6 The General

Jakarta at night, in a Luxury Suite of 5 star hotel, a middle age man half naked sitting on a bed, even in his forties, he have a muscular figure, and there are a few scars can be seen all over it.There are a few bottle next to him, it seems he have been drinking. Even though there is a beautiful woman laying naked next to him, he has his attention fully on the TV news.

The news reporting an incident that happen a few days ago. A police operation gone wrong, DENSUS 88 an Indonesian police special forces similar to SWAT in United States, right in the middle of a mission to eradicate terrorist cell, ended up killing an innocent civilian during cross fire. Although the mission successfully killing 11 terrorist member, there was also a casualty of 2 police member. The half naked guy who currently watching the news knows both of the decease police member pretty well. In fact he is their trainer and their superior. His name is Rico, Indonesian police Brigadier General. The lowest ranking General but compare to all the other General he is the youngest ever having this position. A rising star in the police department. Although the government praise him, even the President personally gave him a reward. he never care for them, he only thought on the lost innocent life and loosing his subordinate.

Recently the terrorist/religious extremist are getting more daring and out of control. The last few month there are 3 attempted and 1 successful bombing. The government currently giving a lot of heat to his department. He took another bottle, drink them and continue on with his "sessions".

Rico dedicate all his life to the country, he's a patriot hence he never have time for family, his wife left him along time ago. all his mind and energy he gave for his country, his comrade and sometimes to his "hobby".When the "session" finish. the beautiful girl left the room, obviously this girl is one of his favorites escort, as he call on her when he's down. After he went for shower he heard a knock.

"Did you left something?" Rico said,

But when he open the door, it is not the girl, its a guy wearing black clothes, a simple clothes mask and holding a gun to his head. The guy said a word slowly to him "No sound, raise your hand and slowly get inside"

Rico's brain start calculating, he has been in many similar situation before, but he sense a few things missed, the first; Rico has 2 of his subordinates outside, not far from his room, it seem this guy disabled them and took their gun, the gun pointing at him is a Glock, not easily find in this country. and the second reason, obviously this guy knows him, and Rico himself is an active policemen with black belt in Pencak Silat (Indonesian martial art), but this masked guy eyes and voice is just too relax.

The guy sit on the chair facing him and start talking, "Dont you worry General Rico, i am here just to talk, Actually i came here to help you, i want to be your friend"

Rico said "if you really want to be my friend what with the mask and gun"

"i cant be too careful these days General, but you got a point"

The mask guy response shock him, the guy actually put down the gun on the table, and took out his mask, the guy face looks like an ordinary family man, but the smile he gave and his eyes scared him.. he can tell from his experience, this man is dangerous, thisguy put down the gun as if there is no difference with it or without it.

Yes, the black clothes man is Alex, he has 10 years of constant dangerous near death experience in his past life. it seems Rico can feel it. Rico asked "what is your name and what do you want?"

Alex replied casually with a smile "At the moment i think i will keep my name secret, this few days i will be very busy, i dont want you and your friend to annoy me. and for your second question, its not what i want, its actually what you want. in this USB i have a data information of some terrorist cell base location in Indonesia, all the one that i know. I trust you know what to do with it"

Rico brain start calculating again, who is this guy and what is that he really want?, is he part of the terrorist? that is why he know so much? i should try to capture him and interrogate him later.

Rico then suddenly pick up a bottle near him and throw it to Alex. He then quickly aiming for the gun on the table, but he shocks to see how Alex easily crush the bottle with a punch and took a second gun on his back and put it on Rico's head. "He's fast" Rico suddenly regret and feel stupid of his action, he forget to calculate the other gun from his second subordinate. he blame it on the alcohol for his bad decision.

While holding the gun Alex said"wrong move general, if its other people i would already pull the trigger, but i like you general, i feel like meeting an old friend" in fact Alex knows the General in his past life at that time the General was one of the leading figure and his friend."Take this USB, trust me you will be thanking me. My only wish that you'll be able to eradicate most of them by this month or it will be trouble latter. Also i hope you can tell me the report afterwards. i will be leaving now, i guess the noise will bring more trouble."

Alex took the gun on the table and casually walk out the room" Rico said "how can i give you a report if i dont know how to reach you"

"Dont worry General i will contact you" as Alex walk out the room and stealthy avoiding the hotel camera, he than take a look at his hand and its currently bleeding.. "Damn... currently my body is still normal, what a stupid move.. if my wife sees it how should i explain.."
