10 Barbecue Meat Skewers

The middle aged man's response was obvious. "Is that so."

Then how else would he be able to pull out a silver coin, out of thin air, unless he possesses a interspacial storage item, spirit essence tool, which only Spirit Masters could use.

Without much further of a thought or conversation, the middle aged man handed over a medium sized bamboo hats and two pairs of wooden sandals.

Ao Si Ka happily wears the bamboo woven straw hat, strapping the string underneath his chin, to securely fastened it in place. Whilst, throwing the sandals on the ground, and putting them on.

Ao Si Ka revealed a contended look, as he surprisingly calms down.

He thought, 'It's alot better than walking bare foot. Getting my feets dirty, that time when I step on a wet surface and mud... ugh.'

Without further ado, after Ao Si Ka has finish and done his business. He left the middle aged man's wood crafts store, and continues to stroll down the streets of the market district, with sixty-five copper spirit coins in his hand.

On his way, walking nonchalantly down the market district, without being met with the scrutinise gaze of onlookers, because of his poor status. Ao Si Ka can finally feel a bit more relaxed for once.

He encountered a small looking opened door, seemingly runned down, noodle shop; chairs and  tables aligned, in front of the store.

There seems to be an additional small size food stand, selling sweet barbecue meat skewers on bamboo sticks, in front of the main noodle store.

Ao Si Ka walks up to the barbecue selling food stand.

There was a young girl, roughly around the same age as Ao Si Ka, manning the stand, beside the counter.

She was grilling some fresh barbecue meat and vegetable skewers by herself.

The fresh fragrant smell of the meat skewers on the grill, attracted the attention of Ao Si Ka, as he felt his mouth become a bit watery.

The young girl raises her head upwards, away from her workstation, as her pink bead eyes, took a short glance at the approaching Ao Si Ka.

Ao Si Ka's appearance was quite eye catching. Enough of a spectacle to attract the attention of many onlookers.

He was now wearing a tailored black and white wolf fur cloak, made from a 100 years old spirit beast, that which covers his entire body. Even his poor dirt tattered attire, he is hiding underneath.

The young girl revealed a smirk, as she hopelessly said, "I see you've come here to buy my own delicious barbecue skewers, am I right?"

Ao Si Ka nodded his head, and gave a charming smile, as he raised his head upwards, from underneath the covers of the bamboo woven straw hat, revealing the entirety of his face.

Though his face was covered in dirt, and a bit of blood, his wounds have already been healed, since he had last fight with the Grass Leaf Warrior spirit beast.

His childish handsome face, green emerald bead eyes, and silvery white hair is enough to captivate any girl's heart.

Ao Si Ka lightly formed a smile on his face, as he asked the young clerk girl, "So how much is for a single skewer?"

The young clerk girl replied, "5 copper coin each..."

Ao Si Ka pondered for a moment, taking his time, as he was not in that much of a hurry.

He thought, 'Maybe I should stack up on some food... If my hypothesis is correct, then whatever things that goes into my Inventory space, retains its same shape and form as before it was placed within the Inventory space.'

"Will that be like owning my own personal refrigerator." Ao Si Ka accidentally spoke what was on his mind.

The young clerk girl replied, with a quizzical confused look, "Pardon?"

"Nevermind, it's not something that you should be worried about, " was Ao Si Ka response.

Ao Si Ka then proceeded to pull out two silver spirit coins, out from his Inventory storage space.

"I want to buy all that you have right now." Ao Si Ka said with a calm voice, as he hands over the money.

The young clerk girl looks over at the boy, with a surprising look. Constantly, shifting her gaze from the boy, then to the silver coins within his hand.

The young clerk girl screamed, "Are you serious. Are you trully willing to buy everything."

Ao Si Ka nodded his head in confirmation, and said a single word in response. "Yeah!"

The young clerk girl giggles, laughing joyfully on the occassion, like any child her age, plastered with a huge grin on her face.

She thank the gods for this joyous occasion, bringing in a lucky customer, who is not only rich, but is also fortunately a young genius aspiring spirit master.

The young clerk girl happily gets to work, firing on the hot grill, as she dumps a load of black lumps of charcoal into the furnace, below the grill.

The portable stone furnace roared, spewing out flames, and tiny amounts of ember, which soon die down a bit.

Thankfully, she was wearing a fire proof resistant leather apron, that made her immune to the fire damage, and preventslowly her clothes from setting on fire.

She then prepared a fresh batch of meat and vegetable skewers, marinated in some sweet sauce, her own family recipe. Not before placing it on the hot grill to cook.

Ao Si Ka from the side, was mesmerised by the young clerk girl, as he observed her working from her workstation.

He never actually saw how someone could work that fast, maneuvering around the kitchen (workstation) , working with their hands as  efficiently as she could. Maybe this is the difference between an experienced fast food worker, and plain normal cook.

That being said, Ao Si Ka could literally see droplets of sweat, dribbling down the side of her cheeks. Due to the high temperature of the stone furnace, it giving off.

It didn't take that long for the first batch of barbecue meat skewers to be cook.

The seared skin of the barbecue meat, the vegetables becoming cooked, turning slightly soft with a golden brown texture on the surface.

The young clerk girl hurriedly brings out a empty clean wooden plate, from beneath the drawers, and placed the recently cooked barbecue meat skewers on the plate, before serving it to Ao Si Ka.
