Chapter 10 - Huangshan City, Guo Jing of the Guo Family

Shadow Killer handed over the 15,000 gold coins reward. Almost all the adventurer's saw that Feng Shaotian's reward money was double and even triple the money they received.

Some of them were envious while other's have eyes shining with greed. Shadow Killer saw their reaction and couldn't help but shake his head in pity. Even though he didn't saw what Feng Shaotian did in the fight, he still got some information.

According to his master, there were two S rank talent that showed up from the group of bandits but, they haven't even able to land a hit in a 2 vs. 1 fight.

Although his master doesn't know all the details, he still know how monstrous Feng Shaotian's butler is. If it was him fighting those two S rank, he would be lucky enough to leave unscathed.

After bidding each other farewell, Feng Shaotian went back to his carriage to continue on their journey.

Their group finally arrived at Huangshan City after several days of traveling. Even though they were attacked on the way by some dumb thieves and adventurers who was blinded by greed. Ding Bang easily taken care of them and took all their belongings.

'So this is Huangshan City' Feng Shaotian thought looking around curiously. He found that the buildings design here was different from what was commonly seen on earth. Lot's of buildings lined up, from commerce, inn, bar almost all a person needed could be satisfied here without any problem.

They checked to an inn for a stay of few days. Feng Shaotian roamed around the city, to the bar, market place, and so on. He gathered lot's of useful information that might be crucial for his stay.

He found out that there were 3 great clan residing this city, they all hold 20% of the city's property while the remaining 40% are personally owned by the city lord. Various Chamber of Commerce also flocks here, one of them was his acquaintance, the Red Tulip Chamber of Commerce.

Busily strolling around, he found a store called Jiaying. From time to time customer would go in and out, he went inside to take a look and found out that they were selling Golden Rice but the quality and quantity was low.

Golden Rice have good effects on a persons body, it helps it develop more spiritual energy giving a person boost of talent. However, demand of this product is high but low on supply.

Feng Shaotian bought 100,000 bags used for storing goods which cost him 1,000 gold coins. Cleaning all of Jiaying's bag stocks.

When they were traveling, they encountered lot's of merchant along the way and Feng Shaotian didn't let the opportunity passed by without doing anything. He sold some of his Golden Rice stocks in a market price so his money risen up a bit.

He have accumulated 24,000 sacks of Golden Rice and other products which is almost half of the mission given by the system. There are lots of mȧturė Golden Rice that can be harvested in his mini world and was only lacking sack bags. Even though he have many of them, compared to the things he have to harvest, it's still lacking.

After he's done. Feng Shaotian hurried to leave, however he felt that someone bumped him. It was a young boy wearing gorgeous clothes, from his stature it could be said that he's from a great family.

"Hey kid!. You got balls bumping me like ordinary folk. See this? You make my clothes dirty, do you want me to kill you or you'll kill your dog life with your own hands!?" The young man arrogantly said.

Feng Shaotian frowned and replied snappily, "I didn't see you, you're too short to be noticed. You should consider wearing high heels to make up for your shortcomings".

"High heels?" The young man asked confused, he want to ask Feng Shaotian for inquiry only to see his mocking grin.

"F*ck! You dared mocking me?! The young master of the Guo family, Guo Jing?" Guo Jing furiously said.

He was the third son of the current patriarch of the Guo family, when was the last time someone mocked him blatantly?.

Many people happily watched the conflict however, hearing that one of them was Guo Jing from the Guo family, they couldn't help but take a step back. Guo Jing was famous for his viciousness, he even kicked an old man just because he's old.

"It really is Guo Jing, I heard that he was only an F rank when he was born? He even became the first F ranker in their family, and broke the record for the most useless son in the history of the three great family"

"yeah.. I heard about that too. He was also the weakest among the younger generation, he only know how to bully the weak while fearing the strong, I really pity his father"

"right! but that kid sure is unlucky to make Guo Jing so angry"

"You deserve to die!!" Guo Jing angrily shouted.

Feeling Guo Jing's outburst, some people couldn't help but exclaim "Run kid! Save your life!".

Guo Jing dashed and throw a punch when he accidentally stepped on a place that is a little wet. His body got unbalanced by the sudden change on his foot and slipped down.

He stumbled down head first to the floor. The crowd didn't know how to react by this sudden change, the fight haven't started yet but Guo Jing was already finished.

His bodyguard immediately helped him up, giving him a hand. Guo Jing's eyes were red, in anger, after becoming a laughingstock. His face looked like a ferocious beast ready to eat anything in his way. However, the young man who bumped him was nowhere to be found. 'Did he just left like that? Bastard! I'll search for you and take that doglife of yours!'.

"Why did you let him leave just like that?! Idiot!" Guo Jing reprimanded and kicked his bodyguard for being useless.

Guo Jing gritted his teeth hard that it clatters like metal hitting each other. He tasted defeat at the hands of someone he doesn't even know, he swear that this matter would not end till one of them is dead.

He then left the place afterwards. Staying there would only make him uncomfortable.

In an alleyway, two silhouettes silently showed up. Both of them have S rank markings on their Violet Robe but was hidden. They blended among the crowd of people like ordinary citizen while talking to each other.

They keep scanning everyone they passed through, anticipating that it might be him. However, the city was too big. After a few hours of searching they still haven't found what they were looking for within the crowd of people walking in the busy street.

"Hey Ling Bing, are we really going to accept his offer? You know that—"

"I know that you said we won't accept his offer even if it means death, but when I think about it, he's our only hope. Lots of our brothers wanted to leave underground already, they were just afraid of the faction head killing or hunting them. As long as that person is alive, no one would leave underground in fear of losing their lives" Ling Bing said with hateful eyes.

When he was there in the underground faction at that time, he unintentionally learned that his family was killed not because of the sects but because of the underground itself. They created a scheme using their spies in each sects to make everyone divert their attention away from what's the real truth.

The Underground Faction scheme finally succeeded when his wife got mental breakdown because of them abducting and killing Ling Bing's loyal brother who helped her. His wife decided to end her life blaming herself as the reason of their death's. Not considering her son and daughter that would be left behind.

Although he already know this happened, Ling Bing was helpless. He might be powerful in the eyes of others but compared to the people in the underground, he looked no different from a young calf.

"This is the only way we can leave Underground Faction safely. If he can guarantee the safety of us and our brothers family's, then let's accept his offer" Ling Bing continued.

Tang Bai nodded his head in response. He know Ling Bing's past, that's why he joined underground to help him get over. He decided that whatever decision Ling Bing take, he would unconditionally agree with it.
