Chapter 19：The Dungeon Lord's rodeo day.

Now that I had everything that I needed in hand, Ruyk and I headed to Orange area entrance.

As we arrived, I noticed the hole I made last time collapsed, most likely due to the Giant Centipede chasing me recklessly last time, leaving only a small hole thinner than the goblins arms.

"This must be what saved me so much trouble and gave me time to build the second floor in peace..."

Soon the ideas of giving up and leaving them alone start sprouting in my mind.

Maybe I should just leave things the way they were and advance my farming project.

There is no need to rush the Expansion, I should take my time and slowly grow stronger, there is no need to risk my life now fighting a dozen Giant Centipedes...

"Master! Ruyk smells something nasty coming from that hole!"

"Is that so? then why don't you go inside and take a look?"

"What? But the hole is too small. there is no way Ruyk can fit inside it."

I stretch my arms into the hole, cover my arm with Mana and slowly push my arm against the hole's walls, expanding it. Soon the hole is just big enough for Ruyk to crawl through it.

"Hmm...But it seems dangerous..."

"If you find some danger, you can always run back here."

Without waiting for my answer, Ruyk throws himself in the hole and soon disappear in the darkness.

Moving as fast as I could, I started drawing consecutive summoning circles right in front of the hole. As soon as I finish drawing the third one, I heard a huge goblin scream coming from the other side.

"Gyahhhhh!!!!!! Master! Help! Monsters!! They are coming!!! Master!!! Save Ruyyyyyyyk!!!"

As the screaming sounds got louder and louder, I could feel the approach of more than a dozen Giant Centipedes, the floor started to lightly tremble and my heart started beating faster and faster.

"They are coming... Ruyk fast! Over here!"

I called the goblin while I was finishing drawing the fourth summoning circle.

Finally Ruyk appeared in the hole, I grabbed his hand and pulled him, throwing him behind me and jumping back.

One second latter the dozen Giant Centipede appeared in the tunnel, crawling after him.

Putting both my hands full of Mana on the floor, spreading the Mana through all the circles, I screamed:

"Summon! Four Static Lightning! Confirm!!!"

As I confirmed the summon, the gems on the circle vanished just as the Giant Centipede stepped in, then the magnificent 3 Lightnings fell upon them, burning them until nothing was left.

"Hmm... it seems like one failed... well, at least if saves me some Topaz gems..."

I looked at the dozen Monster Cores left by the traps.

"Good, it seems my Monster Core requirements have been fulfilled!"

And just as I commemorate in my heart, I felt a goblin hand pulling me from behind.

"Master! We got to run! The big one is coming!"

As Ruyk said this, he started sprinting with all his might.

"What? Big One??"

Bang! Bang! Bang!

I looked back at the hole and saw a Giant Centipede even bigger than the one I first fought digging it's way toward me. It had a shell full of slash marks and a dark crown on top of its head.

"Oh No!! That's the A Rank Giant Centipede!! The Giant Centipede Queen!!"

Bang! The Giant Centipede Queen broke through the hole and fell right on the Static Lightnings. It let out a huge scream as the three thunders fell on it's body and using the last bits of it's strength it scratched the Summoning circles, dispelling the Lightnings and then she fell on the ground.

I took this chance to take a closer look, aside the swallow slash marks covering its head, the only visible weakness was a long sword piercing the section right after her head. As I approached to touch the sword, it opened its eyes again.

"Fuck! it's not dead yet! I got to act fast!"

Jumping on top of the Giant Centipede Queen I took out my War Hammer and swing it with all my strength on top of the sword handle, as if it was a nail.

"Gyyyyyyyyyyyyhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The pain made the Giant Centipede Queen scream and jump up crazily. I, who was on top of it, was catch by surprise and ended up letting go off the War Hammer as I lost my balance, so all I could do as I fell was grabbing on the sword as if my life depended on it.

The awaken Giant Centipede Queen started running and jumping around through the walls of the labyrinth trying to throw me away, but no matter what it did I didn't let go. As for me, I was on top of a crazy tiger(Giant Centipede Queen), the moment I fell I would die, my hand strength was still strong but it wouldn't last forever, I had to make some plan fast.

"Think! Think! Think you damn idiot! How the heck can you survive this!?"

The sword had opened a wound on the Giant Centipede Queen body, but it's natural regeneration would soon close it again, so it was impossible to bleed it to death. There was also the danger the sword breaking anytime due to the constant stress it was suffering now, and if it broke, it was bye bye to me.

"Idiot! Stop thinking about how you die, and find a way to survive!"

My brain was going crazy looking for a solution, it was then that I saw the Static Lightning pass near me, giving me a bright idea.

"If I can't make it go to the trap, I might as well, make the trap go to it!"

Sounds odd, sure, but that's what passed my head.

Allowing the blade of the sword cut the tip of my finger, I draw the Summoning circle around the sword using my blood, then I took out the topaz gems and pressed strongly against the circle as I screamed.

"Summon!"

The centipede tried to shake me off by hitting the ceiling, I covered my body with Mana...

"Building Mode!"

and activated building mode just in time to avoid getting hit, by digging through the ceiling with my body. The sword also hit the ceiling, digging through the wound, making it bigger than ever. Green blood started to bleed out, covering part of the summoning circle, forcing me to draw it again. The

Giant Centipede Queen stopped struggling and started twitching in pain. Taking this as my chance, I cleaned the green blood with one hand, while biting the other and redrawing the summoning circle. I took the last topaz from the inventory, and pressed it against the circle.

"Summon!"

"Static Lightning!"

"Confirm!!!"

The Lightning came down as a thunder, blowing me away as it entered the sword and invaded the insides of the Giant Centipede Queen. Unfortunately I was not awake to see it's ending as I lost conscious after hitting my head against the wall.
