Chapter 414 - I am the second son of Su family.

They were asked some more questions about their love life before the questions which the haters of Xin Mei were asking were put forth in front of them.

"Miss Xin, citizens are asking if you got all the success because of your relationship with mister Su, can you comment on it?"

"Citizens are smart and they can see that she got her success because of her strong acting skills." Su Yuchen replied for Xin Mei, again. She rolled her eyes.

'Why am I even present here when Su Yuchen is the one replying to the questions for me?'

"Besides, if she wanted to use connections, she could have become a big star using the connection of her uncle, He Jichen and her cousin He Ye. We all know their management company is also big. They could have launched Xin Mei and made her a big star in no time."

"But mister Su, there is a different in having a connection with you and Mister He." One reporter daringly countered Su Yuchen and Su Yuchen glared at him.

"Yes, there is a bit different. He Ye may give importance to the family relations in business but everyone knows that I always keep my family relation different from the business."

"And I am the proof." Su Zixin added in. He leaned against his microphone and targeted all the reporters.

Camera operators turned their cameras toward him and started to film him. At the same time, Gu Nan sent a message to her assistant, asking him to release all the proves on television that Su Zixin was the second son of Su family.

"My big brother here," gasps filled in the garden with the four words of Su Zixin. "He never let family connection work in the business world and that is the reason, I have to change my identity as his brother to work in the film industry. He did not let me use the undue advantage of my identity."

"Many of you, must have guessed by now, I am the brother of Su Yuchen, second son of Su family." After announcing his identity, Su Zixin leaned against his chair. He looked at the surprised expression on the faces of the reporters with a smirk on his lips.

"Mister Su, mister Su, is it true that Chen Bai is your brother?"

"Su Zixin. And he is my brother." Su Yuchen replied. "Now you know, if I cannot let my brother use the connection of Su family, then how can I let my wife use it? What she has earned so far is her success and I am very proud of her."

Many more questions were asked from them, to which Su Yuchen replied sharply and in short. 

When he got fed up with the questions, ignoring the questions of the reporters, he stood up from his seat. He carried Xin Mei in his arms and made his way inside the house. Leaving Huang Chu behind to send off the reporters.

"I hope your questions were answered by the boss. Now you all may leave."

Reporters grumbled and looked at their notes with unasked questions. But who were they to the complaint? They had already received many things from this interview which they could use for the viewership of their channel. They were not aware that Gu Nan was ahead of them.

Gu Nan was grinning from ear to ear because she got a call from her assistant that their show was going hit because they had announced that Su Zixin was the second son of Su corporations before any other channel, also, they had more data than the other channels.

"MeiMei, you are my lucky charm." Gu Nan squealed and rushed inside the house of Xin Mei and Su Yuchen. She gently hugged Xin Mei. "I am sure, after this reporting, I will get a promotion for sure. Then I will become show head and no need for traveling."

"You know you don't need to work so hard for promotion? I can get you promoted anytime." Su Yuchen pointed out.

"What's the fun in that?"

For the next few days, the film industry was at a buzz with the news about the marriage of Xin Mei. Many fan bases had come on the surface who were shipping both Su Yuchen and Xin Mei.

A couple of social media accounts at their couple name were formed where their photos were posted. Citizens were gushing about how they were able to keep their wedding hidden for so long. 

'He must be so proud of her when presenting her with the best actress award.' Someone posted the photos from the award show from the last year where Su Yuchen was presenting the trophy to Xin Mei.

'I am sure this bowl had the slips with the name of Xin Mei only.' Someone posted the photo of the bowl from the birthday party of Su Yuchen.

Many more such photos were posted. People were gushing and wanted to prove themselves to be the best fan of Xin Mei and Su Yuchen.

Soon with time, the haters were dominated by the fans of Xin Mei. They were excited to know that Xin Mei was married to Su Yuchen. They were called the magic couple. Best couple of the country.

Su Zixin was also getting many fames after disclosing that he was the second son of Su family. Producers and directors had started to worship him. He also started to receive many more offers from Hollywood.

The rich spoilt girls who used to look down at a star like him started to approach him. They  wanted one thing, getting the name of Su attached to their name.

'Argh, why had I disclosed about my identity to support Xiao Mei? My life was already a hell before and now…" he groaned repeatedly.

Suspicious wife, the movie of Xin Mei, released in the absence of Xin Mei and without much promotion, it was still able to earn a lot of fame and money.

This acted as a huge relief to Xin Mei. She realised she was still loved. Her fans truly loved her and liked her acting. They did not think that she got the role because of some connections.

Again, her acting skills were proved and the haters who dared to slander the acting skills of Xin Mei were slapped hard on their faces.
