Agent Romanoff, did you miss me?! :D :D :D

'The fuck? Did that annoying geezer just cry?', Ryan thought, as he stood alone in his mental realm. 'Well, I guess no one can become a god without having at least some kinda trauma. I shouldn't think about it too much. And.... He told me not to use my second spirit?', He thought, as his face turned stiff with anger. He was pissed off. Although he knew that the ban was just on manifesting it, he shouted angrily towards the sky, "What's the point of having twin spirits if I cant show off you useless deity?!!!!!". He then shook his head while sighing, "Ugh, its hard to get mad at someone when you see them crying".

Pushing this matter aside, Ryan turned back and looked at the little chicken behind him, and sighed once again. He then turned his head towards the spirit pagoda. The golden rings on it were shining, much like the door, which now had golden markings on the previously pure-white surface. Curiosity filled his eyes, but so did darkness. "Ugh, this is why I didn't wanna come here today. I didn't want to see this building like this and not open it. Now, I am gonna be biting my nails for the whole day tomorrow, You stupid god", He complained once more before closing his eyes.

Ryan opened his eyes to a shaking ceiling. 'What? Earthquake? This early in the morning? (what does that even mean? :D:D)'. "Good morning ge, wake up! Wake up! Papa says he wants to see you!", he heard the sweet sound of his sister from the right side. As he turned to look at her, he saw that her body was shaking too. And her hands were touching his chest. That's when he realised that she was shaking his body to wake him up. 'Oh, that makes sense', Ryan thought as he retained his sanity. "Ah..... What is it little Jin?", he asked Jin with a lazy tone as he turned the rest of his body to face upwards (he was lying with his body to the left and had turned his head straight when she was started shaking him).

Immediately, a frown appeared on Jin's face as she asked, "What is this ge?", she pointed a finger towards the slightly big bump on the blanket, between his legs (such a pure girl). 'Hmm? What is she talking about?', Ryan thought as he raised his head to see what it was. 'Magnum!!!!!'. He immediately sat up straight. That was enough shock to completely wipe away the rest of the sleepiness. He gave a small whack on Jin's head and said, "s-stupid! Why did you wake me up this early in the morning?! Was it to make fun of me?!". Ryan's mornings in the past life was 11 am (NEET effect). For a second he had copltely forgotten about his training and how early he usually woke up now. "Early? It's 9 o clock! (at least what 9 am is like for us) And I came here to tell you that papa is looking for you. Hmph!", Jin said this much and pouted. She then ran out of the room crying, "Onii-chan no bakaaaa!!!!" (or equivalent, but yeah this is more kawai ;P). "Oh crap! I overslept! I'm late for training! father's gonna kill me!!", Ryan said to himself as he quickly got out of the bed and rushed to the bathroom to get ready.

Half an hour later, he appeared in the courtyard, well dressed (obviously, he can't train now, so, might as well get cleaned up), to see his father. But Shan wasn't there. "Over here brat! Can't you at least try to sense my presence? We've got the same spirits you know!", a man's voice came from inside of the house. Ryan quickly turned his body towards its direction and suddenly caught something. It was a ladle. 'These guys are made for each other' (refer to ch. 14), Ryan thought with a sigh as headed over to the kitchen.

There he saw his father, a level 98 super douluo, standing with an apron over his pajamas and a non-stick pan in his hand (They were having pancakes for breakfast). Ryan was stupefied. He didn't know whether to laugh or cry. "Your mom is still sleeping. She was really stressed yesterday cause of all the spirit awakening business. Now that that is all resolved, I thought it would be nice to let her take a day off for today", Shan said before Ryan spoke up, inorder clear things up. Ryan nodded. He too had seen how his mother was yesterday. This was only fair. But then another question filled his mind, 'In this situation, he definitely wouldn't scold me for not waking up early. Then why did he want to see me?'.

