"Spirits?", Shan gave Ryan a doubtful look. The next moment, Ryan felt some pressure on his body. Not too powerful, but enough to make him believe in its existence. But the next thing he knew, the pressure disappeared, like it bounced off of a wall. He saw Shan's clothes swaying a bit, as if a weak wind hit it. Shan was surprised for a moment, but then waved his hand dismissively and said, "er… Fair enough. The domain does give you the ability to see through stuff a bit. It does give you some abilities and resistance regarding to illusions. So that makes sense I guess. I think you only saw something very vaguely and figured the rest out using the names huh? But, I have to ask, how did you know the names were clues? We've never mentioned the name of that beast in front of you before".

Ryan scratched the back of his head gave a smile as innocently as possible, and said, "I read it in a book you left on the table one day. I was just looking at the pictures when I saw it. It looked really shiny. So, I just checked it out". "Hmm", that sounded convincing to Shan. He used to do that a lot. Partially, because he was lazy. The other reason was to see if his son would actually not mind them and play around, like a genuine six year old, or try to comprehend them. He wasn't really shocked when Ryan did the latter. He never was like any ordinary kid. "Lemme ask you something dad. As little Jin is a spirit beast, she doesn't need any awakening, does she?", Ryan asked curiously. "No. It's like.... Er…. She is her own martial spirit. Why ask?", Replied Shan. "No reason. I'm just curious what rank her spirit power is at. If it's 10, like me, does she also need to hunt for spirit rings?", Ryan asked, although he knew the answer, just to see how much his father knows about this matter. "No, she doesn't. Normally, people donno much about this phenomenon. Mainly because only a tenth of 100000 year old spirit beasts choose this path. Even I wouldn't have known about this, if I didn't have a friend who...…", Shan's expression suddenly became ugly as his face filled with regret and guilt. So, didn't complete that sentence. "Anyway, what you need to know is that she will materialise her own spirit rings till Rank 60. No more questions for now, off you go".

Ryan was surprised that his father knew so much about spirit beasts. But then, as he witnessed the changes in Shan's expression, he remembered something. He had two sources to gain this information from. The reason he quit the spirit hall was out of regret for not helping Tang Hao, which meant he should have also known Ah Yin, who was an evolved spirit beast. Or, the other source is a person extremely knowledgeable about spirit beasts; Yu Xiaogang. He had mentioned him by the first name when he was talking to Bibi Dong. That means they were pretty good friends too. 'Now, which one did he mean by a 'friend who..'?', Ryan was confused. He wanted to ask, but he knew he shouldn't reveal that he knows too much. The effects of that could be undesirable. So, he slowly nodded and walked back into his house.

It had already become dark by the time he had finished talking with his dad. He went back to his room and took a nice, long, bath. After that, he went to the dining area and sat with his family. Everything was normal, except for the fact that little Jin didn't look at him directly, but, stole glances at him occasionally. And every time she did that, her face would blush lightly. Of course Ryan didn't notice this, not because he was stupid, but cause he was hungry. But, at certain milestones (like after 4 pieces of chicken), he would raise his head and look at his sister, to see how much she ate. Yeah, it was sorta like a competition. And every time he did that, his face would stiffen, because she was always ahead of him. 'I know she's a beast and all, but, how is she doing this?', Ryan thought, terrified by this scene. The cuteness she has when lookin at Ryan instantly vanishes when her eyes set back on the food in her plate. Then, she shows her true colours and becomes a beast. Their parents, by this time, were long used to this, and so they continued to eat without getting psychologically scarred by the scene in front of them.

As the "peaceful" got over and his mother finished washing dishes, Ryan went to bed. It was a really loooong day and he deserved some rest. So, for the first time in the past five years, he decided to spend all of his bedtime actually sleeping. 'I'll check out the training stuff tomorrow', he thought as he drifted off. But, he suddenly felt like he was falling while being pulled from all directions. It felt weird, like he had hit his funny bone on a table. The next instant, he landed on soft grass, with a thud. The impact was enough to wake him up. "It doesn't hurt, but...….. Ow", Ryan said as he got up from the ground. "Why am I here? Didn't decide to take a day off from this today?", he continued as he looked around. Just as he finished saying this, he heard a familiar voice right behind his ears, "Hiya". "Son of a bitch motherfucker!!!", Ryan screamed as he jumped off the ground at a speed nearly invisible to the naked eye (Yeah, because of the training and cultivation combo), as this scared the living shit outta him. He landed around 50 metres away from where he initially stood (Yup, gain cuz of the combo). That's when he saw who the owner of the voice was; Heavenly hentai (Ryan came up with the name), aka space god, aka Kong Jian (his actual name, lol). "Awwwww. I missed you too, you arrogant piece of shit", he greeted Ryan back with a smile as innocent as a kindergartener's.
