12 Power Up

The of end of days come with a disease, even after 11 years, we humankind still have no idea why and how did it happens.We only know what the aftermath did to us. About 80% of the people died with it, but actually the whole 100% of the human and even the whole living things in the world get infected.The one who died with it return to life as a walking dead, a zombie. The one who lived also affected, they mutated. Humans, animals, plants, all lifeforms slowly mutated into something else.For the human survivors, everyone also slowly mutated, we become stronger and faster.

Muscle strength, reaction speed, flesh and bones density, stamina, regeneration speed, all slowly increases. Later the Doomsday Pillars show us that humans have the capability to break the boundaries of their bodies.It separated into 4 realms. Each with its own 30 levels and divided into low, middle and high stage.

The first is the Mortal realms, normal humans start with the low stage, level 10 to level 15 can be the different between an unfit person and a trained soldier. the middle stage are the specially trained human, it has the running speed of gold medal sprinter like Usain bolt, a stamina of a professional mountain climber and muscle strength of a heavy weight boxers. The high stage are the limit of human body, that is why it called the Mortal Realm. It will have 3 times the strength, the speed, the endurance of the middle stage. When the body reach level 30, it turn into the peak of Mortal realm, it will reach a bottleneck and the only secret to upgrade the realm is within the Doomsday pillars. Hence the reasons that the pillars is the hope for survival to the humankind.

The next Realm are the Earth Realm, The Sky Realm and the Saint Realm. In his past life Alex was at the low stage Sky realm, at that level he already consider a leading figure to a humankind. As the Saint rank, they were the human greatest warrior, they were very rare, Alex only knew a few of them.

The plague naturally turn every living things, human and beast are gradually transforms, but each bodies have different reaction, some it would take more than 5 years to reach peak of Mortal realms naturally, some only require 1 year,and some rare lucky individual even receive special power, The pillar named these individuals as the Evolve. They have the talent to improve not only as the body enhancer but also as spirit enhancer.Actually spirit enhancer are not really an alien terms, histories has note a few people around the world who successfully understand the foundation of a spirit enhancer, but around the world they were known with other name, such as; magic, cakra, dao, psychic and many more. The mutation only make their talent in spirit become many time stronger.The greatest warrior Alex ever met in his past life are the Evolve Saint who could manipulate fire.But in the end he also ended up perish when surrounded by hundreds of mutated beast.

There are 2 ways to increase a person level and reach their peak realm. One is by naturally within time of constant fighting, and another is the faster way is by consuming a spirit stones that sometimes can be salvage from the bodies of mutated beast or zombies.

At the moment, in Alex hand there are 50 pieces of white spirit stones. He's currently thinking what is the best way to use it. One is to recharge the Golem, it will make the Golem stronger and be able to be used longer. Or to consume and make himself and some other people stronger.

At the end of his past life, 50 pieces of white spirit stones actually are like a small change, it is the lowest grade spirit stones, in 10 years time almost every monster already turn into a mutated beast so its almost everywhere. But at the moment this white spirit stones are the greatest treasure ever.

Alex actually already prepare his decision even before he came to this place, he already knew what he will find, and of course he will choose the survival of his friends and family as priority, so he already come prepare to share the spirit stones. But it just when he saw the Golem he got a bit sway to give some of the stones to the Golem.

Finally he decided to give just a few to the golem just enough to be his life saving artifacts. Alex decided to give 10 of the stones to the golem.

"Damn, this is a rank 2 Golem, 10 white spirit stone only give him around 5% power"

with that amount of power it will still only have the power of Rank 1 golem. Rank 1 golem has the same power as a peak stage Mortal realm, so at the moment it should be sufficient.

As for human, one white spirit stone can turn a person from low stage Mortal realm into the middle stage. 5 of them to turn into high stage, and another 10 to the peak of Mortal realm.

"There is really not much point to reach peak Mortal realm right now, as i cant upgrade to the next realm until i have acess to the doomsday pillar.

Alex decided to consume 6 of them right now..

The spirit stones is the essence of energy from living beings. When the living bodies mutated and consume more energy the spirit stones inside will also turn stronger and evolve. Alex took six of those energy essence right now, it will take a few hours for him to absorb all of them. The stones are only the size of a peanut, when it reach his stomach, it slowly dissolve into million particles and attach into his veins. Slowly the temperature of his body increase, sweats are running down on all around his body, if observe closely, there are dark filth can be seen pouring out together with the sweats. His body are removing all the negative essence bit by bit.After a few hours he can feel his all the muscle around his body contracted, and the warm essence slowly turn cool, he can feel the breeze until the tip of his finger. Alex open his eyes, he feel he can hear better and smell better all of his 5 senses are enhance. The feeling are exhilarating.

After a few hours Alex finally stand up, he felt so full of energy, he is now on the high stage of Mortal Realm, from his past experience, he should be around level 25, he will not know exactly until he get inside the Pillars. But at the moment probably he is the strongest human on earth. He test his strength a little, he jump as high as he can, and he can touch the ceiling, which should be around 5 meter. He pick up a stone press it hard on his arm, and "Crrack" he broke it.

Alex is full of confidence right now, he store the golem and the stones back into the storage ring, walk and dive back out of the lake, its already Noon outside, he spend more than 12 hours inside.

Alex walk back to the temple, took the car and drive back all the way to Bali main city to meet his family in the Hotel. It seems they are having such a nice holiday that his family doesnt really realize he had gone for 3 days..