"You are wondering what I wanted to talk to you about right?", Shan asked, as if reading his mind. Ryan nodded again. "Son, from the day you were born, you have been living here, with us, to escape from the clutches of spirit hall. Also, we didn't want to let you go, because, if your spirit was weak, you would not have been able to survive outside. But, now that you're strong enough to take on the world, I'm thinking of sending you both away. Your mother agreed to this as well, albeit being sad. Besides, we have some things to do as well. So we are leaving this house too. I hope you understand", Shan finished talking. Ryan understood everything except one sentence, which he repeated carefully, "SENDING. US. BOTH. AWAY??, What do you mean by 'sending away'? And what do you mean by 'both'?!". Shan replied expressionlessly, "'sending away' means you are gonna leave the house and 'both' means that Jin is gonna come with you".

For a moment, Ryan was filled with anger, but then, it quickly subsided as his mind was filled with questions. "But, my spirit is a bow! I can only shoot people from far away! I can't do anything if they get close to me! And, you need to gimme more advice on my spirit, a-and what will I do when people freak out when they see Jin's spirit? And I don't even know much about her origin! Plus, where will we go from here? I don't even have a map of the outside world! You can't leave us alone!" He started shooting out questions.

"Stop being a wuss! This isn't like you. If bad people get close to you, don't you have monstrous physical strength? Use it.... Oh yeah, and there is another small trick with your bow too. I'll teach you that today. Also, you have a goddamn domain, so stop freaking out! About the spirit, you should figure it out yourself, you're a big boy. Jin can take very good care of herself and I have talked to her about this, so she will do the needful in that regard. I guess I will have tell you one more thing about her today, so that you can rest assured. And it is not like I'm kicking you out of the house or something. I'm sending you to one of my very close friends, who will help you become more powerful and wise. So just be the Yan I know and you will be fine", Shan finished speaking, and turned his head back to the pan.

Hearing all of this, Ryan suddenly gained his composure back, which he had lost for a second. He then asked, "When do we depart father?", Shan replied, "Tomorrow". He nodded in understanding and without asking any more questions, walked out of the kitchen and went back to his room. After around half an hour, his father woke his mother up, and the family had breakfast together, silently. Hua had a sad look on her face. Ryan could relate to that. Theis was the first time he had felt the warmth of a family. So he knew just how painful it was to lose it.

After breakfast, the day went by as both kids packed their belongings and got ready to leave the next day. In the evening, Shan, as promised, had a talk with Ryan about Jin and the bow (I'm leaving this part like this for now, you will find out how it went in the future. I already know where to use it.). Ryan was utterly shocked by the new info, but quickly regained his composure as he couldn't afford to be careless from now on. The night was the worst. He couldn't even get a little bit of sleep. But, as it got close to sunrise, he dozed off for a bit. He still woke up quickly after an hour or so. SO he wasn't able to enter his mental realm today either, as he didn't want to half-ass it. Unable to continue it any longer, he got up, and walked into the hall, only to see Jin sitting in a chair near the table with a scroll and what looked like a letter in her hand. There was another closed envelope on the table. Jin looked sad.

Seeing this, he ran to their parents' room, but saw noone. He then slowly walked towards Jin and took the letter from her hand and read it. It was basically what Shan had said yesterday, but, what was extra was this: "I know you will be mad at us, but, your mother could not bear to see you off, so we are leaving first. The scroll with this letter is a map, with our house and your destination marked on it. As soon as you reach there, destroy the map (*cough* paranoid*cough*). The envelope has a letter that you should give to my friend after meeting him.I have kept some money in a small pouch in my room. Should be barely enough for your travel expenses. We wish you good luck, our children!".After reading, Ryan sighed and said, "They really left huh?". Jin nodded her head slowly. He patted her on the head and said, "Don't worry little Jin, they did this for our own good. Besides, ge will protect you from anything and anyone. Jin hugged him tightly. He hugged her back too. He then got out of the hug and went back to their parents' room and took the pouch with the money.

After that, he took the letter and the scroll in his hands. He opened the scroll to look at where they were supposed to go. When he saw the destination, his eyes widened, and he suddenly looked at what was written on the envelope. He then looked back and forth between the scroll and the letter, with the surprised look still on his face. The destination was "NUODING ACADEMY', and on the letter it was written, "TO BROTHER XIAOGANG".
