"I think the twins will be enough." Dr. Gero said.

Highly pressurized white gasses billowed from the pods that housed the cyborg scientists' creations. As much as Gero hated the idea of tools he couldn't control, he understood that the situation warranted the release of the modified humans #17 and #18.

The pair of cyborgs walked forwards, stepping out of their storage pods, as the doors opened. The twins slowly examined the surroundings of the secret lab. Their eyes paused when they spotted the two mad scientists.

"I didn't think we'd wake up again, Sis." the black haired cyborg said, "I thought we were done for sure after that lab accident last time."

"Something must have the good doctor spooked more than us if he woke us back up." the blonde #18 smirked, "Look, he's even missing an arm."

"This damage is only superficial." Gero stated as cables from his severed limb extended down into a box of components. The self-repair function of Dr. Gero's body was adapted from Big Gete technology. "We are currently being pursued. Dr. Wheelo and I need you to take care of our enemies. It's what you were made for."

Neither of the newly freed cyborgs looked thrilled by Gero's orders. In fact #17 had a clear look of annoyance written all over his face.

"They will probably be here any minute. I suggest you hurry or we'll use the others instead." Gero threatened as he retrieved a remote from a nearby desk. "I can easily put you back to sleep."

"Now, now, Dr. Gero. That is no way to ask for a favor." Dr. Wheelo chided. He was originally against Gero's plan of kidnapping the twins for their experiments.

Wheelo knew that if the subjects were unwilling, any hope of control would be gone. That's is why over the years he and Dr. Kochin tried to forge a good relationship with the subjects, considering the circumstances. He and Dr. Kochin made it a point to ask for their opinion on optional modifications.

BOOM!

The gigantic steel doors of the lab exploded, scattering debris throughout the lab. The group that was following finally made their grand entrance. Vegeta, being the one that decided to blast his way in, entered the lab first.

"They are here!" Gero pointed to the entrance. "Hurry up and get rid of them, or do I have to resort to threatening you again?"

"No need, we'll handle it." #17 said with a grin,"Right Sis?"

"Good." Gero nodded,"Now go!"

The twins shared a glance just for a moment before giving each other a nod and vanishing. The body of Dr. Gero crumpled to the ground headless. Behind where his body fell stood #17 holding Gero's head between his palms. Dr. Wheelo was going to make a move, but #18 was already behind him with a Ki blade pressed against his throat. He could only stand by and watch as the brilliant brain of Dr. Gero was crushed in the hands of the scarf wearing #17.

"I feel much better now." #17 sighed in relief before crushing the shutdown remote beneath his heel,

"You aren't going to make trouble for us, are you Wheelo? I kinda like you, but I'll still kill you if necessary."

"No, I'm not going to get in your way. Gero was a fool for not seeing the potential you two have. It would have been a tragedy to shackle your minds." Wheelo spoke reassuringly.

The group that had come to stop the cyborgs just stood in the labs entrance observing the scene of the betrayal of Dr. Gero. They had not expect the doctor to be killed by his own creations just minutes after their release.

Eschalot took a few trembling steps forwards to get a better view of the lab. Her emotions were going crazy from seeing the release of the cyborgs that had haunted her dreams for as long as she could remember. Despite her warning, and best efforts, the thing she feared most still came to fruition. The cyborgs were set loose. To make matters worse, there were already more cyborgs than there should have been.

"It's them." her voice was almost a whisper as she stared into the chaotic lab. "It's them."

"What?" Vegeta asked, "Are those the right ones?"

The blonde Saiyan girl nodded, "Yes, they took everything from me."

"Then I will make sure to crush them. Prepare to behold the power of Super Saiyan Vegeta." the arrogant Saiyan declared.

Vegeta quickly transformed into his Super Saiyan state. He extended his arm with his fingers splayed and palm facing towards the laboratory while his Ki surged. Realizing what was about to happen, the others quickly moved away from the lab entrance as the blue ball of Ki formed in front of Vegeta's palm.

BIG BANG ATTACK!

When the blast was released, it caused the entire top portion of the mountain to turn to dust. The group hovered a short distance away from the blast zone. The area was filled with raining pebbles. Vegeta remained where he was standing with his arms crossed in pride over the destruction his attack caused. There was no doubt in his mind that he had killed all three remaining cyborgs with a single attack.

"Hahaha!" Vegeta threw his head back and laughed, intoxicated by his own power.

A faint green glow could be seen through the dusty smoke that was obscuring the area. Vegeta abruptly silenced his laughter the second he noticed the glow. He concentrated, focusing his eyes to get a better look at the source of the green light. As the smoke cleared, he saw that it was a barrier created by the cyborg #17. The barrier had not only protected #17, but also his sister and Dr. Wheelo. The surprising thing for Vegeta was the fact that none of the cyborgs appeared to be injured, at all. They didn't even have an out of place hair.

This fact didn't sit well with the prideful Saiyan. He hadn't used his full power on the attack, but it should have done some damage. The fighters observing from the sky were equally as shocked by the cyborgs lack of damage.

