he had never driven the car before.

"Zixin, where are you?" Su Yuchen called Su Zixin and spoke in an angry voice. "And where is your band team? Didn't you say it will be here in the morning?"

"Brother, they had a concert in the city H. They will be here by the evening. Don't worry." Su Zixin replied with nervousness.

"Zixin, I am warning you. If the band didn't come here on time then I am cutting off your allowances for the next year." Su Yuchen threatened dangerously.

Su Zixin became irritated when he heard Su Yuchen. In his irritation, he yelled, "big brother, why are you torturing me like this? How can I invite a well-known band team to city A at a short notice of only two days? You know that only you who can do this magical work but still…"

"…You have to force me to contact them and invite them to the party of Xiao Mei. We are already very lucky that they agreed and ready to accept my invitation because of my reputation."

"Stop making the excuse of short notice. Do not forget who you are. Inviting a band team should be an easy task for you." Su Yuchen spoke.

Su Zixin groaned when he heard Su Yuchen. Su Yuchen had given him work to invite a band team for the celebratory party of Xin Mei. He could have personally invited them but he was afraid that his identity may get exposed in that way.

So, he had given this small task to Su Zixin who was cursing his big brother from the last two days. He was trying his best to invite that team for the party.

The moment, Su Yuchen hung up on Su Zixin, he received a call from Xin Mei.

"Chen, where are you? I am at your office but you are not here."

Su Yuchen smiled when he heard the voice of Xin Mei. With actions, he gave orders.

"Mei, I am out of the city to attend some important work." Everyone looked at him with wide eyes. They were shocked by the change of his tone and the way he lied so smoothly.

"Oh, I was at your office to have lunch with you. When are you coming back?"

"I will come in the evening, Mei." Su Yuchen mocked sadness in his voice. 

He talked naturally with her as if he was attending some meeting in the neighbouring city and was very sad about not having lunch from the hand of Xin Mei.

After ending the call, he looked around.

"Why are you looking at me like this? Be quick, we still have lots of work to do."

Workers jumped when they heard the loud voice of Su Yuchen. They started to move faster to complete their work.

"And you two, stop talking like girls, go and check upon the preparation of food for the night."

He Ye and Xin Yan jumped when they heard Su Yuchen. Without wasting any second, they made their way towards the garden of the hotel where dinner was organized.
