Chapter 376 - Bomb blast.

"Chen, leave me. Otherwise, we will get late for our work."

Xin Mei pushed Su Yuchen who was not ready to leave her side.

"Shh, don't speak. Let me sleep for some more time." Su Yuchen tightened his hold around her waist and rubbed his cheek against her before again falling asleep.

Xin Mei sighed when she looked at the attic of her husband.

"Haven't you become lazy? You have missed your gym in the past week because you want to sleep with me. If this continues then in no time you will get fat."

"I will not get fat because I am doing double hard work during night and in the morning." He teased and the next second Xin Mei yelled with pleasure when he entered inside her from her back.

"Chen…you…you…you." her sentence was left incomplete and soft m.o.a.ns started to leave from her mouth because of the pleasure which Su Yuchen was giving to her.

"I love this kind of good morning."

Su Yuchen tilted the body of Xin Mei in such a way that now she was lying on her stomach. He climbed on her back and started to rock inside her. Loud m.o.a.ns and groans filled in the room as Su Yuchen and Xin Mei found their pleasurable release.

"Mei, can we not stay at home for today?" Su Yuchen murmured and kissed on her ear lobe.

"No, leave me. I should leave now. I am already late for filming." Xin Mei pushed Su Yuchen who was continuously giving butterfly kisses on the hollow of her neck and shoulder. "You should get ready. Don't forget, today you have a very important meeting about which you were preparing from the last week. So, hurry and get up. Let me go now."

"I will let you go but I have one condition. Take a break for the next two days. I want to spend my weekend with you. What's say?"

"Ok, I will talk with the director about the same. Now let me go."

Su Yuchen sighed when he heard Xin Mei. He rolled towards the other side of the bed and let Xin Mei go. He looked at Xin Mei who entered the bathroom and a groan escaped his lips.

Didn't know why but today he did not wish to go to his office. He wanted to spend his day in her company.

After getting ready and after having breakfast, Xin Mei and Su Yuchen left the house for their respective workplaces. Xin Mei was in a hurry because she was one and a half hours late, which had never happened before.

She had also sent a message to the director, informing him that she would be coming late. This way he could shoot some extra scenes before her arrival.

Xin Mei arrived on the sets and quickly rushed towards the changing room where Fang Lin was waiting for her. Fang Lin quickly helped her in changing her dress and informed her about the scenes of the day.

"Xin Mei, are you alright? Why are you late today?" Gu Biyu asked with concern when she saw Xin Mei.

"I am alright aunty. I just overslept. I guess I am tired of juggling between shoots of both movies."

Gu Biyu nodded her head in understanding. "I second you. I have small scenes in the movies but still, I feel fatigued and tired. I could only imagine the tiredness which you must be feeling right now."

Xin Mei nodded to her and rushed towards the set where the director called her. Director gave her the small description of the scene before Xin Mei gave the shoot within one take.

"Director,  can I take a leave for two days?" Xin Mei requested to the director after her first scene.

"Why? What happened Xin Mei? Are you all alright? Today you were late and now you need a leave?" director looked at her with worry and concern.

"I am all good director. It's just I feel tired and fatigued due to the filming. I was thinking if I can get a leave to have some rest…"

Director sighed in relief when he heard her. "You can take the leave, Xin Mei. Before everything, heath comes after all."

Xin Mei smiled when she heard the director and walked towards her seat. She drunk the refreshers given to her by Fang Lin and read the script.

Then she gave all of her scenes for the day with full professionalism. It was her time to pack up when the director informed her that he wanted to film another scene with her.

Xin Mei didn't reject seeing how he had accepted her leave without second thinking and as a professional, it was her duty to give all the scenes as required by the director.

Xin Mei messaged to Su Yuchen, informing him about the same. Then she acted on the last scene of the day. It took her one hour to finish the scene because the scene was important and one of the difficult scenes.

"Xin Mei, all ready to go home?" Gu Biyu entered the changing room of Xin Mei and took her seat beside her.

"Yup, I am already." Xin Mei smiled and send off Fang Lin who was getting late.

"So, have you taken the leave to spend some quality time with your husband?" Gu Biyu teased Xin Mei after Fang Lin was gone.

"You are right." Xin Mei replied with a small blush on her cheeks and looked down.

Gu Biyu chuckled upon seeing the fl.u.s.tered expression on her face.

"I guess, your husband loves you very much."

"He loves me very much, more than anything. I am very lucky to marry him." Xin Mei looked at her image in the mirror with a dreamy expression on her face where Gu Biyu smiled.

Once Xin Mei had packed her bag with some stuff which she brought from her home, she and Gu Biyu made their way towards the parking. They were talking about the bed life of Xin Mei and the stamina of Su Yuchen which made Gu Biyu chuckle from time to time.

When they entered the parking, they heard a loud blast, which made their heart jump.

Eyes of Xin Mei went wide when she saw her car bouncing up in the air and colliding against the roof before falling down on the ground. There was smoke all around in the air. She looked at her car with shock and the next second, very quickly her guards came rushing towards her.

"Miss, there was a bomb in your car. We should clear the area."

Heart of Xin Mei started to beat fast when words of one of the guards registered in her mind. 

There was a bomb in her car! 

Someone tried to kill her!