"How's that possible!" Yamcha thought he was dreaming.

"I hate to admit it, but that attack from Vegeta was stronger than anything I could muster, and it did nothing!" Tien stated.

Piccolo silently watched the spectacle below, while clenching his fist. Training with Kakarot over the last three years opened his eyes to how fast Saiyans could improve their strength. He knew that if he was going to have any hope of being useful in the future, he would need to take drastic measures.

"What is Dr. Wheelo doing?" Reiss pointed down at the ruins of the laboratory.

The doctor was furiously typing commands into one of the remaining consoles. He was activating the emergency procedure for the remaining pods left inside the destroyed lab. Metal walls rose from the ground beneath each of the pods, enclosing them in a shell. After a final code was entered by Wheelo, the encased pods blasted away from the base.

"We need to stop those!" Bardock started to make a move after the pods. "There is no way lettin'em go will lead to anything good!"

"Why don't you hold on?" the orange scarf wearing, black haired, cyborg appeared in the air near the group. They were all caught off guard by the speed of the cyborg. "My sister is about to play with your loud mouth friend down there. I'm betting it will be quite the show."

"I don't wanna be left out." Kakarot grinned, "You don't wanna be bored either, right?"

"Please, you and your group are no match for us. It will be boring either way." #17 laughed.

BOOM!

Because of the sudden appearance of #17, the group failed to see what had happened. #18 had sent Vegeta packing with an explosive punch to his face. The Super Saiyan tried to stabilize himself as he was sent backwards from the hit. The group saw several rock formations crumble from Vegeta flying through them at supersonic speeds.

"Tsk,tsk, he's already off to a poor start." #17 shook his head, completely ignoring the other fighters.

He watched his sister rocket towards her opponent without waiting for him to recover.

By the time Vegeta clawed his way out of the rubble of the mountain he crashed into, #18 was already in his face. The arrogant Saiyan had no time to react to the sudden arrival of the his opponent. The female cyborg brought her knee up, striking Vegeta in the chin.

Eschalot winced when she saw the devastating rising knee that sent her father rocketing into the sky. The clouds overhead parted in a ring pattern from Vegeta passing through them. #18 was already waiting in the sky for her opponent to arrive. She tensed the muscles in her leg as the Saiyan drew closer.

WHAM!

When Vegeta had arrived at the proper location, #18's kick erupted into his gut, causing him to spit out a mouthful of blood as he crashed down into a nearby landmass. The battle was going as #17 thought it would. He had complete confidence in his sister's and his abilities. If all the fighters were as weak as Vegeta, they wouldn't even need to use their special abilities. Just relying on their infinite energy generators would be enough.

"We should probably chase after them if we want to see how my sister wins." #17 informed the group. As he was leaving, Kakarot finally couldn't bear standing by any longer and decided to stop him.

"You think I'm just going to let you leave?" Kakarot asked. "I'm ready try my luck out."

The golden Super Saiyan aura blazed around Kakarot as he transformed, dropping into his fighting pose. The cyborg didn't know what to make of the Saiyans confidence in being able to put up a better fight than his friend.

"Fine, I'll make this quick so I can see the rest of the fight." the cyborg declared with a hint of boredom.

#17 quickly crossed his arms in front of his face, to block the punch launched by the Super Saiyan. Kakarot used this as an opportunity to attempt to put some distance between the deadly cyborg and the rest of the group.

In the East Galaxy Area, one of the Menagerie's shuttles docked with the adrift Shadow. Nappa, Toma, and a technician, Ensign Canta, exited the shuttle to investigate what happened to the Shadow. The ship was operating on very low power and neither Nappa or Toma could sense anybody living on the ship. As they traveled along the hallways they saw clear signs of battle damage. The walls had scorch marks and the floors were covered in broken equipment.

When the group reached the lift that led to the bridge level, they found that the door was locked down due to damage. It took less than twenty minutes for Ensign Canta to repair the doors, allowing them to open. On the bridge, the investigation team was met by an assortment of damaged, sparking, consoles. Canta felt personally hurt by all of the damage to the ship's systems.

"Once I repair some of this, I can get the Shadow's AI back online. Then it should be able to tell us what happened." Canta stated.

He removed a DynoCap from his black and red, Prometheus Empire, mechanic jumpsuit. When he pressed the small plunger, the capsule exploded into a full sized toolbox. The Ensign made his way over to a console and positioned himself underneath it, he had arrived at his wiry battlefield. It was one hour before he was able to get the Shadow AI back online.

"Shadow, this is Ensign Canta from the Menagerie." Canta identified himself. "Can you hear me?"

"Affirmative, Ensign Canta." came a monotone reply. "I am online, and functioning below capacity."

"What happened to the crew?" Nappa asked.

"Searching memory." the same disembodied voice stated. "The crew was taken to be enslaved by the group terrorizing the East Galaxy Area, now identified as the Bojack Pirate Syndicate."
