Chapter 50：The Dungeon Lord receives some guests.

Early morning, two days later, I woke up with a skull staring on my face.

"Whaaa!?"

Oh! It's a skeleton guard!

The skeleton guard pointed to the ground and made a follow me gesture.

"Hmm... we have a guest?"

The skeleton guard nodded his head a single time.

"OK, let's go meet the guest. But first, let me put something on...you can go back first."

After putting on my armored pants, boots and helmet, I put my hands on the Dungeon Core and chanted the command.

"Teleport, first floor stairs!"

A pillar of light covered me and when I notice, I was already in the first floor stairs.

"Hmm, if I remember it right, it should be possible for me to add some other teleport points, maybe I should add one to the entrance..."

Leaving this idea in the corner of my mind, I hurried my steps to meet the guest who had been waiting for me.

Passing the prison cells, I noticed something was wrong as I didn't hear the common energetic voices of my two prisoners from inside the cell, but since there are guests waiting, I decided to ignore it for now.

On one side Bia and Leticia with angry faces lashing out verbal abuses on the two men on the ground.

On the other side...well...as I said, the two men on the ground. XD

And right in the middle, my three skeleton guards trying to block both ways.

"Good morning Bia, Leticia. Can you explain me what is going on?"

"Hey! Don't you dare talk so casually with my girl!"

I glared at the big guy who was interrupting me and the skeletons, understanding my glare, jumped on him and forced him to shut up.

Wow, I'm starting to like these guards!

"So, as I was saying, it seems like you were fighting, do you need any help?"

"Oh, don't mind us, Plate, it's just some family matters, we will solve it later on our own."

"Right...so, what bring you two here?"

"Well, we were going to free these two but since they didn't seem to have learned their lesson... can I leave them here for a week? Please?"

What do you think this place is? A pet hotel? Sigh....

"Look, this place is not a hotel-"

Before I could finish my complain Bia cut me off.

"No problem! Put them to work on your farm, it should teach them a bit of modesty."

I didn't give up and made one last try.

"Even if you say, I can force them to be quiet but I have no means to force them to work..."

And it was Leticia who answered me this time.

"Oh, that's not a problem! Just let us have a talk with them when this guy wake up. If they start disobeying, all you need to do is tell us and we will punish them ourselves." ^_^

Leticia smiled coldly sending chills to my spine.

"O-OK then..."

I feel it's impossible to win when they are like this...sigh...

Bringing the two men back to their cells, I sealed the hole they made to escape and took out the knife that was used to dig it...Where did they even hid it before???

Anyway, from start to finish the skinny guy didn't say a single word, he just gave me a death stare while probably cursing me on his mind. Well, as long as he remains quiet, I don't really care how much he stares at me.

As I finish sealing the cells I hear the girls voice again.

"Wow! Wasn't this field bare last time I was here?"

"This is crazy, what kind of plants grow this fast!?"

"Hmm, actually they are the seeds you gave me on the first time we met."

"What are you saying!? How can those seeds grow this big in only 4 days? What kind of magic did you use?"

"This place is filled with Mana, the more Mana there is, the faster the crops grow. I was honestly surprised the first time I saw this but since it's not the first time, I kind of got a bit used to it."

"But is this healthy? Won't it have any hidden danger or something?"

"As far as I know, no. There are hundreds of registers of adventurers eating food from dungeons and all of them were as healthy or even healthier than their kind grown outside."

"Is that so?"

"Yeah, and the opposite is true to venous plants, they get deadlier than ever before, so make sure you know what you are eating before putting it on your mouth."

"Hmm..."

"Of course there is no need to worry here, these are the tomatoes, there are the corns and those are the watermelons."

"Do you still have turpins?" ^_^

"No, sorry, Ruyk ate them all"

"Eh!? My turpins..." T-T

"Hey! They are mine!"

"Don't mind, don't mind!" ;)

Leticia joined the talk.

"Hey Plate, what the hell are you? I thought you were an archaeologist. How come there are Skeletons here now? Don't tell me you have a necromancer part-time job."

"Oh that? I traded them with...a friend. I also got your water sprite egg, some other sprites and some chicks."

"My water sprite egg!? Can I see??"

"Sure, but it will take another five days or so for it to hatch, also, don't touch them, they are very frail."

"OK, I promise, now lead the way!"

"Hmm, it's up the central tower over there..."

"I am going first!"

Bia runs like the wind toward the tower.

"Hey, wait for me!"

Leticia follows after Bia just as fast.

"Hey, there is no need to run, they won't run away!"

Really now, how old are those girls? They act like kids... sigh... :)

I think this but help but let out a smile seem them like this.

OK, I can't be the only one acting like an old man, so I start chasing after them.

"Oh! There are four!!! Hey, give me one!"

"This one is black, is it sick??"

"Yes there are four, the brow ones are earth sprites, the black one is a dark sprite and the blue one is your water sprite, and no Bia, I won't sell you one before you can use Mana."

"Can I touch it?"

"It's better if you don't..."

"Please..." T_T

Let's try to change their focus before this get's any worse.

"Let me show you the chicks and the chicken house."

The two follow me as we step out of the tower and go to the warehouse.

Arriving there I see their game is not over as one chick talks right and left of the door while the other stands on the side chirping, meanwhile ruyk seems to have fallen asleep inside.

"Chirp!Chirp!Chirp!"

Chick goes right...

"Chirp!Chirp!Chirp!"

Chick goes left...

"Chirp!Chiiiiiiiiiirp!"

Chick stops!

"Chirp!"

Chick salutes!

I cant help but have the impression that these chicks are trained by some military personnel...

""Oh! So cute!""

"Can I hold it?"

"Yes, but be careful, it may peak you..."

The two girls catch each one chick in their hands.

"Oh! There is no way this cute little thing will peak me, riiiight?"

"Chirp!"

"Here, here, let sister Leticia give you a hug!"

"Chirp!"

I never thought I would get jealous of some chicks....

The four played around as I watch them for some time and after an hour or so they got tired and decided it was time to head back.

After putting the chicks inside the chicken house and throwing Ruyk out of it I grab one turpin from my inventory and throw inside.

"My Turpin! How could you!?"

"Hey! These are the chicks food! I can't give away!"

"My Turpin...." T_T

Sigh...

"Look, I will plant more later, when they grow I will reserve you some, ok?"

"Yes! Thanks Plate! You are the best!"

"All right, time for you to head back, do you really want to leave the boys here?"

Leticia glares sharply at me with cold eyes.

"OK, OK, it's no problem at all, don't worry, leave them as long as you want!"

God damn it, how did I get involved in this mess!?

"Plate, tomorrow go down the village to take your measures, I already negotiated with aunt Marta and all that is left is you."

"All right, I should appear before noon..."

As I said good bye to Bia and Leticia, I turned around to go back to the cave when I noticed signs of smoke coming from the other side of the mountain.

"Smoke?? Did the forest catch fire or something??"

Well, it's on the other side of the mountain... I doubt it will reach here...right?
