Dong! Dong! Dong! (SFX)
The pounding sound of metal hitting metal started to rise from within the blacksmith workshop. As Tang Hao and Tang San, the father and son, continue on with their prosaic lives, but with a difference, starting from this day on, Tang Hao would allow Tang San to play with another furnace in the room, pounding that lump of iron on his own forge.
He didn't instruct Tang San, much less spoke and interect with him, the entire time. But also, from this day on, Tang Hao's drinking lessened a little, as the family food expenses increased a little.
Forging was an absolutely dull and tiring process, but regardless, Tang San still regarded this as the correct way temper his body.
When eleven day has passed, he had already forged numerous times, it felt like by swinging the iron hammer, he was unable to only on his own body's physical strength, and to rely on the help of the Mysterious Heaven skill.
His entire strength was enough to swing the hammer a hundred times or so. But every time his strength is nearly exhausted, he would sat down, cross legged on the ground to recover, and onced his inner strength has fully recovered, he would immediately resumed hammering.
This wouldn't on just tempering his body. Repeatedly depleting and recovering, was also a good way of tempering his Mysterious Heaven Skill and Willpower. Unfortunately, the Mysterious Heaven Skill's first tier bottleneck has an impregnable tier.
Tang San's practice couldn't be said to not be painstaking, but with his ample natural talents. He was unable to breakthrough and enter the second barrier.
But his training still definitely wasn't a complete waste. Despite the Mysterious Heaven Skill being unable to breakthrough, his internal strength still toughened up in pace with the iron lump's forging, and his recover speed seems a bit faster than before.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, somewhere in the outskirts of Holy Spirit Village. In the backyard gardens of one of it's inhabitants, Tang Qing was busy tending to the yard, watering the crops, and weeding out the garden, providing enough space for the medicinal herbs to grow.

Tang Qing is effortlessly plucking out handful of grass and weeds, placing them inside a straw basket. Onced the basket was filled to the brim, he would carry it over to the compost bin, and emptying it out.
Rinse and repeat, until the whole garden is completely devoid of any weeds, or other unnecessary plant growth that would obstruct the growth of the medicinal herbs in this herb garden.
The weeded out grass trimming and organic waste would then be added to the compost bin, placed layers upon layers on top of each other, in between the soil. With the grass acting as the catalyst where it speeds up the process of decomposition, breaking down organic matter, and converting it into versatile nutrients, which would help nourishes the soil.
'I've already finished weeding out the plants in the herb garden. Next, I just need to water the herbs, then I will be done... just a little more.'
Tang Qing thought, as he wipe the sweat off his face, with his own shirt.
Having finished taking some time to rest in between his work time. Tang Qing enter the shed, located right beside the herb garden, as he took out an old iron watering can from the shed.
Lifting the handle of the old watering can up, he went outside, taking the old watering can with him.
Tang Qing placed the old watering can in the rain barrel, which has been collecting rainwater over the past few days. Submerged under water, the rainwater quickly gathers, displacing the empty regions of air, filling the old watering can up.
The weight of the watering can increases, making it somewhat difficult for Tang Qing to hold it by himself, singlehandedly. With no other choice, Tang Qing was forced to use both his arms, struggling to even lift the old watering can up, and get it out of the rain barrel.
But somehow he managed to do it, as his palms reddens a bit, because of the weight of watering can place on top of his hand. Whilst, leaving behind a horizontal rectangular shape imprint on his palm, in the shape of the old watering can's handle.
Tang Qing's eyes lit up, filled to the brim with determination, as he muster up all the body strength a little six years old could muster.
He walked over to the herb garden, with the heavy watering can, filled to the brim with water, in both his hands. Tipping over slightly, causing the water to spray over his feet and sandals.
Onced he reached one of the plots in the herb garden. With a slight tilt on his part, raising the watering can at an angle, where the watering can's sprout pointing downwards.
Water began to spray everywhere. The rainwater collected withinside the watering can rapidly began to gush out, through the sprout and nozzle, it sprayed everywhere, equally amongst the herbs and plants.
Tang Qing repeated the same process, repeatedly refilling the watering can up, and water the plants in the medicinal herb garden, until there was none left.
It was around this time, that the back door to the house, in which the herb garden resides in, opened.
A young girl of similar age to Tang Qing, approaches him, carrying a plate of freshly cut fruit with her.
The young girl possesses average features. Nothing of the sort out of ordinary. Short unkempt brown hair, and almond coloured eyes, with light freckles covering her cheeks.
Though her smile is charming and cute, very pleasing to look at. Enough to lift one's spirit.
This young girl is none other than Xing Lingfei. The daughter of this village only doctor. Despite being in a better off than average background, with some ounce of spirit master in her lineage.
Xing Lingfei possesses an extremely fragile small figure, due to a lack of nourishment since her birth.
She was born prematurely, which resulted in her growth stagnating at an early age. It was only thanks to the medicinal herbs, and medicine concocted by her father, the village doctor, that her illness didn't exemplified and worsen even further.
But sadly, her mother didn't make it, after having given birth to Xing Lingfei prematurely. The excessive exhaustion and pain of childbirth took its toll on her, which resulted in her death.
The worst possible outcome possible. It was either the life of the mother or the unborn child in her belly.
Being the one held responsible for making the important decision, between life and death. Which one to save, while the other die off as a consequence.
It was quite a difficult decision for Xing Lingfei's father to make. Choosing between his first born child or the love of his life. Whatever choice he made, he would still experience loss.
But the love of a mother goes way beyond the boundaries of blood ties, or related by blood. It's universal. An unconditional love that could not be so easily severed.
Xing Lingfei's mother, despite knowing the consequence and severity of her actions. She decided to have Xing Lingfei anyway.
However, Xing Lingfei's father was strongly against that idea, being a doctor himself. He understood the repercussions of premature childbirth, and it's negative ramifications it could have on the child's growth.
Never minding the slight chances that the infant is developed fully enough to survive outside it's mother's womb is quite slim.
Xing Lingfei's father has tried numerous timesin persuading her mother to give up the child, to save her own life, to no avail. Her decision to have Xing Lingfei was as strong as ever until her very last moments.
"Brother Qing! Brother Qing! Come over, I've just recently cut some fresh fruit slices. Daddy said I could share them with you." Xing Lingfei said so softly in a tone which held affection.
Xing Lingfei smiled cheerfully, and hurriedly runs over towards Tang Qing. Whilst, carrying a plate of freshly sliced fruits in her hand.
Seeing how eager Xing Lingfei was to see him. Her bright cheerful smile could lift anyone's heart. Tang Qing sighs, and returned a smile back at Xing Lingfei.
"You seem to be quite energetic today, Xing Ling..." Tang Qing spoke teasing Xing Lingfei a little.
Xing Ling is an nickname Tang Qing used to address her as they were quite close friends since they were younger.
Xing Lingfei smiled cheerfully, as she approaches Tang Qing up close. Her flowery scent, and the aroma of medicinal herbs, wafted his nose.
The faint traces of the arona of medicinal herbs, emanating from her body, attracted Tang Qing's attention. Nevertheless, it was nothing unusual of the sort, as Tang Qing has grown used to it already.
Ever since young, Xing Lingfei always has a weak body, due to premature birth. Her body growth rate stagnated, causing her to be underdeveloped, and short stature, when compared to her peers at a similar age.
But Xing Lingfei didn't took it to heart, and take it seriously. She smiles, and enjoy whatever life throws at her, living it to the fullest, without holding back.
