23 Clash and Problem

Vegeta was growing frustrated from his inability to deal his opponent any meaningful damage. Frieza was toying with him every step of the way. Regardless of what tactics or feints he tried, his former master could just power through or outright avoid them. He thought this situation shouldn't be possible because he had become a Super Saiyan.

The Saiyan prince was trying his best to block the flurry of attacks being sent his way. He could barely keep his arms up in an attempt to protect his head. A strike to his side caused him to drop his left arm from the pain racing up to his head.

CRACK!

Vegeta knew several ribs had broken from the hit. He didn't have long to think about his mistake. The moment he dropped his arm, he created an opening that allowed Frieza to send a devastating kick to the side of his head.

BOOM!

The ground exploded from the impact of Vegeta's body. Frieza swiftly landed planting both feet in the chest of Vegeta. The Saiyan coughed out a mouthful of blood as a crater formed underneath him. The tyrant then jumped off of the fallen Saiyan. He wrapped his tail around the neck of Vegeta and hoisted him off the ground.

Frieza used his former employee as a punching bag to further demonstrate his superiority to the supposed Super Saiyan. Both of Vegeta's arms, one leg, and several more ribs were broken under Frieza's assault. The final blow sent Vegeta careening like a ragdoll into a hill several meters away.

"Finished already?" Frieza mocked.

The only response Vegeta could give was to cough out more blood.

"I'll take that as a yes." Frieza responded.

He pointed his index finger towards Vegeta and began to charge a Death Beam. In the small window of time before the beam fired, Raditz appeared sending Frieza flying into the distance with a well aimed punch to the face. The short alien raced back from the hit in no time at all.

"Even though you managed a lucky shot while I was distracted, you are still too weak to harm me." Frieza laughed.

"We'll see about that." Raditz declared. He did really use Vegeta to create an opening to deliver the hit.

He closed his eyes and began to draw out even more power than before. Using Frieza to gain power might not have been necessary if Raditz let the Grand Elder unlock his potential. The new emperor decided against it, in case the Elder chose to view his memories.

Since mutating, his ability to gain power through ordinary training methods decreased drastically compared to before the change. That was the reason he spent most of his time mastering or trying to create new techniques. His ability to increase in strength during and after healing from battle skyrocketed. However, he knew the current gap in strength between himself and the current form of Frieza was too high.

His original plan was to fight each form of Frieza and build his power as he went along. Right now, he was between Frieza's second and third forms in strength. His Ape power transformation helped some but it still wasn't enough, which was why Raditz had a back up plan.

The long haired Saiyan assumed he had all the needed ingredients for a Super Saiyan transformation. The process was questionable, which was why attempting to transform was a back up plan. He didn't know if he needed desire and rage to transform, or just building Ki in his upper back.

If he needed intense rage, then he would be in trouble; Raditz was more analytical than emotional.

He was also unsure as to whether his mutation would hinder the process. It already stopped his ability to transform into the Great Ape form under the moonlight. A trait also inherited by his son Reiss.

HAAAAH!

Raditz continued to build his power focusing it into his spine. The other warriors could feel the tremendous Ki rising. The ground beneath their feet began to tremor violently as fissure started racing along the ground. Raditz's muscle mass increased even more and his aura turned a bright golden color. His long hair began to take on a greenish gold appearance, while its tips remained black. Gritting his teeth Raditz felt he was close to the power he needed but couldn't quite get there. It might be necessary to use rage to help the process.

Raditz thought that the only rage large enough to push him over the threshold was the Great Ape's. He completely tuned everything around him out to connect even further with his Ape power. His power rose even greater the close he got to contacting the source.

HAAAH!

Raditz's scream intensified further the closer he drew to the rumbling roar of the Great Ape inside himself. His muscle nearly doubled in size as his aura erupted in a brilliant golden light. The observers had to avert their gaze until the light died down.

When the light had vanished, they could see the fully transformed Raditz hovering in the sky. His long black hair had fully taken on a golden green color, his irises remained crimson, and his fingernails turned a dark black. Everyone was staring awe struck at the level Ki he was emitting, it was like nothing they had ever felt before.

Raditz was looking down at his hands trying to get a feel of his new power. Although, Frieza was unable to sense Ki, he had a terrible feeling about the transformation Raditz went through. From the way his foe was examining himself, Frieza knew the change was foreign to the Saiyan.

Nappa stared in shock at the green haired Saiyan. He was old enough to understand what had happened to Raditz. The legend was fulfilled not by the prince, but by some one who should've been a mid class warrior, like himself.

"Kakarot, I think your brother, Raditz...No, Lord Raditz has become the Legendary Super Saiyan!" Nappa was excited to witness a legend come to life.

"Is that what happened!" Kakarot was equally excited, "If it looks like that why did Vegeta keep saying he was a Super Saiyan!"

"Kakarot, your brother's strength is on another level!" Piccolo couldn't believe anyone could have that level of power, "Frieza probably isn't his match!"

"To think I fought against him in my first World Tournament!" Krillin exclaimed.

