Chapter 15 - Temporary Setback!

Once the next day came around, Kayn got up and ate food from his storage. This place had fresh water, so he didn't have anything to worry about when it came to that. The Namekians only drunk water for nutrients.

"This seems to be another thing Zalama did good for them, he made it to where the Namekians didn't require much to survive, they needed only water!" Kayn started to understand more and more, what race in the universe needed only water to gain nutrients!?

After he was done eating, he wanted to see how many S-cells he could gain. He had been on this planet training his new skill for 2 weeks.

"Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks had a power level of 3 million or just a little less before becoming a Super Saiyan." What was important to Kayn was his base power level, this would further improve his Super Saiyan transformation's strength.

Goku was weak as hell when he fought Raditz, but under King Kai's training, he grew strong enough to combat the Saiyans. In the next year, he became a Super Saiyan after traveling to Namek, then came back after some time to counter Frieza, but would later be met with the threat of Androids.

Kayn started to generate more S-cells from 7 percent.

[Ding! 8% S-Cell Ratio!]

[Ding! 9% S-Cell Ratio!]

[Ding! 10% S-Cell Ratio!]

Gaining S-cells was easy for Gohan because of his personality, this made his potential when he was a kid so high, but he lost that when he was away from Goku for so many years. At the end of the day, under the influence of his mom chi-chi, he became a wasted nerd!

"Okay, I need to train more to unlock more cells. I better practice on this spike-bomb more, I also need some technique that can boost my strength like the Kaio-ken." Thinking of the Kaio-ken, he wondered how he could meet King Kai.

"The system does sell the Kaio Ken Technique, but it cost 60,000 System Points for it." It would be more fun to just meet King Kai and have him teach him instead. There were a few other things King Kai could teach Kayn, like the Spirit Bomb and Ball.

He went outside and greeted the other Villagers before flying off to another location. With the increase in his power, his Spike Bomb was much bigger. Kayn's power level had reached 98,000 from Guru and his Ki-Control breakthrough.

"Good! That's the destruction I like to see in an attack I created. It feels good knowing that the technique I made is this amazing." Kayn felt a sense of accomplishment, but his skill will surely be copied and used by a certain villain at one point.

The other Namekians didn't seemed to mind Kayn, but he was pretty loud sometimes, which caused them some concern. Time passed quickly, he continued to train all his moves, like the Kamehameha and Spike Bomb.

Of course, he persisted in training his Ki-control, it was indeed a bit harder to train it now. This was to be expected though, so he didn't say anything about it. And just like that, 2 weeks had passed, it was now time for him to leave this planet.

This planet was more boring than Derail 7, but he had grown used to the silence and being bored, so it didn't bother him. At the very least, he could talk to people to make up for being bored, they had even taught him Ki-senses.

Kayn didn't get it right away like he was expecting but got the concept of it. Thus, he was able to pick up on Ki-senses within 3 days! Kayn could already somewhat sense people because of his Ki-control, so it didn't take him long to pick up on this skill.

He gave the Namekians a salute before hopping into his space pod to leave. The Space pod lit up with a white light before shooting off into the sky and into space.

"Now, we head to planet Yardrat to get the ultimate experience!" Kayn was quite excited to learn from these people, he would surely breakthrough many limits learning from them. However, at that moment, he received a notification.

[Mission Unlocked!]

Mission Name: Pirate Buster!

"How the heck can I not complete this with those rewards, don't quote pointless things!" It had been a while since he had last received a mission. What stuck out was the Iron Crate, this was completely new to him.

"I have a chance to grow strong while I'm at it, I can't pass this up! Earn System points If I kill them, get a mission reward, and get strong with each fight." This was a win, win.... win situation for Kayn, there was no way he was passing this up.

Kayn knew where these planets were after thinking about it and put in their coordinates. He did his usual and went in stasis to only be woken up later.

Elsewhere, many people gathered together to talk.

"Sir, we've searched for the tree of might seed for the longest now, we can't find it anywhere." Some human-looking individual said.

"I know what you're trying to say, but this planet was rumored to have something strange about it, they say the tree of might seeds could be on either of these 2 planets!" This time a green alien chimed in.

"Our pirate fleet will raid both these planets and kill any of the inhabitants that get in our way! I heard that Frieza and his family were looking for these seeds, if we get them first then we can be the strongest mercenary group in the universe!

No one had found the tree of might seeds yet. Sadly for them, these guys just weren't destined to get them no matter what.

"It's better to be safe than sorry, gather the pirate fleet, let's raid these two planets, it's a good thing that they're next to each other. This makes the job just that much easier to deal with, we'll be able to back each other up that way!"

On the alien's signal, many pirates went out to prepare for their invasion.

The strongest guy only had a power level of 39,000, they weren't that strong. They still had to reach both planet's positions first, they were about 2 days away from both planets.

An alien was shot through the c.h.e.s.t, as he felt to the ground stiff and dead.

"Wow, nice shot Vegeta, you're aim is just as good as usual, haha!" Nappa complimented Vegeta on killing the alien and his accuracy.

"He was too slow, these lowly creatures didn't have a chance. " Vegeta grinned and looked over at the Saiyan female, who had already cleared out the rest of the aliens. She flew over to Raditz, who wasn't having a good time fighting, he looked like he was about to die!

"Raditz! You useless thing, can't you see how weak they are, can't you do anything right!?" Vegeta hollered over, this guy was always getting beat down. The Female Saiyan easily made short work of the rest of the aliens.

They had split into groups, Vegeta and the Saiyan Female were the strongest, so they had to be with either Raditz or Nappa to ensure nothing went wrong, like death. Many Saiyans that they were with previously had suffered like this, and died during missions, leaving only the 4 of them.

She made short work of the Aliens by blasting some into nothingness and punching holes in them. Once they were done, they walked back over to Vegeta and Nappa, the mission was complete for this planet.

"Very Good, Onio!" Vegeta only smirked when seeing her performance.

"Well, I wouldn't have to do much if Raditz wasn't such a weakling, I wonder why we even keep such trash with us?" Onio looked at Raditz with contempt, Raditz didn't say anything, but he was starting to sweat profusely after hearing her comment.

"Now, now, he is still a Saiyan despite being useless, so we can't just kill him." Vegeta looked at Raditz with assurance, he didn't need to kill Raditz because warriors that were weak like him would die soon enough to an enemy.

Nappa didn't say anything, he did look down on Raditz but he didn't want him to die. He was all for his race while caring nothing for other racial groups. Nappa was old and experienced, so he knew much more about his race than Vegeta and Onio.

Nappa wasn't the smartest but he knew this much, and wouldn't want his race to fall any more than what it has, if he could help it.

"Let's report this, but I'm sure Frieza has already figured it out. The last mission almost killed us if we didn't have our Oozaru's to help us!" Vegeta knew what Frieza was trying to do, he hated this guy so much.

"Let's go! We can at least get some rest in our space pods on our way back." The group walked off to their space pods and got in them to leave, they made sure to mark this mission as complete before leaving.

Raditz sighed in relief, he wasn't getting stronger for some reason, he couldn't understand it. He got into his pod and flew off with the other 3 through space. They were going to be assigned another mission, they knew Frieza was messing with them, but what could they do about it?