Frieza blitzed over to the stationary Raditz and unleashed a barrage of strikes against him. Throughout all of the attacks, the Saiyan remained unmoving. Frieza quickly moved away after realizing his attacks did no damage.

"Ha Ha Ha!" Raditz reveled in his new found power.

"Don't get too conceited." Frieza stated, "I have still yet to show you my full power."

The alien's muscles swelled as he gritted his teeth, charging his power. A considerably more muscular Frieza floated before Raditz. He smiled as he had finally gotten a chance to use the full power of his final form.

"You should be proud to have forced me into this state, Lord Raditz. To be able to see the Great Lord Frieza at full power is an accomplishment." Frieza praised, "After finishing you, my wish for immortality will be all the sweeter."

"You won't get your wish. I already used the Dragon Balls." Raditz mocked, "You were just too slow in arriving you poor, pathetic, fool."

"You... You wished for immortality didn't you! that's why your earlier wounds healed." Frieza speculated.

"Not at all. I knew it wouldn't be necessary. You don't need to know what I wished for since you won't be alive much longer." Raditz answered, his eyes were becoming wild.

The now fully powered Frieza rushed over to attack the new Super Saiyan. Once again a repeat of the last attempt occurred and Raditz remained unfazed by the attacks. Before the muscular alien could retreat back, Raditz delivered a seemingly light elbow to Frieza's face. The alien was only knocked a few feet, but was bleeding profusely from his nose and mouth.

"How is this possible!" Frieza growled. "If the Dragon Balls are off the table, then there is no use in keeping the planet around!"

Frieza's anger had grown to the point he didn't care if the planet existed anymore. He was willing to destroy the planet even though his spaceship was destroyed. He could survive in space and it was just a matter of waiting until another Frieza Force vessel entered the System.

Frieza held up his arm and formed a black and purple energy ball on the tip of his finger. He was planning on throwing the Death Ball at the planet to kill everyone but himself. Regardless of his new power, Raditz still needed to breath, so Frieza wanted to let space kill his enemy for him.

The moment he tried to toss the Death Ball, it exploded, leaving his right hand cloaked in black smoke. Frieza saw Raditz pointing his index finger towards him. Frieza was terrified that he didn't perceive Raditz perform the attack. When the smoke cleared everyone could see that the tyrannical Frieza was missing his hand.

"ARGH!" Frieza screamed gripping his arm in pain. His blood dripped down from his crippled arm into the green ocean below.

"Frie...za!" Raditz roared, his look had become more feral. His teeth had become more pronounced and bestial.

"You dare to wound-" Frieza's threat was immediately cutoff by Raditz appearing in his face.

The Super Saiyan tightly gripped the arms of the alien. Frieza struggled madly to remove himself from the vice-like grip of Raditz. None of the kicks or tail swaps Frieza tried to use fazed the Super Saiyan.

CRACK! CRACK!

"ARGH!" Frieza cried as he felt his arms breaking.

Raditz pulled Frieza towards himself driving his knee deep into the stomach of the alien. The attack caused Frieza to cough out a river of blood. The people on the ground thought they could see the imprint of Raditz's knee in his opponent's back.

Raditz followed up the attack with several more knee strikes until Frieza disappeared. He was left holding the arms of the alien tyrant while the rest of Frieza was blown away.

"Frie..." Raditz roared releasing shockwaves of oppressive Ki, "Za!"

The armless Frieza was buried under the rubble of a collapsed mountain some distance away. The barely conscious tyrant could hear his enemy screaming his name. He could only regret that he wasn't more thorough in exterminating the Saiyans.

Raditz was taking heavy breaths, and his eyes had taken on a solid glowing crimson appearance. He beat his chest and fired a high powered Ki beam from his mouth in the direction Frieza flew. The beam cut a swath across a massive portion of the planet before flying into space.

The beam attack barely missing Frieza, but it did cause him to recover his senses. He exploded out of the rumble and tried to make a retreat while Raditz seemed to be out of control. Frieza powered up and flew away as fast as he could. His flight was halted by something holding onto his tail. It was Raditz.

The out of control Super Saiyan was fast enough to catch up to the fleeing Frieza in the blink of an eye. Raditz flew towards the ground while holding onto the tail Frieza. When he touched the ground he swung his arm, forcefully smashing Frieza into the ground. The impact caused a deep trench to form in the planet. Still holding onto the tail Raditz stomped Frieza's chest several times driving him into the trench.

The large mutant Super Saiyan lifted the brutalized Frieza out of the dirt by his head. Raditz cruelly grinned as Frieza flailed around while he applied pressure to the alien's skull. The once tyrannical emperor tried to fire Ki beams from his eyes to escape as the force on his head increased. His skull deformed and exploded under the pressure of the Super Saiyan.

Raditz tossed the corpse to the side and vaporized it with a mouth beam, before roaring into the sky. His allies were at a loss on how to proceed with the out of control, and clearly dangerous, Raditz. When Raditz suddenly stopped moving they gathered around to see what happened. It appeared that Raditz had fallen into a trance.
